Windows Xp: Explorer.exe Crashes On Certain Accounts
Saint_Michael replied to gameratheart's topic in Operating Systems
Almost sounds like a glitch in the user account set up or it is a memory issue. However, I have come across a solution that might work and that is do a repair installation and when you get into the installation menu, select repair and see if that works. I would suggest that you completely back up you computer before do the repair installation just in case you wipe out your system if you try to install windows again, but of course if that doesn't work then a reinstallation of the operating system might be in order and before you create the user account make sure to fully update the system. -
Taking The Linux Plunge Want to help me learn Linux?

Sounds like you get everything working perfectly now that is a tutorial I wouldn't mind seeing on trap especially since I am taking a class in LAN right now and being able to network up you have would bring great relief to me. -
What Sport Should I Do Please Help! What sport should i do
Saint_Michael replied to magickosta's topic in Health & Fitness
You shouldn't have to rely on our opinions on what sport you want to take because it shouldn't matter what you choose for a sport because all of them have their ups and down and you should take a sport that you enjoy. -
Want A Light Or Stripped Down Xp Install?
Saint_Michael replied to saitunes's topic in Operating Systems
Interesting as it is, I wouldn't mind seeing lifehacker going through and setting up a working stripped down version of Vista, if it at all possible. Of course the reasons are obvious because all the clutter it has and what not, but I have a strange feeling that because of all integrated vista is that it would a little tricky to do without crashing the system in some way. -
I would have to agree on some of the suggestions about helping your site be more search engine friendly by getting rid of those php like links and using better ones, like what was mention about the photo dates and what not. Also another suggestion I have and just because it rather annoys me for some reason, don't ask me why, but I suggest that you start using lightbox or one of its many variations, because it adds a bit more professionalism to the the website and it get rid of all that extra click as well in order to go back to the website. Only downfall to that is you won't be able to use those ads you have on the other way. As for the pictures **wipes drool away**, also I was thinking when I saw the picture of you with the computer, should have one with Xisto on it . Also I am shocked , I don't see my sig on your site . Other then that its a picture perfect portfolio website.

Like I mentioned in my above post you want ns.computinghost.com and ns2.computinghost.com and then just wait for the name servers to propagate and your TLD will be up and running.
-
your name servers need to be pointed at ns.computinghost.com and ns2.computinghost.com the Xisto name servers are no longer valid.

Well Microsoft it all its glory **bows to it** does have a solution on how to fix this and hopefully you have the system CD that came with your computer. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/319095

Taking The Linux Plunge Want to help me learn Linux?
Saint_Michael replied to travstatesmen's topic in Operating Systems
Well just like the regular ubuntu installation the server edition should have a partition program when install the operating system so that should help you somewhat. As for the RAM itself if you can in some luck drop in 1 or two gigs of RAM, because if I am thinking what your thinking I and I know I don't think to often, you going to have that computer as your main server and everything else is going to connect to it. So would want to beef that up as much as possible just in case you plan on using it for server storage and what not.Although I don't think it would matter all that much if you got rid of Windows 2000 because it is outdated no longer supported and it could mess around with your dual booted server I think you plan on running through your place. Sadly though I can only give you hardware recommendations since my linux is limited and very limited to the server edition as well. -
After many weeks of ready, searching, googling, asking questions, coding minor debugging and some other stuff I have set up my first version of a Xisto portal application. Sad to say though that this sucker is loaded with errors and as has man browser related errors as well, but most liking stemming from the original error that I am at. Of course, the funny thing is that it works perfectly on my computer with obvious reasons since it is being locally tested, however I wanted this to be a desktop application and that way Xisto member would be able to have a Xisto portal application without the need to load browser. Then again though the security aspect of this application has zero so it has an unknown release at this time. That is the error, and odds are it has to do with how I am exporting this for a release build the only things that are working properly that I am aware of is the search books and the nav menu. As for browser related issues Firefox 3 - Iframes do not load properly and RSS feed does not work Opera 9.52 - Same thing Internet Explorer 7 - RSS feed does not work I am being told that firefox 2.0.0.17 and 3.1.2 are displaying the websites properly and so that is where I am at this time and so I will provide a link to the source code and if people who are interested can take a look and see what can be fixed and or cleaned up and of course the actual layout itself. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Now that is very interesting, especially the fact they allow users to only search for websites that were running back in 2001 and I find it especially fun to see what websites look like way back when as well. Of course I only can imagine that engineering they had to do in order to get that specific in their search results though.

What Version Of Photoshop Should I Buy?
Saint_Michael replied to aqaing's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I would give my left arm for CS4 right now, but hopefully I will win it at this adobe user group I attend in December, took a lot book reviews and tutorials but hopefully I generate the points needed for it. Anyway if you want to get the most out of photoshop then you want to get CS3 extended and that way you can work with 3D objects and what not, and because of its backwards capability anything you use such as brushes and gradient effects will rollover and be usable. -
Flex Error #1034: Type Coercion Failed: Cannot Convert Mx.managers
Saint_Michael replied to eniranjee's topic in Programming
I know this error as I came across it and the problem is that you duplicated the class somewhere and you need to fix that, however, since you didn't provide the full source code it is hard to determine where the duplication is at. Due to the fact you have so many lines that have produce this error, but usually it is at the top of your code that might be producing the error (line 68). Since this is just a drop down menu your are better of just placing it within the application itself instead of connecting it with module and so that is all I can really offer you since I don't know much on debugging errors in flex. I recommend that you click this link which lists google results for this error and that you check them out and see if one of those site might provide you a solution. Click here -
Well when you have thousands of websites talking about the same thing it gets kind of hard to be unique with the name, but on that note though if you notice most hosting websites that have forums they are either for support or for general discussions. So if everyone notices this isn't your typical hosting forum since Xisto has topics that cover most things and we didn't have all these different forums the credit system wouldn't exist and we be the post to host instead of posting to earn credits for hosting.

Although I can't remember where it is, but it is against the rules to host, link and upload porn to your website, illegal content such as cracked programs serial numbers and stuff like that is also against the rules as well. Doing so will get your website terminated and you oculd be reported as well for hosting any illegal content as well. The warez is obvious because it is against the US laws to have copyrighted material hosted on your website, because the servers are located in the US. As for hte pron due to the fact that hosted members ages range from 10-90 it is against the law to show porn to minors.

I thought as much as to why the name change but I would think adding the title "Xisto Open Discussion" would be more beneficial due to the fact that that dropping Xisto from the main link would have adverse affects in SEO. Especial due to the fact that hte topics and posts would have to be reindexed under the new name and not the url name and it could be just me but I have seen the PR rank go up and down through a firefox extension when I visit trap. Hopefully it doesn't affect it to much though.

Trust me I have ask the inner circle and I get either no idea or no response from the man himself and for all we we know we gone made and thus needs to go on a very long vacation to refresh himself and then come back to trap . In all seriousness even yours truly doesn't know what is going on but something is happening I guess.

Let's Celebrate Four Years Of Saint Michael
Saint_Michael replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
Yes I am going to keep on saving my credits, and maybe one day when they get ridiculously high maybe I get rid of some . Its ok Mich it is the thought that counts in posting in a topic like this I am a helpful person I do give credits away bluebear for those who desperately need them and from looking at your credit count you don't need any. Well I am old, maybe even older the haslip , but who knows you got about 40-50 years before I am cranky old man so I highly doubt you will wait that long . -
Canada Or The Us? Advice for me and my girlfriend.
Saint_Michael replied to BlueInkAlchemist's topic in General Discussion
It would be more expensive for her because she would have to apply for a student Visa and pay out of state fees for her college tuition as well. Of course, in order to get pass all that she would have to apply for dual citizenship or become nationalize and become an American by either filling out the papers or getting married. Odds are you go through the same process just to go to school in Canada, except for the marriage thing and because the future is still unknown I would suggest staying local untill you are properly informed on what you do would have to do to go up north or go down south for college. -
Windows Xp Sp2 Restarting After Some Time
Saint_Michael replied to bluedragon's topic in Operating Systems
Usually the most common cases your computer case is generating enough heat that it restarts the system in order cool down, and so you shold check several things. First check to see what can of dust is in your case and then blow it out with an air can. Next remove the fan over your processor and see if their is any thermal paste on your processor and if there isn't any on the processor or the fan over the processor, and so go to your local computer shop or purchase some at newegg and apply a small amount and see if that would help. Before you do that what I suggest you do a system check through your computer by rebooting you computer and in the boot menu select the diagnostic option and do a full scan and see if any memory errors show up. Then do a check disk and system file check through command prompt by typing Chkdsk and for the system file checker read up on the information from this link on what do https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/310747. Now you done all that and still have this problem back up any stuff you have and do a reinstallation of your computer. -
Well not being an expert Ubuntu user but an expert google search user but I did find this command that might fix your problem haslip. sudo chown yourusername ~/.dmrcchmod 644 ~/.dmrc That should do the trick as it has a good successful rate fro mthe various topics I have seen about this.

Original Source http://www.mynbc5.com/article/peta-urges-ben-jerry-s-to-use-human-milk/3287822 First off I do not think PETA knows how much milk would be needed to produce millions of gallons of ice cream and I don't think PETA realizes that human can be easily tainted if under the right conditions such as drug use. I don't know what the average mother produces until her child is weened off the breast milk, but I know this their is not enough women in this world who could produce the amount of milk needed by natural means. So drugs would be produce in order to even produce this the amount of milk needed for ice cream production. Of course I haven't heard the other side of story but regardless, I think PETA needs to realize that would be a stupid move to make and odds are would collapse the ice cream industry because of it and besides what inhumane treat would be done ot those women who do nothing but produce milk for ice cream, I would think it would be emotional and physical torture to them as well.
