  1. Pardon the name of the topic if it does mean anything. I struggled to put it together because I do not know what the thing I want is called. I am developing an online auction using Webid 1.1.1 and I need a php script (even a stand alone) to act as an eBank that my members can use as a payment option just like they do with PayPal. I'm mainly looking for freeware. Im hoping I can use a system like the one that displays myCent here and customise it. Any pointers?
  2. I am developing an online auction site using WeBid script and I need something like an ebank that stores a member's balance like myCents and I need this to be the primary payment option on the website. Users should be able to top buy and sell to each other using this system like they would using PayPal. Does anyone know where I can download a free php script that does that using mySQL database?
  3. Lonovos generally look backwards to me but I hear they are durable if you buy their serious models. The budget ones that I've seen tend to disintegrate even if you try to take good care of it. The G585 is a good example
  4. I don't like Opera but it didn't fail me on this one. It blocked everything. I know Firefox 3 can't be beaten by Opera9.63 so I wont even test it.
  5. That kinda thing was not supposed to sell elsewhere in this world and never reach Africa. Some of my reasons are:- In Africa we use ancient machines that a re very low on specs. If the word lite means what I think it means then this would be ideal for some of the P2s that are still around in some homes and offices.-Generally Africans are poor and anything that has a lower price tag should definitely pass by here.-When it comes to piracy this is what it looks like here-Since I knew there was SP2 I've only seen 2(two) original copies of XP+SP2 yet 80% of my friends have a copy each.-Most things that are loaded in OSes dn't work for most Africans because of limited resources. Things like syncing and all those things that need fast internet simply don't work here.I can go on and on but all I will be saying is, if it is true that such a thing came out, they should have targeted Africa also.
  6. Because it's a well known fact that Vista was a flop. That's why the Window "Fixta" 7 project had to be accelerated. That's why they released the SP1 faster than they had been doing before. They know there are people who just wanted to skip Vista that's why they are forcing us to install Vista SP1 first hoping that we may say "Hmmm, Vista's not that bad after all. I'm not sure if they will succede.
  7. yes sometimes it's not about the money but this time it is. I am a Zimbabwean who has no access to paypal, mastercard etc because of sunctions so money really affects my decission. If I am to ask a friend to do it for me then it has to be very cheap so that they wont really feel the pinch in their pocket
  8. I like the sound of that. I love such collections. I got a collection of Windows Sp;ash Screens from ZDNet and stored it on my rig. I hope I'll not lose it like I have lost my collections before.
  9. My gums have been bleeding like that for more than 10 years. The black stuff problem is also equally old. I didn't want to go to see the dentist for some reason too personal for me to share. One of the major reasons is: I live in Zimbabwe where dconsulting a doctor costs five times more that I earn per month
  10. Nine in every ten keylogger users will be trying to use them for criminal purposes. The first time I tried something like that I wanted my girls password. I can not encourage anyone to use a keylogger. They are bad that's why they are blocked by AntiViruses
  11. I think you are right. I don't see Google charging user for most of these things that we are getting for free now, but it is posible for them to throw in some paid services and give massive limitations to the users who opt for free packages. Sometimes they don't. Have ever seen how many the gmail user are who complain about it having no folders. Some people have resorted to firefox extentions to make labels look like folders, but Google seems not to care aboutn what we want. In their minds they have the kind of thing they think we are supposed to like and that's what they give us.
  12. That is so sad to hear I realy think you are very funny. probably next year they will recognize you. Who does the nominations anyway? Aren't they based on the ratings you get on your posts?
  13. i love Will Smith and i heard he has never acted in a flop. I wonder what got into him to accept a role in such a poor movie.
  14. How do I change my Xisto registered email? I have asked this question on the shoutbox but noone saw it. The email that I used to register to trap17no longer works and now I can't reset my password. Please help.
  15. Hey Guys, At our company we have had a domain that we use that was registered in 2005 by our ISP as a part of their broadband package. We have been using this domain for email and someone told me that we could not use this domain unless we register it for a website. I really do not understand this whole website-email domain thing. Can a domain be registered for one thing and not be able to do another thing. Today when I went there asking them to register it for the web they told me it was already registered and all we need to do was tell the web host that we have an existing domain already. Can anybody tell me what I am supposed to do with this domain so that I use it for our website. Our ISP does not host sites anymore. If it's true that there's nothing more that needs to be done how do I host the site here at Xisto with my kudmus account?
