I don't think that the end of the world is going to happen because of God. If it happens then it happens only because of us. In the whole of the Web of Life we are the only ones killing other species for fun and to enhance our wardrobe(fur) and not helping.I mean first we destroy half the world with Wars, pollution, deforestation and then we teach our kids to say that this is all God's doing. I feel really bad for that person called God. I have heard so many people say that what ever that happens in the world is all God's doing. YEAH RIGHT, god never told anyone to have wars it is us who thought/misinterpreted his words.I think we should stop blaming everyone but us for what is happening and what will happen to the world. Besides why are we picking up useless points from our Holy books rather than points like "love thy neighbor" or "Thou shall not kill" I mean we kill drink, dope, abuse and then we believe that if we make a confession or go to church/Holy place then God is going to take us into heaven. I think we have already planned the Earth's destruction and I think like linekill has put a good point i.e we are not the only creatures that exist. Scientists have already predicted that after the "End of the World" a.k.a Ice age there are gonna be birds and reptiles and the only mammals that are gonna be present are apes and marine creatures. I think we should stop being self-centered and focus on improving on the present condition rather than worry about some prediction

Hmmmm.....What would I do if I knew I was gonna die today/ tomorrow? I guess I would talk to my parents and let them know all the things that I never told them. Spend more time with my pets and then go to work as usual. Meet the same friends that I meet everyday. Maybe read a book I could not.I would like one special thing at the end of the day , I would just want to sleep with my boyfriend and pets until I died. I know that it would be a very difficult time for my guy but It would give me joy that the last thing I had was my guy and my animals. If try to do all kinds of things before I die then I would regret not meeting my friends, working i.e I would miss the normal things. I would probably put up an announcement on Xisto before I die though

Hi,I voted Yes but like the other members have pointed out..The cloning is just a temporary solution. It still does not solve the problem of poaching the and destruction of their homes. I mean people are still gonna poach the turtles and we cant exactly clone hundreds of turtles in a week and besides the turtles might be kept in a zoo or a special shelter for their own safety or for testing and further cloning so the zoos/shelters are gonna get over crowded :DAnother good point mentioned is the genetics part of the cloning process. We can clone the turtle but the genetics are something we cant control yet so you might end up a result where chances of the baby is quite less so they might want to kill it. Also specific turtles are chosen for the cloning i.e they are selected by looking at the past so again there is a chance of the clone getting a disease that was maybe dormant/hidden in the parents.The idea of a clone is really good but you have to think about the habitat, nutrition and health of the turtles. Like salamagkero mentioned there would be protests from many animal groups on the ethics of cloning so even that flaw has to be smoothened. They should clone the turtle but not for saving the species for it is a complicated and expensive process but for studies of genetics in turtles until they find a way to balance out the whole thing perfectly

The text message thing just proves that she either didn't want to hurt you or was scared and just wanted to leave you without any fights :DTough luck mate and I know you are sad right now so I won't offer any advice as clearly you are not looking for advice but just a place to vent out and I respect that I was in your place when I broke up with my boy friend who I was dating for more than 3 years..he was too bossy and always making me do things that he wanted I got out of that relationship.Like the others I am happy that you guys did not have a baby especially an infant for the child would have been stuck between you and your ex wife's egos I have seen one of my friends go through that and It was a mental task for her to get out of her depression. My parents were going to split but because of me they stuck together ( I was a minor then. They are still together )Well Best of luck and I think you should have a bachelor party and make your decisions a bit better next time. I hope you find your perfect girl. I agree with you linekill but It is so weird that for so many years people have been polluting and destroying the world and now all of a sudden when you realize that the world is really being tortured, they start playing a more effective role in trying to save the EarthIt is good that at least the people are trying to help but they don't realize that there is going to be some sort of permanent damage. I mean think about it in the future all that children are gonna know of animals are when we take them to a zoo or somebody's house, it hurts to think of that kind of a future :DBut now that people are embracing the truth more I guess we have a chance after all. If only people left their ego behind and picked up the trash after themselves

Hi,I know how it feels to be in your place. My mom too has a boyfriend even though she is married and all. At first when I found out I was 12 and confused for she had a pretty horrible time with my dad so I guess I torn between the fact that she had a miserable time and deserved a break and the fact that she was lying to my dad and giving a thrid person more priority. But still isn't she supposed to take my dad for better or worse? Anyway in the middle of my teenage when I was 15 or 16 I was completely neglected by my parents as my dad didn't care and my mom was busy with her new life. I don't regret that period though for I became quite independent but Yeah I had some hate for my parents then.It doesn't happen only in America but happens everywhere in the world. I do not mind if your mom is divorced or a widow for then she does deserve that break and should live a life but you never mentioned whether she is married or not.It must be weird for you to see a guy of your own age with your mom but let her know that you are there behind her even if you don't like it, Don't be too harsh on her for then you will be forcing her to make a choice which might not go right.Take care and try to understand her situation. Don't get angry rather talk it out with her gently

Hmmmm...The thing about the Blue Ray is that there is still some time before it gets popular and cost friendly. I dont doubt that Blue Rays are gonna be popular but they wont be popular with common people, more like people who need to transfer a lot of data at one shot.I would still use DVD's though and it has a lot of space so I guess one Blue Ray would be sufficient What I think is that a Blue Ray and a DVD will both survive and it will take a heck lot of time before they get popular.

I have acted in every single play in school..I remember being Cinderella in my 5th grade and I jad to kiss my partner and at the end of the scene he ended up kissing his own hand rather than mine and I was his partner for sleeping beauty and Romeo and Juliet We had a lot of fun until we changed schools. I had acted in a sort of musical in my 8th and 9th grade and our group won the first prize for the school. It was great. Somehow I preferred Debates and Quiz Competitions over Plays but loved both the arts

Hi,I find Spongebob hilarious...Used to hate him at first and could not bear the sight of him but later I found him funny for some reason. Patrick makes me want to slap him really hard.My mom used to hate him too until I tied her up and made her watch a few episodes with me and now she too joins me when she watches that. Again it is hilarious and Gary reminds me of my own cat.

Hey,I have had those kind of dreams though and when I used to wake up I used to feel paralyzed for a few seconds and then get back to normal and get up. I remember once where I dreamt that my dog had died and I remember crying in my sleep and muttering my pet's name, my mom was right next to me and she was worried. It was hilarious after I got up.I realized I had that dream because the previous day I had spent the whole day worrying about my dog as she was sick with a sudden fever.But it is all in the brain on why we have such kind of dreams. All our hopes and fears are translated into messages by the brain which are shown like a picture in our minds when we are sleeping. Sometimes our mind fools us so much that the body too responds in the way as in the dream like in my case the crying and in others screaming, sweating etc.

Hi, Why are you so superficial and bothered about some cheap lads? I don't understand the fact that if you know that the guys are cheap and not good then there is no use ranting about it. I mean it happens in school so you should be ignoring them, But if you are at fault then that is another issue, maybe the way you behave, talk or dress might want to make those guys feel you up or something. Think about it carefully and try to see where you might be going wrong for there's no reason a guy would unnecessarily want to molest you unless you are blond, heavy chested, acting like a bimbo. A guy however cheap will "attack" a girl who fits in his profile of Easy Target They might think you are available because of your external appearance. Try changing your attire and sense of behavior for that can be a reason that you are attracting such weird kind of elements. I am sorry if I was a bit rough with you Cheers

Hi, I actually agree with Tetraca but even Jimmy's point is a good one so I too am confused and I think key logging can be done but maybe a person who uses a lot of softwares or is a programmer or something might realize the warning signs but maybe a person who uses a computer for just basics internet uses or is not that knowledgeable with computers might not realize that his information is being sent. My keyboard's from Microsoft so I don't think I need to worry but people selling shady keyboards are a problem Yeah I can agree with you Plenoptic and it is recommended that you buy from a company you know and one that has a good reputation.

Hi,I know what kind of a problem you might be facing and I too go through the same every year for I have 2 cats and 2 dogs so the trouble increases even more.But I never give them the sedatives for I have found the best way to keep them happy. I close the windows and the doors to my place and all the 5 of us sleep in my room. I rent a movie for the day and then watch it with them. Every time they get scared I just hug them or let them sleep on my lap or something. It works great. It used to be a bit difficult with my German shepherd as he was so big but he learnt to adjust.So at that time of the year I usually let my cats sleep on my lap and the dogs sleep on my side. See if that works or you can sedate them but remember that when you sedate them they get really scared for they are so sluggish and cant understand what is going on at first so keep your pet with you until it relaxes completely.
