  1. I don't think this as "innovation" The japaaneese people are using this kind of devices for a long time.
  2. There is one called Vanila which is very simple and functional if you are using it in sites where you are sure that there will only be small amount of members this will suit you : -https://vanillaforums.org/
  3. If you plan to use a bluetooth keep in mind that lower quality ones will offer very very poor transfer speeds, so buy quality ones according to the speed you are expecting to get.
  4. Another MySpace hater here: -The site is poorly designed - As the network is big, they don't care about it anymore - Very Very Inefficient serversBut as they are pioneers in this they will survive ($$$and cash $$$$$)I am on Orkut user and I love it eventhough it has less features than Myspace
  5. Sorry man, I can't agree with you about OpenOffice, it is not even close to Microsoft Office 2007 in terms of features and functionality.I also like to see worthy competitiors to Microsoft so we will get better products. But it is suitable for "almost" every occassion
  6. I sometimes use Opera's "Show Images" "Hide Images" "Only Cached Images" buttom etc. They make browsing easy and simple on slow connections (which I am using, still on age old dial up ) OR slow servers.Firefox is not really good for speed,In My View. For speed nothing beats Opera, I think the same is true for Maxthon also it is extremly light weight.
  7. People do the stuff they enjoy.I simply think we play games because we win.I usually don't play games because most of the times I can't play well, I just fails..So I usually don't play games. We all love winning at least in the virtual world that sense of schievemnt is the key.Jusy my views
  8. ^^I also have the same opinion, Google and other search engines giveg good value to links that you get from so called "social web".Like social bookmarking services like del.icio.usIf some one saves pages without www. it will be considerd to point to another location.
  9. ^^I think that is because they are using Content Management Systems which are horribly complex. What I am trying to say is that upgrading it is a very very tedious process.
  10. In my case, they are all simple applications : - Microsoft Encarta 2006 - Newsgator Feeddemon - Opera - Ad Muncher - Microsoft Windows Media Player - Mozilla Firefox - JSAS (Joomla Stand Alone Server) - Adobe Photoshop CS2 - Microsoft Word - Microsoft Powerpoint - WinRAR
  11. The drawing looks good In My Opinion. One suggestion, try to change the colour scheme a bit.
  12. Man don't do any registry scans...I think that is where these programs are not really capable of. Everything else works fine for me..
  13. Nice add on .But I can't see ads in your page ????Any problems..
  14. If you want to buiuld serious websites consider using an industry standard content management system (read as widely used) such as Drupal or Joomla.I prefer Joomla over Drupal because of ease of use.And Joomla has loads of addons like extensions, themes, templates etc etc.. Just ty it you will know what I meant https://www.joomla.org/ https://www.drupal.org/ --
  15. As many said the main difference lies in the speed and responsiveness of the Opersting System.CD-R drive is slow in data transfer capabilities so if you have a good CD drive the better. If you are using an installed distribution it will be responsive.Another thing is that Live Linux Disc(k)s are small in most cases.Ubuntu is 698 MB consdering Fedora Core 6 which spans different CDs.I reccomend you to try a Live CD for evaluationg its interface only, you can change this later.
  16. If you are into SEO.Don't go for link exchanges with very well known link farms that will affect your rankings.Find a community that is specific to the content you are serving with your site/ blog then talk about it there and give links.Ask your friends and relatives to bookmark your site in social bookmarking sites such as del.icio.us wink.com etc etcIf possible try to get "digged"
  17. Here are some threads that may help you : - http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ By the way which USB are you using (I mean version 1.0? .20??).
  18. If your hardware is compatible SuSE is a really good Linux distro for beginning Linux users. But if you wish to learn linux deeply I will recommend trying and installing Red Hat Fedora Core 6 OR Ubuntu.Linspire is also a good option for beginers.IMO if you learn the terminal Linux is very easy but it will take time..
  19. I like IDM (Internet Download Manager) it works fine.Handles the links from file sharing servers like rapidshare.de and rapidshare.com.Many others don't cdownload well from theese servers.I don't use it much because of my old ded dial up connection.Still I use sometimes. But IDM is not a freeware, it is a shareware program.Comparing it to others I think there is a little speed improvement.
  20. But P2P is not organised as the specialised services mentioned above, findiing stuff is more defficult.
  21. I think this is a little old news... I read about this in 2005 in MSN Search Weblog (known as Live Search blog ).Here is the link to the post : blogs.msdn.com/livesearch/archive/2005/06/21/431288.aspxComing back to the post IMO what MSN has to do now is to market thier products for the average joes about how superior is thier technology is than thier rival services.
  22. Thanks for the interest you show to help me @yordan I will try it soon I am using Windows XP now. - - Do I need to have an internet connection to install KDE ??. I haven't seted it up because I don't know How to configure my CDMA modem in it
  23. The site is good for finding legal stuff. But many prefer to use cracks or find software from warez sites. This may help people to stop people from pirating stuff (only to a small extent) because the people who use pirated software are most of the time advanced users, who may not wait sites like this to come with the application that they need. But it will help people who prefer to use legal applications.
  24. Really funny..About women I have seen in technology forums, never seen any.But if someone can act as a women they will get great consideration..I have actually seen male people pretending as female in thinkdigit forum, with post count that are more than 300.
