Ahh yeah what I would do is go for a mid-range 7 series, and then see how much you can sell your old one for (or keep it for spare/backup), just to make sure you got something and it's working before kicking the other one off lol.

Hey I like the one with the tekken character (the 2 boys father? something hashi or some such eh).Nice work, and very nice tutorial also .May I suggest editing it and spacing things out or formatting it (like using bold and italics), to help make things stand out and splice it up for easier reading .

But what would he mean by that exactly?Moving so fast you sage slower (somehow) or everything appears slower, cause I can guarentee the human eye cannot see the way it does presently at insane speeds like your probably indicating lol. While right now we can have some third party thing to push us forward quickly, we ourselves cannot come even close to actually moving ourselves that quickly.

Awesome, I'm going to have a good read of that sometime tomorrow perhaps, my missus will find this highly amusing and probably want to try it aswell .
-
Demo, don't rely on the windows task manager for accurate results.Try a third party application for testing.

In the end alot of people will be going for price.HD it is lol.

lmao!!!! that was good, I actually thought this might of been serious......I didn't get the stamp collecting thing though?

It's possible these libraries make use of things that are quite specific to Visual C++.MFC for example is VC specific and cannot be used or passed over to IDE/Compiler combo's like Dev-CPP with MingW.I use Dev-CPP myself for building dynamic link libraries for my Delphi application. The best your really going to be able to do is find library's for Dev-CPP that are similar to the ones you use (you will of course have to take a different approach more than likely). It is possible though that these libraries simply have minor code compatibility problems, but I am not familiar with them so I can't really help with that particular part.Out of curiosity, what sort of errors do you recieve when you try to compile?

Wow can't believe I have missed this topic until now.I haven't had the oppoturnity to real all replies so I don't know if it's still going and we are edging closer to having but it sounds like a really good idea.Kind of a trade for good quality posts for a domain. This might motivate some members to create some nice and complete technical or otherwise tutorials for the forums (maybe even by myself, I have been learning some interesting things in flash while making a little platformer game).

Ouch, I'm a little behind on my freelance work too, but it's only data entry and isn't needed in a hurry (this is like the 9th/10th lot I have done for the same person).Deadlines suck, but I have to say from experience, try not to stay up any later than 12-2am often, or it can make some pretty nasty patterns and sucky sleep routines.

So what you call RvSkin is the theme/language manager for CPanel?I'm just curious as it would be nice to be able to change the default (aswell as the layout, not sure if that can be done?).Could it be a possible feature, or one that can be turned on?

I was aware of an IE TAB extension for firefox but an Opera one. What exactly does the opera extension do?
-
TavoxPeru, lol that's just like me!!!!!As soon as I wake up (or get out of the shower) it's straight on and doesn't come off till 12-2am.Most of it is hobby work and general use, though I do some freelancing (which I am atm but have been behind due to the flu/asthma/allergies, yeah fun lol).I'm a general software and web developer (Object Pascal, Visual Basic, C++, Flash/Actionscript, HTML, XHTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP, mySQL etc), as a habby. What is SOHO?P.S. I feel sorry for you solak that sucks, sleep is the single greatest thing
-
That's a bummer TavoxPeru, luckily for me I don't really need to touch the CPanel at all right this minute sort of thing (I didn't have any issues aside from missing icons though). So fantastico is still bugged eh?What is RvSkin? Is that what changes the theme/layout of CPanel? (I haven't heard of it before).

Flash 8/actionscript 2, Platform Game (little Help).
Chesso replied to Chesso's topic in Programming
Yeah of course, I always have it at 30 FPS.I'm familiar with Object Pascal/DirectX programming so I'm not new to concept such as frames per second, depth, collision detection, enemy AI etc.Mostly just grasping how flash and actionscript goes about things. -

lol so steve irwin got to play more than one character too? that's pretty cool. -
Wow that's pretty darn funny!Would this be the same for coke machines in australia (I'm not sure whether they are really much different than anywhere else), but it would be so funny to change the message(s) on one).Especially the TAFE a few suburbs away from me, I'm sure they'd all get a kick out of it .

Ten Tips To Increase Your Windows Security
Chesso replied to soleimanian's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I would not ncessarily suggest using security suites, you can easily do better by taking manual protection steps without the cost/bloat and possibility of the software doing something you don't want it to without you knowing about it lol (like screwing up). Also either setting up IE very carefully or using an alternate browser (keeping the carefull setup in mind also) is a very good idea. -

Holy crap I didn't even know the voices of half those characters were those people, that's very surprising. So Steve Irwin did this before his unfortunate departure, wow I had no absolutely no idea (are you talking about the character with the outback accent?).Didn't even know robin williams was in it lol, doesn't surprise me that he did 2 voices? -
Yeah I personally don't mind the change of layout either (can that be toggled?).I did notice some things missing, like a direct link to phpMyAdmin but maybe that will return or like some things already mentioned hasn't been fully fixed/installed/done-up etc as of yet?Oh btw this is a rather quick post before bed so I haven't read all replies, but is there anywhere to read up on the specific changes of the cPanel update? probably doesn't affect me but I just like read that sort of thing lol.

Less energy required sure, but just from general life experience, having two things that heat up closer together ends up heating both even worse (closer, the worse). The closer you put wet clothes to a heat source, the faster they dry, but what if you have two items that generate heat through use put closer and closer together. Won't they heat up faster?

You'll have to do the same as everybody else really, start from scratch with something simple and then build it up from there. It is quite possible to build a very complex and stable search engine without the need for ridiculous amounts of space and processing power (to begin with atleast). You just got to make sure you can scale it well afterwards lol.
