  1. I believe that two-thirds of all charities do what they say. There are some, like the Red Cross, that help a few people, take some pictures, and run. They barely helped when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. They also had to be sued to give the widows of 9/11 the money they were owed. I believe that the smaller charities are the ones that are doing the work they claim to do.
  2. Its an interesting idea, but it sounds too expensive for the average person to buy. Remember, 50% of the United States population is under the poverty level.
  3. I used to have a blog, but I stopped writing in it because of the lack of responses. Perhaps I only wanted to get attention so since it didn't work, I stopped. :S
  4. Supposedly, they are finding new ways of making games better so they release a game system. Not too many years ago, I could afford a brand new system. Now that its getting so ridiculously high priced, I have to wait until the next system comes out to buy the past one. I've heard that the PlayStation 3 made companies lose money, and that they'll get their money back by game sales. (Not likely since the assortment is not well made. Where did all of the role playing games go?) That has to be a lie, since no company will lose large amounts of money to get new money.
  5. Perhaps we're living in a game where we decide what we do but not what happens to us. Don't you wonder why no one can find a formula to figure out the lotto numbers? Why do there seem to be so many coincidences? What decides who gets kidnapped, shot, and killed while other people never see that kind of violence in their lives? Most of all, why would the creator of this game answer our questions? It would probably take the fun away from him / her if we could talk to him / her? And who's to say we wont get punished for asking questions? Maybe we may get rewarded?
  6. Since I prefer to concentrate on the content of my website, I've chosen to use Namo WebEditor 6. Its expensive, somewhere around $600, but its worth it if you don't know how to program a website or make graphics for it. This program comes with around 100 templates stored. The styles vary from cherry blossoms to many business styles. The problem is if you've never used a program this complicated before. I'm still figuring out what half of the options are for!
  7. I don't know if they are similar, but Namo WebEditor 6 could possibly be a good replacement for Dreamweaver.
  8. Its the rapture! God has taken the bees away! :lol:Is there a possibility someone is killing the bees or stealing them for no reason? Its strange to see bees dissapearing. Maybe nature is trying to starve us so that we stop taking the homes of so many creatures?
  9. Google.com will probably be the most-used search engine for many years. Their website is not as cluttered as sites like Yahoo! and MSN. They also have the ability to do other searches like for images and books. Plus, Google is a name that flows from the mind onto the address bar. Its easier to remember.
  10. I'm pretty sure that trans fat and hydrogenated oils are both unhealthy. According to an article in Wikipedia.org, trans fats that comre from hydrogenated oils are more unhealthy than ones that occur naturally. Not only that, some trans fats come from plant oils. More information is listed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans_fat
  11. Show your friend how much he/she means to you by taking him/her out someplace that he/she likes. Sometimes people think of committing suicide because they feel unloved. Has this person suffered any form of trauma? (The loss of a boy/girlfriend can be a big cause. Being told that s/he is ugly can cause this too.)
  12. I'm not a fan of any kind of wresting. I always thought it was a male soap opera (like Star Trek). Plus, I couldn't deal with the violence even if it may be fake.
  13. This is the most amazing free offer I have ever seen. I will be working around an hour a day to get the credits for a domain name. If more people saw this, they would be post more often. Perhaps we'll see a large increase in posts very soon.Thank you for this offer and I hope I'll be one of the first to take advantage of it. I have wondered what the rest of you will get out of this.
  14. Some people are either waiting for the atheists to prove God doesn't exist, or a form of Christian to do the other. I wonder how the world will react when the rapture happens? (Assuming it happens how most people believe, people will randomly dissapear. Buses will be without drivers and planes will crash without their pilots.)Some people follow mixed religious beliefs from different religions.
  15. I oppose flaming. It seems you never hear people screaming at you because of your opinion in public. Then, when you go online, you find people hating you just because you dislike something they like or like something they dislike (which is almost the same). I wonder why they're afraid to show who they are?As for bashing newbies, well, I've been on the hurt side. Try playing Kohan: Ahriman's Gift as a female newb. You'll leave after your first 5 games. You may not have thought of this, but the stores that sell printed reproductions of artwork and the companies who sell mass-produced artwork are stealing from artists. If there were no mass-made art, artists would be able to make better money off of their work.
  16. Unless you're really against dating her, you should go to the movies with her. She can't be that bad.
  17. I doubt they mean it this time. I'm betting we'll be at war for 15-20 years or until we get a better president. I wonder why they keep saying things about pulling the troops out? What use is it to lie to US citizens and the world?
  18. I've lost weight by playing Dance Dance Revolution games daily. The problem is when I don't exercise. I end up gaining all of the weight back.Another way is to write a list, over a month of time, that names what foods you like most. Find out which seven are the healthiest and stick to eating those on a schedule. The only problem may lie in budget, since your favorite healthy foods may not be affordable. Also, use stevia as a sugar substitute. Use it to make desserts at home. Avoid eating meat and dairy products as often as you can. Seafood is OK.
  19. Its sad to see "in God we trust" removed from those coins. First the post office and now this. NExt, they'll be asking us to take down our churches.
  20. I hope that if that is the cure, that it will be inexpensive. It would be sad to see only the wealthy people cured of AIDS.
  21. I'm surprised YouTube is the only one being sued. No one has mentioned any of the other countless sites that also use clips without permission. If Viacom does win, YouTube will have to remove all of the videos from its website, and many people wont return. My fiance, for example, checks the site for episodes of shows he hasn't seen. What will happen to the content that is used to make fun of shows and movies? I'm talking about the clips where people talk over the voices to change what they say.
  22. The list is an excuse to cheat within a marriage with permission. Its idiotic in my opinion, Image if your spouse slept with someone in their list and passed that person's STD to you. You'd most likely be horrified.Didn't they say something about a list in Friends recently?
  23. I have no stairs in my home. (Its only an apartment). I recommend that elderly people not live in houses with stairs because of the danger it can cause them. Slip and fall and can't reach the phone to call 911. :S
  24. My favorite stations are CWTV, TVLand, and Lifetime. I chose CWTV because of the Daily Buzz news show. It makes me laugh unlike the other news shows that are on in the morning. TVLand is packed with old shows that have little to no dirty comedy. They have a story and script, unlike many shows made today. Lifetime has The Nanny and Golden Girls. (Their movies are so depressing, though.)
  25. I've always loved soccer. I never knew anyone who did play, but I made a version where I could play against my dog. (I no longer have that dog.)I once liked basketball, but never had anyone who would play with me.
