After weeks of utterly frustrating google searching, I have finally given up on finding the game I have been looking for (and finally remembered a good place to ask....... pit I didn't remember earlier lol). It's a game I used to play in Primary School on Mac's (approx 11 or so years ago).I guess you would say it's Christmas themed, but also educational, I can't remember the name or every aspect of it but this is the best I remember it:Your basically a dude in red clothing (not necessarily a santa suit), if i remember right, and the objective is to collect "present" that contain different things on them, but you have to get through certain objectives and as apart of them are snowballs that you see in groups and certain numbers across levels. If memory serves me right, you pretty much had to count them up correctly, or in a certain fashion (kind of a mathematic educational game I suppose).Anyway that's really all I can remember of it, but any help in finding even just the title of the game would be greatly appreciated, it's had me stumped for awhile now.P.S. Not sure if it would help, but another game played alongside this one on the Mac's at my primary school was a Paper Plane game, you basically had to control in some fashion the paper plane to collect things on each screen and get through without hitting objects.

Ahh bummer, I think I know how there doing that. There effectively making up the file format fashion that the PS2 caters too for games. Which means I would need a mod-chip (I have one of those darn new slim PS2's, I couldn't find the older version ).I'm just trying to think (or hopefully find someone that has tried), I don't really see why a Music CD or DVD are really too different, they would more or less contain the same data, the question is whether the PS2 is picky about the type of disc or not lol.

Well I personally grew up from 4 and upwards watching everything from Terminator to"IT" and Chucky, and playing from Alex The Kidd to Mortal Kombat (and even 100 times more violent arcade machine games of the same genre).I went through life just fine without doing anything ridiculous based on a video game or movie. People that want go with it will, and that's there fault. However, I have to myself say that violent video games/movies etc can have bad influences on young children growing up (we all know how vulnerable we are at such young ages when we really don't know that much). But when you reach the stages of adulthood, there really should be no excuse like this even considered period.

Sorry wasn't exactly sure where to put this, I guess this is more asking for knowledge than giving it......Uhh anyway, I want to listen to music while doing my work on PC, however my freelance work at this time can have randomly intruding sound (so I can't really play the songs on my PC, or my work might go belting out with it here and there......).As it stands right now, I don't think I have any CD's left but plenty of DVD-R's, I don't use sound systems (as I have a PC....) but I do have a PS2.I don't suppose it's possible to burn music to DVD as you would a Music CD to play on it? (otherwise I don't think PS2 supports MP3 discs of any type). This is something I haven't though of trying right now and would rather not waste a DVD-R or time for that matter on doing it if I find it's just not possible, so any help is greatly appreciated.Oh wait, I do actually have a DVD player that supports MP3-CD's (not sure about DVD's?, it's an X-Logic) but it hasn't been working very well (been watching DVD's on PC and PS2 usually).

lol, I don't think all wars were fully on the premise of religion, but some certainly used it as an excuse. If these religions teach tolerance of other religions and beliefs..... well just have them take a good look at some in particular, a very BIG conflict of interest there......I don't think it's actually possible to tolerate them all lol.

Well PHP is better....... sure it results in HTML in the end, but it's the pre-processed part of it that makes it so good (you don't have the option of if clauses and such in pure HTML on it's own), maybe that's what they meant?Anyway, we need to have a laugh somewhere along the lines (the smart ones of us) . -
Ahhh, I had implemented that on my forum, it generally works pretty well but it does sometime wrap in an annoying manner.
-
Ahhh so as long as they don't break any of the normal rules?Awesome, it's about time I tryed a new design (unless I get lazy and just modify my current one >_>).

Is It Worth It To Get Gmail ? Is Gmail Good?

While I don't think it's largely better than hotmail and the like for the small scale purpose I use it for, I very much like the GUI and generally how it works, that hotkeys feature they put in ages ago is nice too. -
World's Smallest Website the smallest in the word

Nice idea...... but uhhh I couldn't really see anything to be able to do anything on it.I clicked a bunch of tiny little images in the center of the page but couldn't see how to do anything.I could have sworn I saw some text saying "blog" though, I have no idea how on earth you could fit even half a worthy sentence into that tiny little box. -
I honestly couldn't blame Google for banning people for that. They give a nice amount of space, but it isn't intended for the purpose of those tools I would imagine. It's a nice idea, maybe Google has something in the works already..... hence why.

Yeah that's a bit like me, my work and house maintanence isn't too "do it and do it now" heavy, I can do bits and pieces over a few hours, or work over the course of the whole day (and save my left wrist some pain and strain).
-
I do a bit of Freelance work mainly for now so it's hard to say.But as of right now, probably 2-4 hours per day. And if you include maintaining house while not actively in work, throw that up another 2 hours or so, roughly.

Would be nice to see the posters thoughts on the quotes though..... -
Actually the dictionary comparison fails miserably. There is nothing saying that I should believe what is in the dictionary, have faith in it, or learn it. I do not need to read the entire dictionary to know portions of the english language (who actually claims they know it all? or even discusses it).Do religions have that? Then what use are these bibles to religion? You can't follow with a proper understanding if you haven't, can you? Much like half reading any book or only taking in what you like. But then I don't know anyone who claims to follow the dictionary and or english language or know it fully *shrugs*.

Heck if you have an ADSL modem, as far as I know, chances are you have 2 options of connection, ETHERNET and USB.Simply use ETHERNET in one and USB in the other (USB connected will probably need a driver installed for it).And that's it, my DHCP or w/e automatically assigns my main computer with 10.0.0.2 and my brothers with 10.0.0.1, and we share files all the time through the use of DCC Send in mIRC so I can print out work and stuff for him.

Soundblaster Live! 24-bit External Soundcard What do you think of it?
Chesso replied to jimmy89's topic in Hardware Workshop
Hello, sorry to jack the thread a bit here but I am also interested in getting myself a soundcard (Iv'e always had onboard sound).I'm pretty much looking for something that's a good price (nothing over the top like an X-FI).I also only need it for games and music generally, I also only usually have 2.1 speaker setup (2 small and one sub), though I might consider the use of 5.1/7 etc in the future (for watching my skate movies and such ).I'm Australian (in Sydney) in case anyone knows a good place to go in the area. -
Hello, I love the tutorial (am always on the hunt for interesting photoshop tutorials for my fiance and sometimes I to play around with).A suggestions might be the images, I'm not sure if my connection is a little throttled at the moment, but it seems these images take quite some time to load up.I saved a few to my desktop and used an optimized PNG format and saved roughly 20kb on each image size, going further however I dropped one from 111kb's to roughly 37kb's by converting to a 16 colour GIF without much quality loss at all (still perfectly viewable).Anyway, just letting you know.

He sounds pretty dumb, but to say building an Operating System as far as Windows and Linux is only due to incapability of "amatuers" is going a bit far lol.How many single developers can build an OS, let alone something like Windows or Linux, they both have many, many, many, many, manyyyyyy talented and or well payed contributors. -
Currently I have my main personal site on hosting (chessoscorner.com), but I also have a slight variation of it for my brothers little Gunz clan (chessoscorner.com/shadow_wolves).Is this allright to do? and if so would it be ok to add another small site for my fiance? From what I know, I have never come close to exceeding bandwidth (maybe not even half?), plus the upgrade and I think I'm only still using around 15-25mb of space. So I figure it shouldn't cause problems? Everything I use is custom and done as best as I can, no lumbering forum software or CMS's for general purpose use.

I don't mind the concentrated stuff sometimes in small portions. But the mixed juice stuff doesn't have all the strand crap in it.Uhh anyway where were we lol.
