ACDsee 5.0 will show image files and some flash files as well. Just as (G)philips says, change the larger files to .Flv or even .Vid and then do an "open with" using GOM player and it will play them (VLC does not). In later versions you have to enable: "try to decode files of unknown extensions". To find the folder: Type "about:cache" in the Firefox menu bar and look under the "Disk cache device" (see example below running Ubuntu). A number like 437 is actually pretty good - depending on your school, you will most likely get money in the form of a Pell grant, for example. A student with a number like,say, 3000 will likely even get a bit of money. Just go onto fafsa.Gov and apply. I agree completely with you wua05. NASA is really a great foundation that has provided benefits and will continue to help mankind. I believe that useless entertainment such as American Idol and Pimp my Ride should be removed, but not NASA. For the population that support the removal of NASA, perhaps you should change your target to useless entertainment activities that do very little in supporting mankind in general. NASA is doing a good thing by trying to secure the future of mankind, and I believe others should look at them as a role model. Sure, other problems such as cancer, global warming, and oil consumption are the biggest threat as of now, but its not NASA that people should be pointing the finger at. I believe we need to open up a good book and start studying rather than watching tv. That is much better in my opinion than arguing to take out NASA. Space exploration offers so much possibilities, some of which might actually save mankind in the very end. Remember, the sun wont live forever, and once that goes out, we go out. Hard Drive Freezer trick.Hard Drive Freezer TrickJust received a WD notebook ATA drive with a stuck spindle (sister's bf stepped on her laptop doh!). She had not backed it up like I recommended when I rescued it from a botched Vista SP1 update last time, so she faced losing all of her data. I placed the drive in an aluminum USB enclosure that I picked up from newegg for $15 and popped it into the freezer for ~3 hours.. Bingo-Bango! I'm backing up the data now with no errors. Didn't even have to leave it in the freezer and run the cable out to the counter. Initially, I got the same "spindle is stuck" sound, but a couple of gentle taps on the side (NOT the top or bottom) were enough to unstick it. My opinion: If the drive is toast anyway, why not give it a shot? -reply by Chris T

hazeshow and FirefoxRocks are both right, it was not primarily meant to be used for web pages. It put's ALL of the styles that come with office inside of the HTML document, and a whole bunch of other uneccessary infromation in there because it doesn't know what you want to do with the HTML document. It puts special information that only Office can understand so you can open it again with full editing capbilities (e.G. The title, the author, etc.)If you want a good web edting program, you can find a lot of freeware programs created especially for that purpose. Since Publisher is from Microsoft, I will reccomend another Microsoft product which I, suprisingly, am pleased with.It is called Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express. The correct location mentioned by SUper dude will have a directory called "ObjectStore." In this directory will be a list of MSN Messenger accounts. The next directory to explore is "CustomEmoticons" which houses the smileys. DT2 files should be copied to the desktop & renamed to .Jpg or .Gif to work. Unfortunately, the ID2 files are another matter. Further discussion googled here.

depositsDish Network - Scam Scam Scam! Do Not Trust Them!I used to have Dish. I enjoyed it and it was more reliable and cheaper than the local cable company. and then I moved. I packaged up the converter box as they asked me to do and a local represenative came over and picked it and the remote up and all was well. Six months later they still were having problems with my account as they were still charging me for my monthly charges. When I finally got them to stop that I then asked for my deposit back which they had billed me for $25.00 for. well then they charged my account with out asking me [i had to give them a chg card to get it going] for another $75.00 and told me they had never received the box back. When I sent them in a copy of the receipt for the picked up box they told me that they had never gotten it back and the receipt was a fake. So I got the local represenative to write them a letter explaining it and then I got a letter back telling me that thiscompany had never worked for them even tho they had installed it on my house with Dish's contract . Bottom line Dish owes me $100.00 and I have more than made up for the $100.00 with bad publicity and lost customers so far but they still owe me the money.. Funny thing that the same *BLEEP* that told me to give the box to the local company was the one that told me that the receipt was a fake.
