  1. Hi all. Thanks for reading this, and helping me... :)I have a big problem - I must fix one computer for one of my important clients, but, everything seems to be fine, until you turn it on (really )ehm, anyway, when computer is turned ON, it boots and when it comes to login screen just blocks, and freezes, and there's nothing to do there. Sometimes I can manage to click on user to login, but then freezes again. ...Now, You will probably think that the best thing to do is reinstall windows. but that's not the case. I tried that, with latest winxp + sp2, but it freezes during installation.I tried to install, winxp with sp1, and win2000, and win98 and all gave me the same freezing while installing. Now, probably is some malfunction with hardware. But what is the simplest way for me to determine what hardware is malfunctionig. I tried to replace memory module, But there was no luck, I tried to replace HDD. Also no luck, and VGA card seems to work fine too. Any all that was left was MBO and CPU. So what to do now? ...After countless hours of thinking I tried to disable L2 Cache for CPU, and w.t.f.?! It boots, and loads windows, and log in, and everything works fine - slow like hell - but FINE. Im not sure how is that possible ?? So, to sum this post, here is info about computer:-----------MBO: Pc Chips M950 V.3.3. (Via Chipset VT8235, Amibios)CPU: Intel Celeron 2,4 Ghz (runs at ~ 42° constant)Memory module: 256MB, Nanya NT256D64S8HA0G-7K, 266Mhz-CL2 PC2100UOS: Windows XP, SP2-----------If anyone has solution for this problem, or any info how to get this computer going, please reply its pretty urgent now, thanks in advance.
  2. Well, If you have money, and you want to invest it in your self, you should go with Maya. But on the other hand if you want to learn 3d, modelling and such, go with blender!
  3. I would stick to general layout, like, this lite version, but I would just change it's color scheme to something specific, like DevianArt... something that will be eyecatchy, and all in the same color tones...
  4. hmm.. I must do something about it now I have my email posted on my own webpages... maybe to change it the way m^e suggested..
  5. hmm, Im not sure, because im in Europe but anyway, they defenetly don't have it in keychain version, but they have it maybe as real light-switch, try to search for "unica" brand on google
  6. Well, actually yes, but You can do numerous things in sketchup...
  7. I create the model, and then they manufacutre a keychain from the model, like I said earlier...
  8. and that's what I do anyway but today I signed up with siteuptime.com so their service check my site regulary every 30 mins, 24/7/365 as they say... so I'll see then what's exactly the problem...
  9. Well, it was just the matter of time. Blue-ray's really have thinner light spot so that way it can make smaller holes in medium. That's the philosophy. It was just the problem of medium that needs to be solved. Now, probably they solved the medium, and in approx. 2 years from now we will have them in our PC boxes, at home, istead of DVD.
  10. hmm, you could really make this post a little more usefull, you didn't say where to get it, what it does exactly.. but oh, ok. I did simple search via Google: Tuneup Utilities 2006 TRIAL VERSION is located here: /oldbrowser/index.html [-] full version you can buy for $39.99 and I can say it's pretty expencive...
  11. I use it too. I can confirm that it's a pretty good FTP software, and really if you are on the move all the time, and you need to access to FTP sometime, you can even put it to your USB stick drive, and carry it with you... it's pretty practical...
  12. But again, today from 08:00am, till 12:00 my site was unacessible often. I must say it rejects many visitors... Is there any way to avoid that?
  13. try to check at http://www.hotscripts.com/ and try to find some php script for password protect. then you will probably find instruction there how to implement that script. You must have hosting with php enabled, if you are hosted here at Xisto you have it already. good luck.
  14. oh, link to my earlier post of GIANT Squid, in this topic, don't exist anymore so here is the new link
  15. Well, I must say you're wrong about this. Imagine you got your own company, let's say design office.. Now ... you are designing for some client one multimedia CD. He asks you if you could produce and deliver to him 100 of that CD-s with printed cover on them - like originals, and all in original CD boxes with covers... Ok, so you could print all covers for CD-s on stickers and stick them on cd-s but that would be nonprofessional solution and it has low quality... On the other hand, you must burn 100 CD-s - do you know how much time it is...??? Let say you are burning 700MB cd-s at 4min per CD, and you still must drag them out of burner, put blank CD in, ok, let's say you are producing 1 cd at 5 mins. - that is approx 8,5 hours of burning. It's a waste of time... and you will probably go crazy. Now a SOLUTION will be to have an printer capable of burning CD copies, and printing covers direct on blank CD-s, and that kind of device already exists.. this is one device capable of doing just that:Rimage 2000i Desktop but it costs $2,939.00 for start model...
  16. well, I can't see them at all, probably because my monitor brightness is set too low...
  17. nice tut. But you might advanced it a bit. I would add one layer in background with "render clouds" effect, and colorize it with some neat color scheme... and finally add some blending mode to it... that will fill that empty black background.
  18. Well, adobe audition is nice program, it has many functions, and really it's a legacy of COOL EDIT PRO. I use it for many years now for postproduction of my songs... you can hear my work at my webpage
  19. It's illegal. Im sure of it. You can't use commercial music for nothing - the only thing you can do with it is listening...
  20. Nice, but at first when I saw this topic I thinked it's a printer for printing covers direct on blank CD-s and it's capable of burning them too... but this is something else
  21. Interesting fact. Imagine what will be in 10 years. it will be impossible to cont anymoore...
  22. well google is really good tool for search, powerfull and dangerous... But that title "Googleing passowrd" was worrying me, so I made a little research and tried to google my own passwords. So basicly I entered every mine passord into google's search box and pressed search button. So what happens. Of 3 of mine real used passwords only one if found via google. And it was found only as a "filename" of one page that's on arabian or similar language. So, this is a some kind of proof that you might find password but you don't know how and where to use it. Now, let's imagine a maschine (computer) powerfull enough to use all the knowledge google has, and apply it to brute force attack, on someone's web, or any password protected place....
  23. very nice style I must admit I like it very much! But. You might want to make that reversed Y in the middle of rim a bit more fat. It's just too thin, imagine it was real, someone could just break it too easily... Now, About the rest of the rim design, it's really nice, syle is good, and final render here looks very nice. I would love to see it attached to some car-model just to see how it goes with it. keep up with work like that...
