  1. Nokia phones were really good at a time, now they are ugly, expensive and offer half the features of brands like Sony Ericsson. I've had a T300 for two years now and it still kicks. Now I think my brother is gonna get a Siemens C65. It doesn't offer all the features of SE, but its still cheap and looks nice too.
  2. Lies! Lies I tell you! I had my proud warning level for nearly half a year now. It went away, and now its back
  3. If you liked the first one, you'll like this one. The game has a few problems as it was rushed for release, but I still consider it to be a great RPG.
  4. Ugh!? the Airbus 320 has been in service for some time now and its waay better than Boeing planes when it comes to fuel economy, actually I think it may be one of the best planes around for good fuel economy and cheap upkeep.
  5. the original Transformers, then lets see what else was there (hah, you people think pokemon is old??)He-ManM.A.S.KSaber RiderThundercatsVoltronoh and dont forget The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (again, original 1982 series)but after being through all this, the best cartoon is probably Tom & Jerry
  6. blue LEDs look much cooler than green or red as would probably lasers, but I would definately not recommend shining a laser directly to your eye as you'll potentially go blind. Home use lasers such as the ones in CD players are less dangerous since they are low powered and you can blink before any serious damage is done, but its still dangerous.Oh and laser doesn't really have brightness but rather intensity, because it is actually invisible. (check the above pic, you see no beam except where it hits) The blue lasers are going to be use in the new generation Bluray (hint: the name) and HD-DVD media because they are more focused and can read from smaller tracks, hence the increase in capacity.
  7. Got the tickets about two weeks ago, so I'll be going with a few friends and a big Star Wars fan, my brother, to watch it on Thursday. Seems to get good reviews from journalists and obviously has a dark ending like The Empire Strikes Back so we should be in for a good one!
  8. someone needs to change the title of the topic here, the PS3 and XBox 360 are NOT released, only information and pictures have been released due to the E3. The units will be released in the next year or so.
  9. Stay away from all macs except maybe Big Macs, thats what I will suggest :lol:There's nothing wrong with Dell except for it being a huge big company going for a monopoly in retail PC sales...

    I Hate Noobs

let me just suggest that the term "n00b" is relative...you can say that you don't like n00bs, but how do you know that someone else doesn't think of you as a n00b as well?
  11. It all depends on the server that domain name is pointing to. If the server supports something like fantastico you can configure your own email accounts for pretty much anything. I have a domain, and I have it setup to point at my Xisto account. And from the control panel I've setup a bunch of email addresses that are redirected to existing accounts all over the place.
  12. The most impressive feature of google is Google Maps. You can zoom right in to your house if you are in a large city in north america and the satellite has passed through about your home.
  13. You may want to try changing the wireless channel as there are 11 different channels for US and they all use a slightly different frequency. Also, move your wireless router higher up and change the location of the phone to preferably not be in the same room. You should check if the phone uses the 2.4GHz range though, because unless its very very new it shouldn't and therefore it shouldn't actually effect the wifi.
  14. brand? you kidding, you shouldn't just go for brand names... thats capitalism working right there...I just buy whatever suits my style, the last thing I look is the brand. Except shoes, in which case Adidas is superior to all other and therefore my choice.
  15. hmm... action eh? thats me with not reading the entire thing... now where the hell is my delete button?
  16. The original C&C series and Red Alert were awesome, but the best games ever would be Fallout & Fallout 2. No other game has the story detail. The games are over ten years old now, but they proove that technology isn't anything without some creativity.
  17. I've got my good old Sony MD Player, its got better sound quality than all those MP3 players. And those are the words coming from a Pro in music who used to own an MD player and swtiched to a Zen 30GB. Now there are HiMD players with disks multiple times bigger and better quality... although those iPods with their fancy looks have got everyone else's work cut out for them.
  18. nope, sorry never heard of them... but then again, I've only heard of US, Canadian and British universities together with a few in Germany and Netherlands.
  19. Thats an awfully awfully old card there I would get like a GF4MX for 20 bucks or so.
  20. Complexity of software and harware will increase exponentially as it always has. Internet will be expanded to control household devices and general concern will tend towards ease of use rather than speed or storage. Thats my shot.
  21. I've been using this for a few days, it seems to work here and there... most of the time the difference is very little though. in 481 pages I've saved 5.1 min.
  22. It would be damn cool if they put a cinema in that thing... they are gonna put things like fitness saloons etc...
  23. You guys should hold onto your dreams... dual core cpus are coming fall/winter so I don't see any reasons to upgrade just yet. Thats why I'm holding off anyways, and this is the best place to say, my next CPU will be an athlon
  24. Number one is your brain, everything else come like one thousand places behind... same story with virus protection.
  25. well yes, just putting the whole thing on my Xisto account is a possibility, I'm just wondering why this doesn't work, it is there for this purpose afterall...
