  1. Hi Ahsan, Wow, sorry about the problem... I think I should be accountable for this mistake and not xisto since I was unable to run the Mycent script for quite a while.. (Diseases, bed rest and what not) I ran the script the instant Yordan Pm ed me and your site is back up... As for the lack of response from support, can you please give me the ticket id? Sometimes, the tickets are assorted incorrectly which means that the right person is unable to see the request... I am sure you understand that these things happen sometimes Sorry about the problems... Hope it didn't cause too much of a pain for you.
  2. From what has been going on.. I have been reading quite a few complaints about Xbox.. And most of the communities I monitor seem to be taking Sony's (PS4) side so far... Here is a pretty funny image about the different "sharing" policies Sony & Microsoft employ Sharing a game on PS4 ---
  3. How are you doing?

  4. **sighs** Seeing all the youngsters growing up and getting their hearts broken is so very normal yet so very painful .. One of my youngest sisters has gone ahead and had her heart broken very terribly... Dearest darling, My darling, where do I begin? I write to you because I know it is still premature to be speaking about your broken heart. But time waits for nothing, not even for kindness, so I write to you with the intent of retaining a piece of me for you to hold onto when the time is right. It seems like forever since you showed me the shattered pieces of your heart. You asked me with an aching soul & tear filled eyes "Why?" , a question I cannot answer for you; a question I have asked myself many times. Seeing you shattered dear pea was a terrible thing. I felt undone as I held you close to me, repeatedly telling your disbelieving mind you'd persevere. You questioned my comfort and rejected my compassion, I felt your pain, my little bird, I did not mean to patronize.. I wish I could show you my own heart, how it has been glued all over so many times before. Instead I held you in silence feeling your sobs until you could sob no more. Sparrow, do you remember me holding you tightly against me? At those moments, I'd hope you could hear my heart beating for you... I'd hope in stony silence that you'd live for me if not for him. I watched you sleep, sitting by your side ready to help whether you asked or not. I've lost count over the time I peeked into the box filled with all the pieces of your heart and all the love in the world. There were times, I lost my patience; I know you were hurt when I bared my teeth at you like the rest but little girl, I assure you my dear that it wasn't out of anger. My frustration lay in the fact that I could still see you bloom without your sun, even when you did not. Darling sister, I remember the day you lost your sun, watching you wilt and waste yourself as you pined for your sun. in your darkest moments, I'd see you holding your heart filled box tempted to throw it in the ocean. I would sit angry for I could still see your sun rise and set for all that he loved. I fumed over the fact that he failed to fight for the one that loved him the most. I wished at those times for a chance, a chance that would allow me to destroy him, show him the despair and misery he has grown in you. My body trembled with rage seeing his callousness, I will not lie, I was tempted to show you my displeasure, convince you that he was not worth your love or your forgiveness. But it isn't easy to pick sides... I can feel his pain at times, understand that he didn't mean to betray you on purpose. I know he still loves you and hopes that you'd find happiness. I can see that he is sorry about hurting you my dearest but he does not see what I see. He is saved from seeing you wilt, seeing your daily struggle despite your brave front and hollow smiles. You act as if a huge weight has been lifted off you but I see you numb. I see how bitter you have become after you lost faith in love. I can see your empty eyes, opening your mouth to speak only to shut yourself from the world... Seeing your shattered heart, I am tempted to glue it back for you so that you'd allow beauty back in your life, Release all those boxed emotions. But I stop myself knowing that this is your process, you take your time, my little babe, you know your heart best. I will fight for you when he didn't. Live for you even if he won't. No misery or suffering can drown you because I will rescue you each time. I know how hard your path back to happiness it, you have me through all your aches, fears and tears. I have been where you are, and as alone as I was, you will never be alone. I will be there by your side whether you still hold a torch for him or decide to move on. Until the day you need me no more, I will be your guiding light, your confidante and your loving sister.

  6. Now Now... We all appreciate everything you do for the forums OpaQue, no need to feel blue.. In any case, I think we can close this topic since the issue has been resolved and everyone is once more earning their Mycents Topic is resolved. Please PM any moderator to continue this discussion. Until then, this topic is closed.
  7. Unfortunately for everyone involved, the XBOX one has tremendous pressure put on its little shoulders. I've been reading about how many are not happy about the Xbox One's looks or the fact that they don't believe Microsoft's promises, promises about enhanced performance and functionality considering the "problematic" history of the predecessor "Xbox 360" The only way I can see Xbox one beating Playstation is through marketing. Considering how popular Play Station is, I am not sure how Xbox One will fare... Personally I wouldn't buy Xbox one unless I saw the console doing well in action
  8. So, did you ever go out and try your new chompers at a restaurant?
  9. Hey Starscream Good to see you here again mate Off topic, Stackoverflow lately seems to have 2 types of people in masses, the idiots & the entitled... I tried getting help only to be shunned by the "smart" people there... Don't get me wrong, some have been really helpful but mostly, if you pose a L1 question, you might get shafted >_> Coming to your question... I am probably going to be useless since I don't know what you are working with.. But I hope you have already referred to the guide given here :- https://www.owasp.org/index.php/XSS_%28Cross_Site_Scripting%29_Prevention_Cheat_Sheet http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://joshduck.com/blog/2008/04/05/securing-your-php-code-xss/ If these are rehashed links, please ignore.. You could add more to this topic by sharing what you know about XSS
  10. Every day in the news, you hear of some species on the brink of extinction or a species that has been officially named "Extinct" (The Formosan Clouded Leopard was the latest to be added to the list). Every announcement leaves me asking the same question "How will our species end?" My personal belief is that our extinction could happen due to a severe modification in the current ecosystem / web of life. Every ecosystem depends on each component as every component in an ecosystem has a specific role in the sustenance of all species. Basically, for any ecosystem to work like a well oiled machine, all parts need to be intact. Extinction of species is uncontrollable since it has been proven that species go extinct with or without our intervention. However, we cannot deny upon Man's role in the extinction of a devastatingly large amount of flora (plants) & fauna (animals). Mankind according to me will end the same way every other species did, a negative change in the environment creating problems in living, food & procreation . Those who believe in Man living here forever are also welcome on the condition that you back it up with a proper reasoning.. Don't just add "Man will live forever because he is at the top of the food chain"
  11. An update : The script is still down but OpaQue has nearly finished it.. And if any one notices the forums being faster, blame it on magic
  12. The upgrades usually are invisible since they mainly update the back end and patch any security flaws.. But they also come with many new features in them, however any new feature included has to be configured by the admin. The main thing everyone must remember about the upgrades is that the code is often changed by the developer so OpaQue has to update his code according to the new one, this process takes time. A MyCent run was done recently so members might have received a little credit but the script is not yet in full motion so please stay seated and post as much as you can
  13. I never had children of my own for several reasons, but having had taken care of several nieces / nephews and cousins it is very easy to understand why Parents do what they do. From teen-hood to adulthood we make many decisions, accepting the consequences that come along with it. The bad decisions really stick to us and all we want is for no loved one to go through what we go through. Parents push their children either for their own gains & future or because they believe that a certain career will give their child the best in the world. Say, growing up in our time, we might see doctors and engineers make the most money while the younger generation sees the Internet industry earn more than medical professionals. It is really understandable, suppose your parent grew up as a simple clerk at a bank, he isn't going to win prizes or respect or admiration or even a raise. He goes through life underpaid and unappreciated, he sees the doctors , bank managers & PhD holders in the family get everything... So, he is determined to set things right through his kid... Make sure his child never goes through what he went through irregardless of whether the child is capable of achieving the parent's dream or not. Really sad if you think of it, humans are the only ones gifted with individuality and we waste it in the name of petty things. I don't plan on having children, but if I do end up taking care of children (I dream of one day opening a nursery school for tots) I would answer all their questions for them, the decision is for them to take but I would ensure they had no doubts or fear of the result. -- OFF TOPIC -- Many years ago, a little niece of mine found out that I smoke (I do not smoke or drink in front of younglings)... She really looks up to me so she attempted to get a nicotine habit of her own... Now, I did not want her parents involved since they would not understand her reasons and would react harshly (they are very overprotective and orthodox). I remember taking my niece out for a walk and explaining to her that I had no authority over her body but I did have a responsibility to keep her prepared about the consequences... The problems and limitations smoking brings.. I was very lucky to have such a smart niece She never picked up a cigarette after that day. My extended family has several little ones who are burdened with the fear of the future, their parents worry about how their children will survive in this terrible economy so I often see my siblings , nieces , nephews and grand children pushing their kids a lot hoping that they'll pick up multiple strengths thereby increasing their chances in the future. At the brink of my teenage years, my parents realized that I could not be pushed so they let me float my way, I doubt you have many parents like them, I could have been a garbage collector and they would still be proud of me.. As long as I am able to take care of myself and my own family, it does not matter since the rest will fall in place.

    Now What?

Well, now that your website is back to normal and everyone seems to have received the notice.. I am closing this topic as it has been resolved
  15. The funny thing about teeth is that you can lose them because you have bad genes in your family , you forget to take care of them, you take care of them too well (too much hygiene can also ruin your teeth) OR you take every chance you get in having them knocked out. As a kid, I had a few kids fall on me, the front tooth chipped and a new one grew from underneath it, the two front teeth are now permanently crooked, not too bad but pretty noticeable. While in a fight with a fellow child, I almost had my teeth ripped out.. I was biting him and he yanked his arm away... While running with my dog in the yard, I slammed against a wooden plank... I look back and thank my teeth for not leaving me. As for the stitches bit, yeah, I can take them without anesthesia as long as the doctor allows it.. One of the patients in the clinic, a really bad mannered dog bit my hand, the dorsal side (top of your hand) had 3 holes in them... And we continued treatment, My colleagues thought I was made of nails & bricks until we went in for a routine dental check up.. I made a huge fuss going in and getting my teeth cleaned, I was happy to leave that chair... ICE CREAM!!! I love Ice Cream, I remember being rewarded very handsomely by my Aunt... After her new teeth were fitted in, she always had ice cream in her refrigerator, and every time I'd visit her, she'd give me at least 2... We'd sit in her patio reading ice cream reading books. One of the older gentleman in my family had an incident during dinner.. His dentures fell into his plate as the waiter was picking it up.. I was really young and was told by my mother that eating junk food always results in your teeth falling out... It did not help that my uncle told me that they were his "REAL" teeth.. I was scared of eating junk food for days before my uncle explained how dentures worked...
  16. Barely has any time passed since the violent bomb blast at Boston that we face yet another act of violence. At a Mother's Day Parade in New Orleans, "Gunmen" opened fire on dozens of people participating in a very innocent parade. More than 19 people were wounded, so far no deaths have been reported and a reward of $ 10,000 has been reserved for any one who can produce substantial leads on the case. "Not an act of terrorism" is the verdict passed, this is based on the fact that New Orleans has a tremendously high crime rate as compared to other states in the U.S. Source: Various News websites.

    Now What?

Hi Sheepdog, I am sorry about the problem caused... Did you receive a notice from xisto recently? If not, what has happened is that the nameserver ips that xisto uses has been changed to new ones, customers have already been emailed about it. The change normally does not affect accounts BUT sometimes an account here and there suffers a roll back. All your data is safe, it is simply a DNS issue. OpaQue & I are working on the issue and this should be resolved soon. If any member faces such an issue, please contact support, they will update all of you once the network has been updated As for your invoice, if it has been paid, you don't have to do anything more. Mycents usually work in the way you described, if your account has enough MyCent, it will automatically get added to any newly generated invoice.
  18. In an ideal world, I am sure this is how things are done, I for one organize my HDD in a particular way, there are individual drives for personal photos / videos , work & general media. The rest go into a separate drive where games and other hodge podge stew together. You, I or many other members on this forum might know how to work around our computers but there are still many people who have absolutely no clue on how to work their computer let alone perform advanced tasks. My mother bought her first laptop a few years ago and the computer shop which is a fairly well known company in our state gave her a computer with only ONE DRIVE! .. They also give you a copy of the Operating system in case you ever need it, NOT in a cd but in the SAME DRIVE! Now imagine, the same computer store serving other such customers spreading its vile disease of incorrect structure.. A multi state disease of corporate laziness... I don't care whether they didn't have a tech on board , giving a system with only one drive is stupid. Of course my parents saw no wrong since to them, the laptop works and isn't that the whole point? ... My dad keeps installing bloatware from unknown regions of the internet which bogs the system down. My cousin has a nasty habit of storing all her software in the C: drive which I am not personally comfortable with. As for passwords, bookmarks and history.. I do not store any in my browser. I keep them all memorized... How barbaric! I know but I prefer keeping sensitive data on a place where I can keep them safe, I might sound very prudish but I don't like any applications that require me to store my data on their servers. Earlier, I had a habit of using Evernote for all my articles because I could write up anything on my mobile/ tablet and then simply continue work from home / work since all I needed to do was sign into my account but now I use my own wordpress site to store my written work. But being human is to be a hypocrite, and like any dutiful hypocrite I do the very opposite of what I preach by storing my images on Picasa and nuggets of wealth in form of email attachments Even if a person compromises on the clean install bit, listing your software is still the most important bit. Your current workstation is the result of constant trial and error, I know it is for me, I might have tried 10 different applications before sticking to one. And it is even more important for someone who has not BUILT their computer. I don't think my mother has the original CD to the hardware drivers on her new laptop, and she sure as hell is not equipped technically to find the numbers on her own. In another article, I mentioned how I had to reload the OS for 3 different machines because some dude my parents "hired" (picked off the streets more like) botched it. My parents had no idea what their machine was except for the fact that it said "Hp" and had "intel inside" .... Windows 7 might install all the necessary drivers but your motherboard drivers need to be added first, no hardware drivers = no internet, no internet = midnight thumb twiddling. And when Mother tells me that she has no cds that could help me, I twiddled my thumbs faster... One of the machines had no CD ROM but she had the CD... I can write a movie on that one weekend alone. Getting them to explain which software they had installed was even more painful because to novice users, all software comes magically from the computer or better still, the person who has more computer knowledge to themselves. A clean install to me is like thoroughly cleaning your garage, throw away junk, wipe the shelves clean and fix things that you left pending for ages. Updating / Upgrading is as good as making space for new things. But this is only my own personal opinion. From the very beginning, I had issues with the Windows OS upgrade, It might be convenient to have only C formatted and your old os boxed without touching the other drives but why would I want my old os boxed any way? As for the other drives, you might probably have the habit of installing things on drives other than C.. Software once uninstalled from these drives leave goat poo pellets everywhere. Pellets that require plenty of sweeping... If not pellets left behind by software, then there is always the clutter we create ourselves with duplicates and files in wrong locations. At the end of the day, everyone has a way or method of managing their machines, it depends on time and user level.. My guide was simply a detailed checklist to make sure you don't finish the process and realize that there are many things missing or malfunctioning.
  19. A day or two ago, our forums were upgraded I am yet to get complete information on what exactly has been changed but just to confirm, the upgrade as usual will not affect your account here or the MyCENTS you earn from your posts. With every upgrade comes the random bug here and there, everyone is working on it including OpaQue and the Xisto - Support team. But if you come across any bugs, please send an email :- help (at) xisto (dot) com 1. A screenshot of the error 2. The link where you are seeing the error MODULES THAT HAVE TO BE RECONFIGURED / TWEAKED 1. Shoutbox 2. BBCODES 3. Gallery / IMAGE GALLERY ANOTHER IMPORTANT UPDATE
  20. As you all might be aware, the forums were recently upgraded. With each upgrade comes a change in things which means that OpaQue has to make his script work according to the changes. The recent upgrade has a lot of changes that OpaQue has to tackle which means that running the MyCent system will not be practical, earnings could be inaccurate. Therefore, before y'all wonder why you aren't earning, I am putting up this notice. Those who have their due dates coming up soon (within the next 3-4 days) please email help at xisto . com or PM me your domain name / billing email address. Once the mycent system is back, all your posts since the last run will be calculated and your invoices will be adjusted
  21. HA HA HA Good ole English Ale, look forward to it Mrdee.. As for the word, I did not want it to be bleeped out which is why I used the format of f*g . I did not want people wondering what cuss word I was referring to. I get a lot of strife for calling my cigarettes the same.. My (very) liberal cousin who stays in a very prominent Bible belt (U.S) almost smacked me once when she heard the word, took a lot of coaxing to make her understand what I was referring to... Back to the topic, you should watch the video I have linked... You will be ashamed of humanity as a whole because of how "stubborn" these people are about their version of the truth.
  22. Yeah, I find it sad that people will often store data in the boot drive. Since my article talks about using the backup tool which basically creates an image of your drives, what it would do is restore the drive as it is. Which means that people would have to simply sort their files before the backup. However, if someone does make the mistake of adding everything in the C drive. You always have the option of using a software like AOMEI Partition Assistant . This is mainly for people who need a simple visual editor for managing their drives. Shrink, merge, format, clone, and delete drives.
  23. Aye, we'll make it a double date then, I get my partner, you get yours.. On a serious note, have you actually watched any Bollywood movies at all?

  25. I remember 15 years ago escorting my Aunt when she was to get her dentures.... She was terrified so I went along with her.. i went as far as getting my mouth's impression done... It is so weird a process :/ And like you, she had to have all her teeth removed.... Me and my Aunt share the same dislike of dentists, we are capable of getting stitches without anesthesia YET we hate the teeth cleaning process... The sounds, the smells , the taste, the after effects.. bleh And to sit there watching my Aunt get all her teeth removed, I think I went home and almost brushed my teeth away Up to this day, I try all I can to keep my teeth from disappearing. Your story is giving me nightmares because bad teeth is a tradition in my family, hopefully you can get some sleep, my Aunt used to use some sort of cream on her gums initially, has your doctor prescribed anything?
