i use Paint.NET for them if you want to make icons though you will have to download the plugin off the paint.net forum. you can also use the gimp, when u save it, put .ico at the end of the name. you dont really need one of those special icon makers to make an icon.

id say either avast or avg if you want something free.i have pc cilling internet security though. $150 AUSD i think it was. although its pricey it works really well and ive never had a problem with it and had 2 viruses since i got it (some trojan and a boot sector virus).

i make my sites using 1024x768most new sites are designed for that resolution now since its the resolution mainly used by people on their computers.

lol thats a cool way to get around actually showing its hotlinking, lolbut when someone that has say cpanel goes in the bandwidth thing and you no how it has sites that are linking to your site or anything like that, would it still show?

i dont ever use any of those "tweaking" programs or anything like that.i just use the defragger and disk cleanup tools.i have a couple of tuneup/tweaking tools but ive never used them before.

i rather kubuntu over ubuntualthough newer versions of ubuntu look pretty nice!ubuntu makes gnome look nice for once, best distro with gnome ive seen!

i saw something at harvey norman once called a file bridge. i think its a USB thing or something that you plug in to 2 computers to transfer files over to it.additionally, you can just plug the hard drive into the new computer and just copy everything off it on to the new one?

linux is an operating system.it has nothing to do with microsoft or html, just an alternative to mac os or windowsits also free, theres heaps of different kinds too, its open source.

last night i told u about paint.NETcan i tell u something?if your making a habbo fansite then u will be using pixel art. you can do pixel art in paint or any graphics program.secondly, theres no programs to just "make a layout", u have to make it yourself.

thats a nice technique, never wouldve thought of anything like that, loland although it sed it would take a long time, i still hardly got to see the loading picture cos it only took like a second to load.
