  1. Windons XP sp3 is being denied to be updated on my computerMy Windows Xp Got Deactivated... Help! Please help me, I am frustrated that my computer keeps telling me I need to install the new updates on my computer. However, Windows XP service pack 3 keeps downloading the programme without any problem, then backs up the system. However, the final step of the installiation is been denied. I have no clue why it is not working. I have an old computer and I have downed registry booster fix, which removed all of the errors from my computer, Windows xp sp3 was the next step to increase the speed of my computer, reducing the error messages etc but I am stuck and clueless of why it's being denied or what I should do next. Please help! -question by Miles
  2. Warcraft AddictionWorld Of Warcraft AddictionI know of warcraft. Funnily enough my friend just recently created a site for people with the addictions to hopefully find assistance and help each other ( http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ). I think that these addictions though are fine if the person is happy with the way life is and are also managing to keep a grip on life while playing. I think the game is obviously built to absorb people into the fantasy world and get them hooked but in the end it's up to the person to get completely sucked in or have it in moderation like everything else. Either way a gamer, one way or another, will probably be spending most of his or her time playing some form of game whether this one or anything else out there. -reply by Aristova
  3. Super old thread, but just need to put in my 2c Pepsi is loaded with protein in the form of.. Acetyl-L-carbo-hydratials. Keep drinking it and see how much you lose... Or gain should I say... to be real.. You should cut out simple sugars, you don't necessarily have to go low carb, but limit your sugar intake and you will see the fat melt away as sugar is just sweet delicious calories that wont do anything but add to your gut. Less sugar = less caloric intake + workouts = loss of fat.

  5. Yeah, Hamtaro!well..., I might not know you guys well BUT Cartoon Network made me really really really angry, too. They just keep cancelling and cacncelling the popular shows, I tried asking them through mails to ask them to return them back and play more of the survivings to treat us but not even a tiny gust was blown back. I'm growing TIRED and TIRED of this... So I propose we (the angry mobs) should join forces and insist Cartoon Network to make them play our obsessed shows back and play more popular shows. -reply by innovativeset

How To Remove Cookies Automatically After Accessing WebsitesHow To Remove Cookies Automatically After Accessing WebsitesSome website remember that you have filled in surveys, and will not let you do them again.Unfortunately, some surveys are meant to be filled out more than once, as once person could be in charge of inputting results from many participants. The "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" option in Tools>Internet Options>Adanced area of IE7 does not work, so it would be good to have some method of deleting ALL temporary files on browser close. -reply by Reasons
  8. I don't really think gay marriage is a good thing because it was made that women and man come together and produce seed but, some people don't believe that way and in the united states I don't think they should have any thing to say about it because it is a free country and people have freedom to do whatever they want to do. But I don't think they should let same sex marry each other I mean people can like each other but they should not let same sex couples get married. Its just sick...Theres no one who can stop it but I wouldnt recommend that happen at any point
  9. Replying to innosiaHad the same thing with a girl in a summer school recently. She was showing what I think is interest in me, teasing and smiling and stuff. Problem is, she has what appears to me to be a boyfriend no doubt about it. She spends most of her time with him, does not even look at me while she's with him. She's even driving him back and forth from school. I didn't trust the situation so I decided to ignore it and not spend too much time around her. Well, next thing I know, I'm running into her here and there at the school without the boyfriend at those times. Not wanting to get tangled up in a situation, I still didn't play. Just said hi to her and that's it. Then next thing I know she's acting mad at me and giving me some grief. Meanwhile, she's still spending all her time with him, still driving him to and from school. What the heck? I guess I just don't get it.-reply by Nosense

  11. no questionGuide To 99 Anything By MeI have one thing to say.. Zack 1135, you are very stupid, how can you say that it is better to cut more xp giving trees, the more xp giving trees are the ones that are very slow to get any logs, and yea, the best tree is teaks in p2p, not willows (unless you are a f2p), this guide is accurate except for the part with firemaking, willows is good (if you aren't rich, and if you have no life with burning about 144k of them) (which also gets very, very, very ,very, very boring) but maples are the best because they don't cost alot of money, and thay are good xp per log. Other than that, this guide is good, P.S. You should make a guide for lower lvls, you should at least not start at level 70 in your guides cause that is unfair for the lower levels you should at least start at 30 then say what is the best way to level up the skills -reply by comment..
  12. I don't think you quite understand PHP bobbybeeelan. For PHP to display pages to web browsers, it needs to be able to send the browser the information that they can understand. This information that is sent so the browser can read it, is the source code and usually is output in HTML, the only thing PHP is hiding is the method it uses to do this. Anything sent to the browser can be seen, it's impossible to hide the source if it's to be seen by a web browser. You can however make it harder for someone to gain your source code, but there should be no need. I don't think those who find this technique of obfuscating their HTML any good at actually writing HTML that would be worthy of keeping secret. You'll just add the extra slow down of having your client decoding it and the wasted bandwidth for an overly larger file now. Cheers, MC

  17. Printing between Mac & PCConnecting To Windows Xp Printer Via LeopardI did this myself just a week ago. My Mac is my host computer but my wife has a Windows laptop. Instead of using the Linksys router, return it if you can and buy an Apple Airport Extreme. If your printer has wireless capabilities, plug the USB cable into the airport extreme. On the PC, download from Apple's website its Bonjour software which allows a PC to detect the presence of a wireless printer. Boom you are done. -reply by Robert

  24. Replying to legacy2007I don't know if anybody reads this blog anymore, but here is my two cents worth ...First: That was so well said Legacy2007 - it's hard to believe that you are only 18 !Thank you for posting you comments. Wisdom and intelligence are contained in your writing. My own comment ?... Nobody today, with any sense or education, would deny the existence of a historical character known as Jesus - the one claimed by some to be the Son of God. To do so shows a distinct lack of education as even educated God-haters know that this Jesus existed. Everyone, however, has the right to hold to any theory they choose about his claims and motives.I would add, though, that if the other participants in this forum are truely confident in their anti-christian stand, then they would have no fears about entering into intelligent dialogue about it rather than pushing these fantasies. A true non-believer does not need any excuses - they simply don't believe in the Jesus as preached by christians, but they don't make up crap like the comments in this forum. This kind of make believe exists to enable someone to hide their FEAR of facing a powerful God - of any kind.If you don't believe - thats O.K., it's your choice - but please don't denegrate your own intelligence by spouting such baloney.
  25. My fiancee has been job hunting for a year and a half. We both were laid off around the same time in Jan. 2008. He is a convicted felon and I am not. After sending out countless resumes for the both of us I landed a job at the university in March 2008. It is now May 2009 and he is still out of work and we are both applying for jobs for him. This has been so hard on us both. His background is warehouse labor and he is a certified forklift operator. He has an interview Monday with an agency we will see how it turns out. If it doesn't pan out I told him to go back to school and let the government pay for it. Btw, I had his RAP sheet pulled because I wanted to see his arrests and convictions. He has one felony conviction out of state in 1995 and a misdemeanor in state, both are drug possession convictions. He also has quite a few arrests but no convictions. We don't lie on his applications with the price of gas and one income no need to make blank trips. If a company wants to interview after going over his application then that's a plus they know already. I haven't given up on him just our society. In the bible no sin is greater than the other and when you are trying to get a job no felony conviction is greater than the other. I have read some of these forums and for some people to sit back and comment that a convicted felon should never get a job or keep them in jail for life. I only have to say I hope you never find yourself in their situation. Just because you have never been arrested doesn't mean you aren't a criminal. You were probably the fortunate one to never have been caught. Sit back and take a long look at your past and your present then ask yourself, Am I a criminal? To all the convicted felons past and present don't give up on your job search eventually that door will open for you. -reply by somewhere in florida
