Buy.com gave my credit card info to Reservation RewardsReservation Rewards - A Scam!I am sad to say I was a victim of Shopper Discount and Rewards. I check and double check my credit card statement three or four time a month online. So I caught the charge very early. As soon as they posted a pending charge on my account I noticed and here is how it unfolded.I bought a Digital Camera Canon PowerShot A590 IS 8 from Buy.Com. Everything was excellent; transaction, shipping, product, etc. One month later I see a fraudulent charge on my credit card bill, apparently from Shopper Discount and Rewards. I dispute and follow through and it comes out that in trying to get a promised $10 coupon off for my next purchase, I have signed up for membership of Shopper Discount and Rewards. To the best of my knowledge I never did sign up for Shopper Discount and Rewards. I also halted the sign up process as soon as I realized that I have to enroll in something to get the rewards. Meanwhile, there was no mention of a monthly recurring fee. There was no terms of service (TOS) or anything I had to signal agreement. Just the initial step of entering my email and boom I am in. I did not complete the sign up and hence did not receive and discounts or coupons from them.I also did not give Shopper Discount and Rewards my credit card and other information. Apparently Buy.Com is working with Shopper Discount and Rewards or is in collusion with them. The Customer Rep at Shopper Discount and Rewards Stacy with Rep ID 61091 confirmed that my information was received from Buy.Com. I did not and have not authorized Buy.Com to share my personal information with Shopper Discount and Rewards. I now have serious doubts about the credibility of Buy.Com and their respect for their customers.This is the last time I am shopping at Buy.Com and wants everyone to know that they messed up in partnering with a fraudulent company like Shopper Discount and Rewards.Below is the replay from Buy.Com when emailed my complaint to them. Clean install of XP w/ SP3, including latest install of DirectX. Same business - ONLY with the "Battery" visualization does the visualization slow down unless the mouse arrow is over it. With the "Alchemy" and other visualizations it's fine. I did however note that on a Google search, some mouse suite software (ico.Exe) had been mentioned to affect the performance of some programs using DirectX. On my machine, I uninstalled the mouse suite, restarted the machine, and guess what? Still the same issue- going full-screen on the Battery visualization (or even non-full-screen) results in the visualization running slowly and choppily unless you had a mouse arrow over it. It still doesn't happen to the other visualizations. I do have a dedicated graphics card coming in the mail and if I can re-find this thread I'll post whether it fixed the problem. Yeah, I know - why should I be bothered by such a thing when I could just use another visualization, or another player, etc... Well, simply put, I expect things that I pay for to work the way they're supposed to. - And because I love solving problems, I look for answers. Pc vs ConsolePc Vs ConsoleI think it is a personal choice.Those of us who have been using PCs for our gaming needs since the beginning of video game time usually stick behind the PC for the many reasons already mentioned. Consoles are for those who want simple and fast. However, the PC is the ultimate of all worlds with the know how. Hook it up to the tv, you got a media center/console. Hook one of the many available controllers for the PC similar to the console controllers and you get that experience as well. Or just use the actual 360 or PS controllers with an adapter. Emulators give the ability to enjoy the classics as mentioned. The PC will always be the lead in technology cause that is where the technology starts. The mods that are created by freelance modders for PC games are available for free and can sometimes recreate the entire game experience like in Oblivion or Neverwinter Nights. Or can just give the edge like the 50 additional zombie levels created for Call of Duty World At War. So I know you are asking, why then if PC is so great are we even asking which is better? Because like I said, consoles are simple and fast. PC takes that extra step and know how. Which to get the know how, you have to have an interest. PC gaming for most of us is a hobby. How good will you be at any other hobby if you don't enjoy it? I myself own a 360 when I just don't feel like taking that extra step and want to sit down and play right now. But it is hard to compare 3 decades of PC gaming with any one console.The console will become outdated only to need replacing. The PC will adapt. -reply by Jason

Exactly what a sat photographs as it goes over is prioritized, ie Satelite operator may be more interested in highly populated areas to the left of the track than getting yet more pictures of amillion miles of desert with 2 gas pumps and a still, to the right of the track.. If you NEED toPRINT the image of the crap in your back yard at the highest available resolution then your need to pay. I had written a story about a superheroe named Jet Black several years ago, and have since been pondering the idea for a movie. I couldn't really get the story straight so what I did was skip JB and decided to work on the kid. His name is currently in the works, but I am pretty confident that his first name will be Kevin. This story takes place in New York. Kevin is the son of Jhameek Faith Johnson and Chelsea Stanton. Jhameek, whom everybody called J or Faith was the victim of an military government experiment that had been abandoned. This encounter left J "more capable" in every aspect of the word. In other terms, a superbeing. J put his super abilities to good use,though, and became known as the great Jet Black. Unfortunately through some misleading terms the organization known as KING discovered the identity of Jet Black, so begining the downfall of Jet Black. But, even as Jet Black's world came crashing down, there was still one character yet to be noticed. Chelsea had a child named (name is in the works!) Kevin Chance Johnson. The orginization KING had not been aware of the birth of Kevin, at first, but soon found out, and at only two years old, took Kevin from Chelsea. So, Kevin is brought to a research facility somewhere deep in south America. Here he is raised as an ordinary child until the age of 12, when he is transfered to a Research facility in his hometown, New York. Here his training as a killer begins. He is taught all the secrets of a true assassin, and is sculpted into a fearce warrior. But then the dreams begin. He sees visions of a women named Chelsea. She is calling out a name, Faith. He begins to question his existence, his whole purpose in life. KING notices, and decide it is time to cut it's losses but there is only one problem. Kevin, whose name name was changed to RAIDEN, starts to see the company for what it really is. He discovers much through exploration such as the truth behind his own condition and as well as his fathers. He also discovers that his father still lives, being tested on and built into a weapon much like RAIDEN. Fear and rage, as well as the sheer will to get vengance over the company of KING drive RAIDEN to change his outlook on life.
