  2. On this corner we have the Microsoft's Xbox 360 and.............. on this corner we have the Sony Playstation 3. These 2 will be fighting head to head today right here. Let the fight begin! Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 are two of the leading gaming platforms out there. The gaming power of these are quite alike even though Xbox 360 was made around 2005 while the ps3 was made around 2006. Lets see what is really better out of these 2.Specifications of the Xbox 360.1. Custom IBM PowerPC-based CPU - Three symmetrical cores running at 3.2 GHz each, two hardware threads per core, that is six hardware threads total. 1 MB L2 cache.2. CPU Game Math Performance - 9.6 billion dot product operations per second. 10 MB of embedded DRAM..3. Custom ATI Graphics Processor - 512 MB of 700 MHz GDDR3 RAM. 48 billion shader operations per second.4. Memory Bandwidth - 22.4 GB/s memory interface bus bandwidth, 256 GB/s memory bandwidth to EDRAM, 21.6 GB/s front-side bus.5. All games supported at 16:9, 720p, 1080i and 1080p, with anti-aliasing.Now lets see PS3 Specs.1. PowerPC-base Core - 3.2GHz, 512KB L2 cache .2. GPU - RSX 550MHz.3. Memory - 256MB XDR Main RAM 3.2GHz, 256MB GDDR3 VRAM 700MHz.4. System bandwidth - Main RAM 25.6GB/s, VRAM 22.4GB/s, RSX 20GB/s (write) + 15GB/s (read), SB 2.5GB/s (write) + 2.5GB/s (read).5. Screen size - 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p When it comes to processing power PS3 has the edge over the Xbox since PS3 has a 51 billion dot product operations per second, while the Xbox only has 33.6. billion. PS3 supports Blue Ray and a typical Blue Ray disc can hold 55GB while the Xbox dual layer dvds can only hold about 9GB.When it comes to graphics many believe that the Xbox has better graphics but according to gamespot we can see that in the PS3 texture resolutions are higher than the Xbox. Nut when it comes to lighting Xbox seems much better. But some say that for the Xbox games cannot be any better than now, and that it has shown it's full power in today's games. But the PS3 needs better games to display it's full power and for now only 40% (not sure) is shown. They say that the PS3 can handle much more than the Xbox.Well this is what I can dig up on this discussion. What console do you guys think is going to win this fight? :XD:

  4. Dude, Do not sit and stare at your computer for longer than 45 -55 minutes. After every 50 minutes take a break for about 5 minutes. It won't be good for your eyes if you do your 100 posts in 1 go without taking any breaks. What doctors tells us to do if we work in front of the screen for a long time, is that you must take breaks after about 1 hour. Focus your eyes at something faraway like a distant tree, out of your window.
  5. Go with full format. I think it's better. Because like when you delete a file from the recycle bin, that is what happens when you quick format. The files on your hard drive are there but the hard drive just give the permission for the files to be overwritten. But a full format erases all the files. So a full format is always better.
  6. Nokia Xpressmusic for the WIN!!!!I have a Nokia 5320 Xpressmusic and I LOVE it.See, It has 128Mb of RAM, has a 369MHz processor and it has the Symbian 9.3 OS.It's camera is 2 Mega Pixel. Screen size is 2 inches diagonally and it's resolution is 320x280. It's music quality is awesome due to the separate dedicated music chip it has. It supports MP3, AAC, WMA audio formats and it even has a 3.5mm headphone jack!!!! So you can plug in your favorite headphone rather than using a low quality phone headset. It also has dedicated music keys on it's side.It supports N-Gage gaming. That is one of the main reasons I bought it. It is kind of like a P3 Computer considering the ram and processor speed.Duke Nukem 3D, which is one of the first First person shooting games works in it.The internal memory of it is 140MB and it supports micro memory cards up to 8GB.It has 3G and HSDPA.What more do I want??? Nokia 5320 xpressmusic is a total entertainment phone.
  7. That my friend is determination! You must be a fountain of novel ideas to do a 100 non spammish posts in 2 days.I wish you best of luck comrade :XD: . I should try this one time.
  8. Well if you install the second OS to another drive I don't think it will be a problem. I used to run Windows 98 and Windows Xp before on different drives and I experienced no problem. But be sure to use the never OS's system tools if you are ever going to use them.
  9. Take a look at this. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Hope it helps
  10. wow. never licked gulping down a lot of water.
  11. One time some of my parents friends came to our place for lunch without telling us before. So we had to quickly whip up a meal for them. My mom told me to boil some eggs. So I put 4 eggs in a bowl and half filled it water and then I put it in the MICROWAVE. Never knew what would happen. So I switched it on and went away. Then I heard some weird noises coming from my oven and i took a look and it was horrible. The eggs have blown up inside the microwave and only one egg remained un-cracked.Mom saw the whole mess, but did not panic a lot. Finally I took the shell of the boiled egg and then served it to the guests. One guy just took the egg and started to cut it in to two. It blew up at his face covering him with egg parts!!!!!!I lived through it though.
  12. lol. You have to fry it for a bit of time like 5 minutes with very little heat!
  13. I believe in aliens if that was the question. But UFOs seen near our skies are quite hard to grasp. There are millions of millions of other galaxies apart from ours. There HAS to be other life forms in these galaxies as well. To think human beings and the earthlings to be the only life forms in space is ..... quite... lonely isn't it? But that does not mean they are any smarter or dumber than us. If these creatures actually can move about in and through galaxies they must be a lot advanced than us. What dumb need can actually drive these advance race of creatures to just wisp our skies at night and crop weird circles in our farms, seems absurd. :XD: If they wanted to have communication with our world they could jolly well land somewhere and meet our people. They need not fear anything because they must be much more advanced than us.And there can also exist the possibility of them existing but they may not be as advanced as us. That being said, we can be sure of aliens not visiting us at night, simply because even we cannot cross galaxies. But they might have taken another route of evolution suiting their home planet that could vary a lot from earth. That way they could have developed in a completely different way, granting them the power of crossing galaxies or at least planets. But again why would they just whisk our skies at night time and not really show up? As for people who claimed they have seen UFOs can be telling the truth. They are just saying that they saw something which they cannot explain in the sky. It could be a set of lights, or a round disc. That doesn't implement that aliens has to be behind this. It could be a scientific phenomenon or a top secret military operation. All I am saying is that if aliens were so advanced as to cross galaxies and planets, they would have contacted earth a long time ago than just fly their ships around our skies.
  14. On this day, May 18th 2009, Sri Lanka stands as one Proud and Free Nation. The terrorists organization haunting our island has been defeated. After 30 years Sri Lanka is yet again free from the massacres of the LTTE. Take a look at this. Sri Lanka Official Defence Map :XD: Yup, that marks the end of it all.
  15. The term sinusitis refers to an inflammation of the mucous membranes located within and lining the nasal sinus cavities. The sinuses themselves are essentially open areas of space within the head, the full function and purpose of which are not entirely understood by modern medical scientists, though it is known that the sinuses are important in the exchange of air, particularly, as it relates to warming of inhaled air. This inflammation, commonly, is caused by bacterial infection though it can be caused by other things as well (e.g., the common cold, allergy, chemical sensitivity, etc.) I too suffer from Sinusitis and It is a major pain in the #@$ for me because in the evening when I sit down to study, I get them. I have tried a lot of doctors but there does not seem to be any real cure for this. Some common symptoms of sinusitis include: -Headache oftentimes severe -The feeling of pressure over facial areas situated at or over the sinuses -Facial pain at areas situated over or near the sinuses -Congested nasal passages -Runny nose with thick, discolored discharge -Post-nasal drip -Tension in neck or upper back -Congested ears -Earache -The feeling of being "drained" -Increased irritability -Restlessness In most cases, acute sinusitis develops from a cold or flu-like illness. In some cases, bacteria 'add-on' to an infection that started with a virus. This can make the infection worse and last longer. As for a remedy what I do is inhale steam for about a week. Then the mucus loosens up and comes out through my nose. Applying VIX Vapo Rub and stuff just doesn't seem to work long term. What I wanted to know was whether any one here at Xisto has this and if anyone do what are the remedies you guys have taken against this???? Irrigating or spraying the nose with salt water-such as with saline nasal sprays that are purchased in the pharmacy without prescription-is useful for cleaning mucous out of the nasal passages and relieving nasal congestion. The whole process is simple, comfortable and quick. With proper use of an inexpensive device called a Neti Pot, it is possible to irrigate the sinus cavities. When a strong salt-water solution is used, the sinuses are stimulated to expel mucous that is trapped and stagnating. This results in a "runny nose" that may last for 10 or 15 minutes, after which the sinuses are relatively empty with less material to drain out and cause postnasal drip. In addition, germs tend to breed in this mucous, so the less mucous there is, the less likely it is that you will get a sinus infection. After you do it once or twice, it should require no more than a few minutes to complete an irrigation from start to finish. One or 2 minutes a day spent performing nasal irrigation is often more effective than weeks and weeks of antibiotics, decongestants, and cortisone nasal sprays, and has none of the side effects of these medications. Even if you do require medications or surgery, the improved cleanliness of the sinuses makes it more likely that these treatments will be effective. But this method of cure is frightening. :XD: take a look at it here. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ What do you guys do to clear your sinuses?????
