Well fact is man made bible, so the bible cannot be trusted anymore than your average science fiction novel, it has also been revised many times by man (does no one remember what happens when the same piece of information goes through several ears, it CHANGES).So at the end of the day, you can't even rely on the book, but yourself *shrugs*.

I dunno but everything up until now seems to be more human perception of sight.Regarding a man in chine and a man somewhere else speaking over the phone, of course neither are wrong because time zones are completely and utterly irrelevant. We have a big round planet, that as far as I know revolves around the sun (or the other way around but I doubt it), time is just a way to measure this effect, so is distance, but it isn't absolute. If one chinese man takes a step at 6am and one american man takes a step at the same time relative to our time zones, do they not step at the same time? I would assume so, so time is not relevant, the real difference is merely the position of our planet to the sun at that point. But yeah all you guys would probably know this eh lol.I don't know much beyond this.

Yup pretty basic, in that it removes, well one would hope *unnecessary* white space (sometimes white space can be necessary in-order to function properly). It's probably better to have the *compressed* version online once tested and leave a more editable version offline for future changes and adjustments.

I have been using some cheap generic things ($20-$35 AU), that resemble the playstation and playstation 2 game pads. The $20 is one it's own and the $35 one has two pads attached to the same input cable. After awhile they certainly do brake down but they do last for some time (providing you don't let too many little hands at them lol) and work very well. Not too sure if they have any brand name hmmm.

Major Website Mistakes Improve your site
Chesso replied to BigmanB's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Yup, but when you have a good and easily found reference to begin with, you won't have to suffer through so many of those mistakes. -
That would be on-top of what we already do? (and be a permanent solution), but how to go about doing that? lol.

Soundblaster Live! 24-bit External Soundcard What do you think of it?
Chesso replied to jimmy89's topic in Hardware Workshop
Nah I like the software seperated in this case, it makes things easier and faster for more individual tasks, the software is also very usefull lol.I rarely use bundled software with devices but these are usefull. -
Soundblaster Live! 24-bit External Soundcard What do you think of it?
Chesso replied to jimmy89's topic in Hardware Workshop
Yeah coupled with the speakers (heck even using reasonably old drivers I think and haven't really fine tuned any settings yet), it still sounds incredibly better than before. -

Yeah I got 1 brand new for $60 the other day (purely for convenience). And a set of 2.1ch creative speakers (don't like 5.1/7.1 etc). -
Dread Weapon System Devastating, Jam-Proof, and Silent

The recoil isn't as much of a problem as you think, it's running from electricity (hell even normally) you can counter recoil with equal opposing force I would assume and negating most if not all of the effect on the user.As for not heating up? I think that might be a little optimistic too. -
I don't normally use Windows Media Player as my default player either, I use Media Player Classic and Video Lan Client, however when these 2 fail (and it does happen), Windows Media Player almost always pulls through without a hitch.

Yup even MS Paint can do the job, and although not entirely free I would recommend Ultimate Paint, the free lite version basically doesn't have "all" the fancy filters and what not.Photoshop is very good though, it allows you to do quiteee alot once you know your way around.

Happy Feet! on DVD/HD-DVD/BD-ROM
Chesso replied to xboxrulz1405241485's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Hey any opinions on the movie? I haven't really searched much on it but I have been looking around for something for me and the missus to watch and some of the more popular ones on my list won't be out for a few months yet.Looks to be quite humerous? We watched stuff like Ice Age 2 and what not so yeah , comedy and light humour is always good (coupled with cartoon animation). -
Writing Functions In PHP Turn Your PHP Script Into A Reusable PHP Function
Chesso replied to vujsa's topic in Programming
vujsa sorry to cut in here, but do you have any advice for tutorial layout (and like what is good to build for creation)? My site has somewhat a simple and good enough file layout, just basic tables with minimal information, description and screenshot, but I have never gotten the tutorial aspect off the ground because it's rather annoying to write for and have it displayed nicely. -
Hello, I have been following along with the tutorial here: https://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/platform_game.htm I am basically at the point of having the ball/character fall onto the blocks within the ground/platform movie clip, movie left and right, jump up and down etc. So far this is all very good, except for one very annoying thing lol, which has pretty much halted me from continuing any further (heck I even tried searching google for the lats couple of hours but can't find any relevant hits to my specific case). If anyone has followed this, understands it's method of play and collision detection or has followed this before will more than likely know my problem, which is: When the ball/character jumps/falls onto a block, the collision detection is quite random, sometimes it falls a bit too far above, sometimes exact, sometimes inside (I move the balls movie clip point upward so the crosshair was below the image for somewhat better detection). Does anyone have a solution for this? I know I could create singular platformed objects and test them individually using the old basic co-ordinate checks, but being able to have multiple platforms of the same type all sitting in the same movie clip and all subject to the exact same collision call is extremely usefull and removes alot of bloated code. Any help is greatly appreciated! .

That is right, although I do stress that infants and young children are a bit out of that scope as they don't have the mentality among other things to make truly informed decisions about there behaviour, it's really only there parents who they hang around that can shape there them either bad or good.

Yup you are right, the PS2 plays DVD's out of the box and even the slimline version plays them very well I might add. That is an idea, I think I do have a nero DVD authoring program that could handle this. (thanks for the suggestion I never thought of it).And yes while some can be local, I can keep the work mostly within the browser. It's mostly that sometimes I like to listen to something to uplift my mood and get my sore wrists and fingers moving LOL.

Well I found a few I had played before (Dr Brain and Math Circus) I couldn't find the christmas math type one.
