  7. Is anyone had some experience with this software Sketchup? It's really primitive one, and so simple to use. It's really ideal for begginers in 3d, but It may help you also if you are designing your home interior, or just want to make a new table for your computer, etc...

  10. Interesting theory, let me say you something. Until scientist don't think up some robot that is able to learn by every step it takes, AI will not evolve. When this important step occurs, there will be a great revolution of robots. AI is important part of every robot, but it's programmed, and it's hard to simulate life with program software. When scientists could program only minimal input of AI to a robot, and robot can then start self-learning process - that will be a real AI-robot.
  11. This is old news actually. They had made it for lan networks too. And it works fast but mainly it depends on quality of electric installations. And if you have many devices installed, like TV, freezer, device for hot water in bathroom (I cant remeber the right word... ) and such, all that devices are causing interferentions, now imagine, how much interferetions is that...! This thing "electric" internet will probably be used only by large telephone companies in conjuction with electric power-line companies for low-cost connecting to distant areas without need to use telephone lines, only power-lines...
  12. oh, I forgot to mention that! They are also great too. I recommend it also.
  13. wow, this is insane! I could actually backup my HDD on just 2 of these...! But I wonder how much it will cost now? I will probably wait next 2 years for lower price, and then get on it when it becomes cheap and available to us all...

  19. I think pretty the same. About that BSOD, it's true that it happens in software or hardware malfunctions. But beaware: If you install a software that requires appropriate hardware installed you might get BSOD, and on the other hand if youhave hardware that don't have appropriate software installed you might get BSOD. And finally if you have incompatible components, that's not tested together and certified, in your comp's system you might get BSOD. [+] So, there is lot's of reasons that you might have. [+] If you have certified buited computer (certified for winxp or win_any_version) there are small chances you will get BSOD [+] If you have NO luck and buy component (like graphic card) that is not teseted in combination with you motherboard you will probably sometimes get BSOD while you play some games, or use some software. So my advice to all of you is to buy only tested components, or you will end up with lots of troubles.
  20. Is there really need for some different firewall...? I use the one integrated with windows, and it works for me just fine. Dont see it, dont hear it, and id does his job nice.
  21. I use REASON for about 3 years now. Actually from it's version 1.0 and their great software ReBirth (that you can now download for free). Reason is really one very-very-kickass-good software. You can hear what kid of music I make with reason at my web (here is link to it) so you decide yourself what is good.
  22. DreamWeaver. Just look at its name. You have no idea how powerfull software hides behind a name of that. Just like Photoshop, it's a very powerfull software. If you are afraid of it's interface, look closer, it's so logically, and after just 1-2 hours you will get familiar with it. If you never had contact with DreamWeaver before and you don't know where to start it would be the best to surf a bit, and find some tutorials to it... There is planty of tutorials on web, just dig out some and start learning. If you have access to public library rent a book there, really it can help you alot, there is some excellent books on DreamWeaver subject. Probably you will need a couple of days to leard DreamWeaver from a book. Anyway, after 1 week, (If you learn and work constantly) you will learn everything you need to know to get you started with DreamWeaver and you web.Oh, and one more thing. Forgot about FrontPage. It's a piece of Sh*t from Microsoft, and it's for people who don't know how to use anything else except Word.
