So finally GT5 is dropping next wednesday (europe).Are there any enthusiasts on this forum? I'm kinda surprised to see that the gaming part of this forum isn't that active.But anyway post all about GT5 here: pics, vids, personal stories, suggestions, speculations etc etc.Me, I've pre ordered the "Signature Edition" and I can't wait to get the "SLS AMG Obsidian Black" painted case with AAllllll it's content in my hands .

Here in holland we have a new show running at the moment called " -The Voice- of holland ".This show brought some new elements to the table. Singers get an blind audition after getting trough a first round in which they send in audio demo. During the blind auditions the judges sit on rotating chairs with their backs to the performers. If a judge likes what he or she hears they can press a button and that means the candidate is tru to the next round, at that point the judge chair rotates to a normal position facing the performer. If more then one judge vote for the same candidate then the candidate gets to chose which judge he would like to have as his or her coach. After these blind auditions every judge has a team and in the next round called "the battles" each judge will have to eliminate some of his or her's candidates by putting them one by one in a battle against eachother and after their performance desiding which was better. I don't know yet what the next round will be after "the battles", we 'll see next week.

But still installing software would recuire the OS portion to be "read and write".I think that's what everybody else ment.

This is a no-brainer!!!Every single gamer who has played a variety of racing simulations games and is comopletely "honest" about it, would HAVE tell you that the Gran Turismo series are by FAR the most realistic. GT series have the best: graphics - game modes - physics - car models - car variety. Also things like the "GT academy" now done for the 2nd time is something other games can't stand against. For those who don't know what the GT academy is, it's a racing competition in which gamers all over the world compete online in time trial and the best of several countries then compete with eachother in head to head races, and finaly the winner gets the chance to achieve a real racing license and then race in a real race, the first time was that the 24 hours of dubai in a nissan 350 Z and the second time (last year) the winner got the chance to race a whole season of the european GT4 league in a nissan 370 Z. There is one thing though I thought they did wrong in the series and that was leaving out a damage engine, but the new GT5 finaly has it. Release date is nov 3th and I'm one of the lucky or rather crazy ones that ordered the "Signature Edition" (€180) with tons of goodies .

ThnX for the suggestions, I used "GetDataBack" NTFS and it worked perfectly. I got my photos back plus a couple of .max files I lost a few weeks back.

GetDataBack worked like a charm, thnx.Saved me from getting strangled by my girlfriend lol.

My problem is this.I had a photo loader software installed on my computer. This prog indexed a couple of hondred photos I had.Yesterday I uninstalled the prog form my computer without considering the posibility that the folder containing my photos would be deleted to which it did. My question is this, what if I used system restore? would it restore my photos too? Or would it simply restore just the prog files only?

So my question is this,I have a desktop pc connected to the net through a wired modem.I also have a free (as in not used) wireless network adapter build in to the desktop pc which I want to share with a laptop.The goal is to have a live internet connection on the laptop.What are the steps I need to follow to achive my goal.Thnx in advanceEDIT: additional info, I have winxp installed on the desktop and windows vista installed on the laptop

I just upgraded my system with:ASRock 4coredual-VSTAIntel Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8GhzKingston DDR400 1GBAnyway I found out the BIOS that's installed on my MB is an outdated version so I want to update it.I went to the ASRock site and found the new BIOS and found the instructions,but my question is, How big is the risk of me damaging my MB while trying to update my BIOS?What`s the worst that could happen?

I`ve used this technique a few years back. I had a differ render tho. I used picollo, and i got to admit that the urban theme is nicer. It would have suited me better too,as I am urban.I chose the picollo render just because I used to whach DragonBall everyday at that time. EDIT: I just remembered that I made three differ ones. one with a "heihachi" render one with a "ryu" render en the "picollo" one. I even found one of them on my current hard disc.

Painfully I have to say that is a modeling error,and the sad part about it is that it`s irreversible at least to my ability. I made the mistake of modeling the side of the car (which is this plane here:) after already added a modifier to a earlier much more "lowpoly" stage of this same plane,what`s the problem you ask? well to fix this problem in the stage that the plane is in right now it would take little about 200 vertices to be indivualy modified. Now If I could reverse the first modifier I added to the plane so I can go back to the lowpoly version, that would change that amount drasticly it would only be like 8 or 9 vertices to adjust.And now my real problem when I reverse the modifier in question I lose the whole gap on the side of the car including "that jagged edge" actualy that whole section up to just right behind the frontwheel.I tried that option and thought I could simply be able to recreate the whole section again, but after I`ve done that and want to smoothout the mesh the whole mesh explodes LOL ,... no seriously.All vertices in the front part of the plane(over the frontwheel) just blow up in all directions.But I`m experimenting with the boolean tools to see if I can still repair that mesh error so the finished model won`t have that flaw.

In my case I think it`s more a question of which one I`m getting first the Ps3 or the Wii. Getting "both" is my only option here actualy because of course I`m a playstation fan specialy for titels like Gran Turismo etc and the Wii is just such an innovation that I can`t let it just pass me by.So there you have it I choose both Wii and PS3.
