Seriously when it comes to cartoon i don't care which format it comes. Anime/manga anything is fine. Anime:> japenese animes rock. provided that they're not dubs. i always prefer subs over dub version. dub version are exaggerated with translation sometimes. and they make anime experience stale. Comics/Manga:> They're always better no matter if they're colored or not. colored versions are not always available with all mangas. but they rock anyway. many comics and mangas are not available for anime and in manga format they totally rocked. So coming back to point, no need for comparison. Anime/manga rock. US based toons are boring though these days cause of lot of useless titles like (ed edd n edy type poor plot cartoons).

I completely agree with baniboy on this one. We all are using Kontera to earn from forums in similar way. If any visitor or member clicks on the kontera ads we all are getting paid based on the turn system made by Vbulletin Mod. It is really interesting thing to keep each other have their paycheck. Advertising system is considered as bad by many people. but they do help us have some money in one way or the other atleast on the internet. And there are plenty of internet millionaire earning using blogs, forums or other ways. All this is possible because of ads. either google or other ad networks, internet is alive because of ads. otherwise we all know how hard it is to run the network/site/forums/blog using donation/product based site. So clicking ads is not that bad things. just make sure that you're not clicking on your own sites ads.

It depends on the type of community you're building. and how much money you're willing to pay for it. Cause if you're on short of money and as you're aware of the point that it is hard to earn from forum advertising. it is best option to stick with free forum software. PhpBB is pretty famous and easy to setup. Themes and mods are sufficient enough for building community around. Support on their official forum is also good. Simple machine forums, is the one i've chosen for my forum. because it has all the features and professional looking themes are available. i was member of one forum which was running smf. so mods of those forums helped me smooth out the learning curve. if you have choice between phpbb and smf then i suggest you to go with smf cause you'll find it easier than phpbb. Mybb, this one is also easy to install and use but lacks some of the features i wanted in forum. themes are also good. PunBB, it is no-nonsense, easy to install, fast and simple looking forum. if i have to choose any other than smf i'll go for punbb for it's simplicity and ease of use. electronboard, i only heard about it but never used it for testing. if anyone tried this post about it. i want to know if this forum have professional themes and theme clubs available or not.

Yes, i do click on google ads if they're relevant to the search query. sometimes i have found better sites from the sponsored links of google. i got result of good book shop near my place from which i can book in few hours. i wasn't aware of this site and service but because of google sponsored results i found that.another experience is sometimes some results and sponsored links are simply crap. they don't link to the worthy sites at all. i mean if sometimes you're bored and do some random google query and surf the sponsored link. it could turn out to be useless site, affilate blog etc.so these days i have decided to use the Firefox's ad-block extension. i don't want to wast my time on such waste sites.

There are plenty of pay per impression based networks. But some have very strict criteria for letting publishers in. Like some publisher strictly wants 10k pageviews/day or 10k page views/month. And some can't accept the form registration if you fill it up from the gmail/yahoo/live.com email addresses. They want their publishers to have their own domain email address(perhaps to avoid low level publishers).Other than that, if publisher is found to create traffic by illegal means(bot,paid incentives) then such networks ban account immediately. I viewed this site on 3.0.10 Firefox. CSS and the links were scattered in page. One title in marque at the top was mixed with another news title. If possible make it ticker at the top by reducing size of font.This site had issue with font when i viewed it on another computer. anyway,you need to test this with the old browsers atleast IE 6. also take a look at the images placed at the top of page. I suggest you to take a look at the some of the designs from oswd and other free open source templates. Overall this design needs lots of tuning. BTW, you checked it with HTML/CSS validation ? if not, try to validate it so to minimize some issues.keep it up with design. Have fun.

Picoodle is also good option and servers are quite fast. Other than that, mediafire and tinypic are worth to look out. Imageshack is hands down if you didn't get much hits on your pic it gets deleted. and account also needs to be accessed periodically. i found my account inactive after 4 months for not logging in. Images were deleted from it, and as it is free service there is no point in complaining about it. Photobucket is not suitable for forum/blog image posting.

It depends on ISP. but Cable is found to be very effective in most of the areas. as DSL uses telephone line the contention and other geographic repeater limitation needs to be taken into account. i tried both types of connections and i found cable a better option than ADSL. Some ISP do offer faster DSL in some areas but by avoiding repeaters they achieve this efficiency. so this is not possible in every case. hence if you've choice to choose between the cable and DSL. then check the customers of that ISP nearby your area and then decide which one is good and suits your requirement. also if you need to download lot of data then settle for the unlimited plans. and don't go by those ads like 2mbps, 4mbps connection cause most of the time if they are not offering unlimited data usage in plans their upload/download quota is restriction is there.

EyeOS is web based application than operating system. Besides to call operating system it has to interact with hardware. For EyeOS it's way through browser->OS-> Hardware hence it can't be termed as true operating system.Such web based applications are useful to store image, media files and to work with office alternative applications. BTW, Openoffice and some clones of it are available as online service. So you can use openoffice on browser. Not sure about speed and performance of the service,but still worth a try. Other than EyeOS, there are some other services like g.host.it and some other eyeOS type clones are available free of cost with 1GB free space. for additional disk space you've to purchase membership etc type plans. Now that we're talking about microsoft, they're in this market as well. When they lauched Microsoft office service to compete with google docs. they made their cloud computing plans. Five point someone book is nicely written. Something that happens in college life. Most of the engineering colleges. Some good things that i found interesting : Hostel and dorm room life. Bunking lectures, and falling in love with girl. :XD: Quite normal and happens with most of the guys and girls in engineering college. Very few stories succeed and almost every story started like this fails. Anyway, coming back to the topic, book is nicely written. Good for one read. I willn't re-read it in leisure time. But i must say "Three mistakes of my life " book by chetan bhagat is much better than this "Five point someone". "One night at call center " book was also good but i don't understand what made it such hype and it is going to be movie on that ?

My experience with the xisto is good. Sometimes it takes some time to get support for the query. But yes, response is always excellent and most of the time solves problem. My website gets into trouble during weekend (*i've no idea how it get screwed up) and even on weekends opaque or some other support person do solve it. Last time when i had problem with my cpanel (it was saturday if i remember correctly) opaque replied to ticket and i started working with cpanel again.I'm satisfied with the support. Let's just hope it gets faster. Though i wish chat option should be resurrected now. It was fast than those support ticket. Let's see if comes back soon.

I suggest you to use WP-Super-Cache for your website. and if you wish to produce simmilar result, study the plugin on your own machine and try to understand the code. I'll try to answer your queries. if you've more questions feel free o ask. it is asking for your website means you're opening your publisher account with them for your site and hence you get publisher ID for which you'll get paid. cause they can't generate multiple publisher id for Xisto users for the case of revenue sharing mod of forum. and ads are rotated randomly for publisher ID's hence we don't know who's account will be credited for the clicks. it's not like adsense cause it more focused on keywords in content that open us hover-ad. which is not the case of adsense. and kontera and adsense both wants you to open separate account with website name cause they run advertising program and are not affiliated with Xisto for this program. Xisto simply runs "revenue sharing mod" on ipb hence we get paid when our kontera ad is displayed.

Yes you need a site. blog on blogger is fine. or you can point to your Xisto site if created or else open blog on wordpress/blogger. and give link. without website your application will not be processed. another query of your was about how much they pay? that is based on keywords. and how much clicks you get when turn of your Publisher ID comes when revenue sharing Mod starts rotating Publisher ID's. Even Xisto allows me to share revenue based with kontera program. so this thing is common between both the forums. I must say Digital point is loaded with excellent SEO and web dev resource. Register your site at http://amobee.com/ then copy your publisher ID . and post it in revenue sharing program setting in your settings of profile. after entering publisher ID. you'll see ads on Xisto pages when yuo view it in guest mode(or when no-logged in)to be precise. If you want to get notified about topics, replies then you can get help of RSS feeds. and use that feed from Adobe AIR application to view online and login only when you wish to. this way it will save your scrolling time.but i have no idea if there is any feed for current online users etc. you've to check site manually to view something like that. My opinion is to create simple app using adobe air or you can use firefox plugin for that. but i think AIR app for Xisto only will make this project a better and interesting. all you've to do is read the feed using reader in air app. and your purpose for the application is served. create tabs for that AIR app and use it to accomplish some of your features. let me know what you think.

Paylpal and some other payment processors do restrict their services in some countries. If you can't create paypal then try, 2Checkout, alertpay, egold, google checkout. Alertpay and google checkout are likely to work with you. as those companies don't restrict themselves to any country. So that is your chance if paypal is not letting you do the sign up. besides google checkout and alertpay is accepted in stores/sites where credit card transactions are accepted. Hope this helps.

Correction jay. Gmail accounts do expire. i logged into my gmail account after year and i found out that it is no longer active. even if i tried to create new account with same name it is not letting me do that. and it is quite obvious that they shutted down registration of the ID as well with that name. but gmail accounts do expire. also if anyone is using orkut and found to do abuse or in legal case or in similar gotcha situation. then they even delete your orkut/gmail{google acount}} from their server. for which they not even give single warning for that. we've seen one case on orkut related to that. so in short google is watching. You checked the top bar of your mail box? it shows the ads relevant to your email headers, right? and they even kept ads on right hand sidebar when you open mail. so how is ad abscent? they do disable it sometimes but ads by no means are abscent. and they designed interface in such manner that that keeps professional look as well as ads in it are tolerated by users.
