  1. I got tons of invites, I've had gmail for like 2 years now lol.
  2. I don't see a problem for myspace as a way of staying in contact with friends online that you actually know, but it's the worst place to meet new people (or one of the worst).
  3. Also don't forget young gamers, your graphics card isn't going to speed up your games load times. It's the time your hard disk(s) and cpu(s) take to load that data into memory and make use of it that affects loading times (internet connection can also come into play on multiplayer games).
  4. Yeah I can't object to that lol, everyone should forget god(s) or otherwise and just be plain good .
  5. Ummm, I'm pretty sure nVidia is in the 8 series now no (and has been for awhile)?
  6. So then, how many people follow the bible properly exactly....You know, no smoking, drinking, or man-made anything, cause it's evil and all that.Cheating, sex before marriage, I wonder how any can actualy forfull all of this in the present day hahaha.
  7. Umm didn't his own people want him dead.......So, who the hell cares how it happened, the end result is that he is dead, whether it was hung, shot or had his limbs cut off.
  8. Freewebs definitely sucks, my leaps and bounds even compared to how it once was.I wonder if they finally implemented those features they had listed for *YEARS* lol.
  9. Looking good! It's a pity your PC can't handle anymore, I'm sure there's alot you could have done , very nice work.
  10. I always used explorer in Windows for FTP anyway, either that or umm SmartFTP or something like that (don't use FTP so often).
  11. Programming of multiple users making news posts on a homepage and displaying in a forum, pffft that ain't hard lmao! .
  12. Ok I'll run it through for you as best I can:RPG Maker 2003 has (compared to RPG Maker XP) the most simple and in-built functions for making your RPG's.RPG Maker XP on the other hand removes some of these default basic functions, because it contains a scripting language (it uses Ruby) for adding tons of functionality (way more possibilities compared to RPG Maker 2003), it supports clearer and smoother graphics and of course has many other enhancements and improvements.Game Maker (GM) is a bit like RPG Maker XP, it has many simple built-in drag and drop functions, but it also has a scripting language (that more resembles a real programming language and with some help and references, is easier to use and learn). However Game Maker is alot more flexible in comparison to any RPG Maker and is even less restricted concerning game type, you can even make 3D games (there are some 3D functions) but the maker does focus and probably will for a long time, mostly on 2D.Well I hope that clears it up for you , also the Game Maker site has quite a few sample games to download and modify to show you how it's done in GM and how you can do it, most of them use the drag and drop functions instead of scripting as they are for the noobies. (Such as FPS, Platformer, Arcade Style, RPG Style, Isometric, etc).
  13. Still, time is generally man made.We can't really go back to the year 2000 without completely reverse engieneering everything that happened, I don't see how the planet can live in so many states at the same time, now that would be unstable lol.If you want to argue about a paralel universe in the year 2000..... well I can't argue that lol but it technically wouldn't be time travel .
  14. If that's not our only or main purpose, why is it the most difficult part of us to ignore .We just happen to be a little more advanced in an overall scale than most other species. But the differences aren't that great, or should I say not great enough. Not a good example, but it's like saying the use of a 64-Bit CPU is an entirely different species compared to 32-Bit (and it really isn't *that* different). Were more complex than that of course, but so is other life on this planet (think in proportion) .E.G, most animals have a brain, that functions more or less the same (it's still a brain), many have limbs like ours, mouths, heads, feet, bodies, a heart, they eat, they sleep, grow, many can walk, run, learn, some can even learn to talk like us.Those are just the *I can see it* similarities, I don't know about under the hood.

    Get Things Done?

Point in case.A global solution type will never out do a specific solution type, assuming both were written reasonably well.A global solution may try to tackle problems that you don't need to (inneficiency), or not tackle problems that you do need to (not enough features and support).Or it may just plain not to as good a job handling a particular problem on a large scale than you, I or someone else can on a scale of building it for a more dead-on specific purpose.
  16. And what would you propose if the world was over populated beyond reasonable control, just let it happen?I should think not, come back to reality.(Yes I'm just making a point) :)As they say, you can't really gain without a sacrafice, and if the gain is worth more than the sacrafice, it's usually a straight out yes (good outweighing the bad), but it depends on the situation and what value you put on the comparison.
  17. Wow those are usefull, never though about things like that before lol, but I certainly do now (will have to go and check my site for this). Thanks!
  18. Hey sorry not a programmer (well I am but don't have time to join on-board).But i'd like to say, it's looking nice so far, from the screenshots, nice work!
  19. I do not favour myspace or the majority of any of it's clone sites.MySpace in particular, most definitely needs an overhaul and needs to take more control over user content (so it doesn't brake everything or blow your bandwidth out on one pageload, and also not blast your ears off with what some people may classify as music rofl!).My misses used to use it but hopefully she's out of it now, all she does is get older men from all over trying to chat her up online (what is wrong with these weirdo's lol).
  20. Well i'd say that the EverPower is far better quality in comparison to the generic and has more power, so I either way I'm getting an improvement in both sectors.Seems like a winner for me .
  21. I'm currently using a Generic 400/450watt P4 PSU. When I upgrade some hardware components soon, I'm thinking of getting a better quality one to make sure everything is fine (and I probably should have gotten one ages ago), but I don't have a whole lot to spend on it. Basically what I'm looking to find out is what the equivalent is for a better quality PSU, as iv'e heard say a 350watt antec would beat the pants off a generic 450watter or some such. I am looking at: 350W "Antec" Basiq ATX Power Supply, ATX12V version 2.01 complaint, Dual +12V Ouputs, 80mm fan, SATA connectors, Power Factor Correction which is $53.70 (AU). Or 500W "EverPower" ATX 2.0 VER Power Supply with power cord and SATA cable, TUV, low noise, On/Off, Built-in Emi filter which is $60.70 (AU)
  22. Oh .rar is like .zip yes, it's very widely used.I normally use .ZIP for the ease of everyone but .RAR gives a bit better compression.I haven't had much time to take screenshots lol, I post this around a few Pascal GameDev communities I visit also for feedback. But basically right now it's a demo more or less (one very simple level) until all the core decided aspects are in, and then multiple levels can be done easily (aside from making the level itself ).
  23. It has been updated. Please note that there are some obvious bugs that were not present before, I just don't have time at this very moment to uncomment and re-fix minor values (due to change in player sprite, stuff needs re-adjusting and uncommenting from previous testing).
  24. Oh is it? I didn't even notice lmao, I figured it was one of those file upload things like rapidshare.
  25. Yeah I'm in the middle of increasing the overall window and everything size to 480x480, got a new and well more original sprite that's bigger, so i'm using bigger objects (some).Animated backgrounds eh, that is an idea lol.
