How many of you are using Adsense at ur site? Post Comments
mahesh2k replied to ravi's topic in Search Engines
Google adsense is doing for me. Adbrite is good as well, but very few advertisers are registered with them. if you arent accepted to adsense then adbrite, yahoo publisher ndtwork will work fine for you. Chitika isnt worth to pick up, instead try widgetbucks.alternate ad-networks are adify, sidebarads and adpinion. -
I remember my senior friend in college used to say "there are no free lunches in life". and that is true. everything we do and wished for is in anyway needs to b paid for. we don't have single thing in life that is free. Even love, friendship and every relationship tag comes up with the payment of commitment/greed/selfishness and so on. there is nothing free in life.Even Xisto takes our time and money so nothing is completely free. it's just the perspective of us to look at things as less-paid or highly paid. there is nothing like "free". it's just another buzzword used by marketing gurus to attract customers. Wish we can have at least peace of mind free. but even that comes with the cost of time and sacrificing few things in schedule. so at the end there is nothing that is free in life.

Cashcrate is listed as poor mmo system. very few systems pay for clicking ads, most of them are frauds and they're favourable to only advertisers for getting traffic. for example, buxto never paid to its members since last 2 months.try gptboycott website for genuine websites.

You Have Run Out Of Space For Your Gmail Account
mahesh2k replied to serverph's topic in The Internet
Interesting. As i'm not even crossed 2% of my gmail quota. I was thinking if anyone else tried to overcome atleast 50% of it. And this is the thread which showed me what happens when you run out of disk quota .Now you have to either delete those old mails or else purchase disk space . By the way, How much SPAM mail, xx mail and lottery mail you saved so far . -
Man Hacks Into Government Searching For Ufos
mahesh2k replied to Plenoptic's topic in General Discussion
He he! Funny. I don't understand how people fall for crop-circles and UFO stories. If those UFO and aliens would have been real then it might be tempting to have conversation in private with them. Now don't say some government have private connections with aliens because of their fastest research. :)Sometime news sites like yahoo, help us have some humor for a while -
I'm die-hard fan of google notebook. and they stopped the service . i wish they can continue with hosting noteboook atleast for few years. But let's see what they've planned for it. I guess Google notebook was most used product simmilar to google reader. Google notebook had one firefox plugin which was deactivated by team, as that plugin was not official and was increasing load on server. In meantime i found alternative to this service as "Yahoo Notepad". it is not as better as google notebook and also it is pain to search multiple notes as list gets increasing. So if you wish to switch to alternatives then "Evernote" is good option. Or you can stick to yahoo notepad.

1. How often do you defrag your hard disk? Once in month. 2. Which program do you use to perform this task? I use Piriform "Defragler" for the task. 3. Do you think that is important to keep your hard disk in top shape, or you just leave it to make its hard way of fiding yours fragmented files unsure.gif ? Yes. It is good practice to keep things arranged isn't it? Try defraggler it is good utility and in fact it is free. The performance is much better than the standard windows defragmenter and it also shows graphics for the degragment activity. Which is similar to the windows 98 os's standard defragmenter. Try downloading defraggler from this site: /defraggler

There are few paid online blogging jobs that you can do to earn part time income. Sites like today, helium and mahalo pay you for writing article/blogs on their network. You can try elance, limeworks, rentacoder,99design and digitalpoint for freelance work. check the client's reputation and the capacity to pay before taking project. cause many clients later fail to pay and they double-cross with some tactics. Also if you're consulting for SEO/Design/ Writing then do get in touch with Pro-lancers in the field. know some ways to get paychecks regularly from clients. It's hard these days to get good client, many clients simply puts the freelancer into trouble.

Few years back i used service called PCpitstop and now there are plenty of such services. You can try "internet connection speed test" keyword on google for sites. Speedtest is at the first rank in results. which is i guess preety accurate. you can even use small utilities for the connection check. i found one utility earlier that used to checks connection speed, incoming and outgoing bytes. if you know any popular such utility then do post about it here.

Some good file explorers are : Director Opus, XYplorer, Freecommander and From this XYplorer is available as PRO and Free edition. You can do fine work with the free edition. if you want to go for more power features then you can choose PRO edition. Freecommander, is also good file manager replacement. But the interface is bit sqwaky and dated. you can try it as well and tell us what you think is better between xyplorer and freecommander.Other alternatives are Cubic explorer and Universal explorer, AB commander. And if you can spend some money say 59$ then you can opt-in for the directory opus.

For newbies,This is called as Information contention. and it is haunting you cause you're interested in too many topics. Narrow down your focus and concentrate on only one topic at time, and if that category is less discussed then move to another topic where topic is discussed actively. And your suggestion for keep it simple and accessible does makes sense. But imagine the members increasing everyday so every topic that is created could lead to many sub-topics and hence if any discussion gets off-topic then once can prefer the thread where he can specifically write/read based on the topic. So sub-threads do make sense here. It's just that you need to get used to forums. My suggestion is spend some time on forums, get to know other members. then understand how to get what you want out of topic. How much you can spend on forums and how that reflects your mycents earning. again even this reply may sound like contention to you . So try to keep things simple in big-forum, narrow your focus to specific threads and then move to more threads.

Does The Logic Plan ( Plan 1 ) Support Php/mysql?
mahesh2k replied to gummybear's topic in Web Hosting Support
Yes. Logic Plan and logic PLAN pro supports PHP and MySQL. But have no idea if the database limitation is of 5 tables as rvalklass said in post above. There is tutorial on the internet about trasnfering from wordpress.org to custom host/domain, so you can check that as well. I'm waiting for other replies on the point of database limitations. -
Nice move from adsense, the problem is those who wish to earn with adsense and are serious will suffer. But on the other hand you can expect scraper sites will not be there for long. and obviously rate at which they're created will be slowed down. One more thing is they introduced many new feature like interest based ads on adsense, which you can access in your adsense settings. You've to update your policies for that as per adsense mail. But at the end, i say it is good move from adsense. I appreciate it. Let's hope less scraper/splog sites on web and hope internet becomes better informational place.

Introducing Opera! The Fastest Web Browser On Earth! as they say..
mahesh2k replied to braitt's topic in The Internet
Truefusion I agree with this. Cause Chatzilla on and if you try to surf arround with heavy content sites then that slows you down. This feature looks cool. Have to check this out. By the way i've problem with Opera Mini on my 2 mobiles that when ever i click on some links in any website page. Opera instead of redirecting just simply reloads and not redirects. Is that Bug or something else? -
Introducing Opera! The Fastest Web Browser On Earth! as they say..
mahesh2k replied to braitt's topic in The Internet
Nope, you checked chrome for svg and flash rendering?check it and tell me the results, It's interesting you know. You'll find Chrome faster for these two points. you can even read those results online. if you google it. Mozzila i already told you that i agree. But Opera hands down, i don't think even hackers pay attention to such browser. Besides, Mozzila with lot of add-ons and scripttools is way better than opera. -
@AshAgree. You know this websol company is damn fraud. They even post fake job ads in job borads. They collect student/fresher data and sell it to other companies and earn profit out of it.I don't know how many fake sites and domain names they own. But such companies need to taken care very offensively. More People need to know about such companies.

Introducing Opera! The Fastest Web Browser On Earth! as they say..
mahesh2k replied to braitt's topic in The Internet
I have seen few issues of flash and svg on opera, so how can it be fastest? Mozilla being better at handling these have few issues. again Chrome hangs in between opera and mozzila. I found chrome faster for some specific websites, opera bit slower and mozzila same as opera.I can see mozzila as better browser that deserves to stick to consumer desktop. Opera Mini, which is the most popular browser for the mobile users has few issues of loading pages repeatedly. As same page is reloaded then this irritates others. So on that point Opera is still faster? -
@Pasten Putting Xisto for every user application on kontera will not work and application might get denied. and again you've to put the your own website's address and not Xisto address. I've traffic of 10 visitors on my blogspot site so i posted that link in my kontera application. and my application is accepted over there. there are no issues of traffic. but yes my site confirms with the TOS of kontera, it's not scraper site or any site that violates terms. so such sites have no trouble with kontera. if you try to game them then they'llstop your payment and can deny your account. So create genuine website and post worthy content(Keep internet alive this way). and i think that way, you'll get better traffic and no advertiser will deny you for whatso ever reason.
