Wow, it is a good way to promote Linux. Even I would not install a Linux dist which is full of games. See the penguin wielding a big gun? It would be more handsome if it can stand up.

Do you want to sell the domain or all of content of the site? If you want to sell your domain, and the domain is not your primary domain, you may simply delete the hosting of the domain from your account, and enter the domain name server (a.k.a. update NS records) addresses by the buyer at the domain DNS management section. If you want to also sell the content of the blog, you may backup all of your files and databases of the blog site before you delete the domain from your account, modify something (like database connection detail) if necessary, and give it to the buyer. As my Xisto - Web Hosting hosting is still pending, so sorry that I can not tell you the real procedure.

Yagoohoogle Do You Yahoo Or Google ?
alexthemans replied to alexia's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Yeah, there is no yagoohoogle anymore, but there is twinengine (http://twinengine.com/). A long time ago I use Yahoo as my main web searcher, and Yahoo! Mail; but nowadays I am a google fan. I think the search result of google is more accurate than yahoo. However, twinengine can be used to know if my site can be searched on the net. -

Getting Approved For Google Adsense The Easy Way
alexthemans replied to risse5's topic in Search Engines
Oops, I am unlucky too as both two applications of my forum to AdSense are rejected. The first one is because my site is under construction (displayed with construction page of the forum system, not the hosting service itself), and the latter is because my site is not at the root of the hosting service. Google staff get stricter now. -
Some simple tips: Always patch your operating system, applications and server package as soon as possible Set-up firewall (at OS or at network devices) with not-too-loose Access Control List More importanly, never use username and dictionary words as your password. A good password should in fairly long length (8 or more characters) and have a mixture in upper case letter, lower case letter, digits and symbols. Install AntiVirus software, anti-malware software, and often update them, to take out as much backdoors as possible More importantly, be cautious of suspicious mail, applications, and system operations triggered by programs (like modifying registry keys). Do not allow them to run before you know what are they.

The myCENT system may let you order "paid" hosting service without charge (remember not to SPAM, or your myCENT may be deducted). If you want to earn more money, you may join in affiliate program like Google AdSense after you build a website.

I have not written any similiar apps yet, but my sense tells me you should use HttpWebRequest and HttpWebResponse objects. You may have a look at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/303436, altough they're written for c#, but the concepts are the same and the code of VB.NET and C# are easily interchanged.

If you are laxy enough and are very familiar in HTML, you may run PHP scripts from the command line. http://us3.php.net/manual/en/features.commandline.php However, I instead test PHP application in a free hosting space.
-
They're right, livepcportal. There is no written PHP scripts fully capable to your needs, you have to write them for yourself. I may provide you a tutorial, http://php.about.com/od/finishedphp1/, for reference. But I do prefer you read the PHP Basics part of that tutorial first. In addition, there is one more tutorial in Xisto, http://forums.xisto.com/topic/7887-php-simple-login-tutorial-learn-how-to-make-a-simple-login/.

Google Translate Sucks Never, EVER rely on it.
alexthemans replied to jaychant's topic in The Internet
As recent translation service/applications lack Artificial Intelligence, do not expect the translation outcome. Your title are right, but I think it can be expanded to: "never rely on ANY translation service or software", at least now. -
If you do know how to install Ubuntu after Vista, you may submit an Tutorial to the Tutorial zone. Although there is already one similar article, I think you may post different one (like install Windows after Linux), preferably with screenshots.

Do You Think Gmail Slower In Future ? I try gmail
alexthemans replied to NuHoaXuLa's topic in The Internet
Gmail servers should run in cluster, and the cluster is fairly easily expandable. In view of hardware performance, you need not to worry too much. -
How Much Space Does Google Have On Their Servers?
alexthemans replied to tariqrf's topic in The Internet
I believe 7GB (and ever increasing) gmail box, and yahoo box with infinite space are just for marketing measurement, and less than 10% (I guess) eat up more than 1GB. Moreover, all google services are cluster-based (means a group of computers joined to do the same thing), including Gmail. -
Byethost is fast enough for me but is inconsistent. Sometimes I cannot connect to the host via web or ftp for 1-2minutes, at least 5 times a day. I really hope this problem is not persistent. In addition, even though its maxmium capacity is 5GB, but the maximum db size is 50MB...damn small.
-
But what is the maxmium optical zoom rate?

Where do you live, for example, USA? Assume you live in USA and XFX GX260XAHBF Black Edition (NewEgg Price: $189.99 and NewEgg China is nearly the same). If you ask your friend to buy it from China, the product price may be cheaper than that in USA. I serached one of the most famous auction site in China, http://www.taobao.com/market/global/index_new.php, the prices vary from $143.35USD/980 RMB (in Guangdong Province) to about $336.28USD/2299 RMB (in Beijing, Shanghai). However, I still recommend you buying cards from USA, as international postal service charge is much expensive than in-state postal service charge, not to mention delivery time.

Laptop Battery Not Charging Why it is so ?
alexthemans replied to puneye's topic in Hardware Workshop
The contact between the charging module of notebook and the contacting plates of battary may not be able to be touched well as usual. You may want to bring both your notebook and battary for a check. -

May I give you a idea please, I suggest you consider subclassing Form or something similar else to capture and then process some Windows messages. You may have a look at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/815774.
