  1. I don't have a job. I've tried applying, but the biggest problem is that I can't find a list of people that they can "talk to" about me. (What's that list called again?) Since the list has one person, they might think that no one trusts me, or that I've just come out of jail. Not only that, I can't find a place that will hire a student. I really do need a job now! Bills are ourtageously high in Florida. Why wont anyone hire a high school student?
  2. You're not the only one to celebrate month anniversaries. My fiance and I do the same thing. It must be more common than it seems. (Now I'm glad that my anniversary falls on the 20th of every month.)
  3. Who did you have a flour fight with? I recommend that you do that outside next time. You can also bake cookies and then throw them at each other. It'll be less of a mess for you to clean up.Who's going to get mad at you if there's flour everywhere?
  4. More men are overweight and are more likely to eat unhealthy foods more often. This might be why some die faster than women their age.
  5. There's not much you can do. If she's bi, she's bi. If she can talk about it instead of hiding it, good for her. I can't understand why this is a problem for you.
  6. What about the radiation going to other people. Will this be similar to second-hand smoke? Will phonies be banned indoors? Oh, my!
  7. They mean it as a joke. Sometimes it can be funny when a person's birthday is on Feb. 29.
  8. The link doesn't work anymore.I think its great that they handcuffed her. They should have taken her to the jail and have her parents pick her up later. She shouldn't have been put in a cell, though, if they wre thingking about it. Notice from jlhaslip: Dead topic. Closing.
  9. They made a big fuss about the Y2K thing so I'm betting this will be the same. If it is a problem, they will just make some kind of bug-fixing update that will correct it, and nothing will happen. If it was a big enough problem, wouldn't they have said something about this years ago?
  10. It would be nice to have $100,000. It makes me wonder, though, why someone would pay to know a prime number. What use does it have?I once heard the government paid for those large numbers. Hmm, what would they do with it?If you did bring these people a number that you claimed was a 10 million digit prime number, how would they know if you were telling the truth if they can't get it themselves?
  11. The photo isn't showing up. Something about imageshack.us. I guess they took your photo down. Too bad, I wanted to see it.
  12. Happy Women's Day to all. I didn't even know that day existed. So many mystery holidays popping up out of nowhere these days. Do we have to get each other gifts?
  13. The cheapest Vista, with tax, is $391 on a new computer at Best Buy where I live. It comes with the speakers, keyboard, and mouse so you can use your own old monitor (or buy a used one at Goodwill like I did for $8.95).
  14. Aren't there virii that soon become immune to new "cures"? How can we be sure it will work for a long time? I'll be glad if that really is a new and permanent cure but it would have to work for at least 5 years straight before I'd believe it truly was a cure.
  15. I love RPG's too. They're like an interactive story book or movie. Some adventure and puzzle games can be fun, too, but I wont pay big bucks to buy them. I'm not sure what category they fall under, but the Dance Dance Revolution and Pump it Up games are great, too.
  16. I meant that the job isn't bad, its the people who are corrupt and ruin the name of that profession. Also, I said that its no reason to in my opinion, not that you couldn't and I was trying to take away your free speech. The original poster said: And so I said that sometimes a psychiatrist finds out what you are feeling by what you tell them. That's how they figure out what's wrong with a person. Some people are in denial and that makes the psychiatrist's job harder.
  17. Its a difficult choice between Japanese and Mexican. Mexicans have burritos, refried bean dip, and they use a lot of cilantro in their food. The Japanese have sushi which appears to be low in calories and is very filling. If I had to chose, I'd pick the Mexican food since my most favorite meal of all time comes from Mexico.
  18. I feel so alone! IX is my favorite, but don't ask me why. Its the first one I played, even though the first one I saw was VII. I didn't know much about games when VII came out, though.
  19. My fiance tried to install SilkRoadOnline but he gave up since it wouldn't. Our operating system is Windows Vista.Otherwise, I have no idea how the game is.
  20. My fiance studied to be a graphic designer and he can't even get a job in it around here. (I live near Daytona Beach, FL). He's searched everywhere yet everyplace that hires doesn't care if he has a degree or not so they hire anyone. That makes the competition tough since he studied and should get higher pay. But why pay someone big cash when you can get a teenager who's just as good for less than half the standard pay (50,000). I highly recommend to not study something solely because the paycheck is big because you might not even get hired. If you do, you might end up hating your job.
  21. I collect low-cost antiques so that I can sell them when I find the right buyer, and some kinds of art deco jewelery. Mostly, I have books in my house so I can also be considered a book collector.
  22. Me had that unzipping application installed, plus a few other things I can't remember that got me mad since XP didn't have them and neither did 98 or 95. Plus, its just my opinion, and I haven't dealt with 98 much. Also, I've just recently gotten a laptop with 98 and it seems so limited (maybe since its 10 years old) 10 years old meaning the laptop and not the programming
  23. The first thing is that boys and men seem to make it worse. I say "boys" since some guys will not date a girl unless she looks perfect. (Somewhat funny when many of these guys can't get a date in the first place, and then reject the one chance they may have of a date in years.) I was wondering when women would get a turn to say to men "When are you going to shave, get fit, and get your hair done?" Either we both suffer or we end this whole shallow thing within this decade. I hate having to do so much exercise just to stay under a size 8, and keep a pedometer on me at all times.
  24. Cilantro in a taco shell with tomato, white onion, and green pepper pieces with sour cream. I also love sushi, and almost any food from the local chinese buffet or hospital cafeteria. Romaine lettuce with shredded cheddar cheese, ceasar dressing, and chick peas is great too.
  25. My favorite food has to be the skirt steak taco without the steak. Its full of cilantro, tomatoes, white onions, and green peppers cut up. Sour cream is great add-on, but makes it fatty. Sometimes I'll replace the taco shells with these plate-like shells that don't need to be cooked. They save me lots of time.
