Your guestbook works, so that's a good sign @Guang - I hadn't thought of that. It's second nature for me to just click it despite what I upload. That's probably what's gone wrong :/

Did you upload a new index.html file to your public_html folder? Did you upload any other files to that folder? I know Xisto is up because my own site works. Try to upload your file again. Or, upload a test file to the public_html folder. If you can see that file, you know that you're doing the right thing. Also make sure you have the right extension. Make sure that your pages say .html, .htm, .php or whatever ending they're supposed to have. Let me know when you've tried this!

Hahahaha, my parents love to point out that "my grades were not all high A's". My mom especially likes to say that my oldest brother is her favorite. It's rather annoying. And the funny thing is, even though my family's Asian (Indian does count as Asian for all you naysayers), we're composed of some of the biggest slackers on the face of the earth. Talk about irony

Fix the text colors (lighter, I would think) and maybe blend the outline. I think the other colors were more ethereal but these are pretty good as well. Still 8/10 :/

My first creation is clearly a woman. It's easy enough to tell. I've posted this one before, but not in the Photoshop forum so you guys can look over it. A bit of an error on my part - it's actually fully made in Fireworks, which doesn't have as many brushes available to it. Now, this next one I made just today. It was supposed to be a character from my novel-in-progress. I didn't mean to make a human face, nor did I mean to make anything remotely facelike. It started out as a woman but became a man - you can probably tell that I can't draw men and I think I actually ruined it by reverting from the original one I made: (don't you love the comb-over?!) to this one: I absolutely stink at drawing male faces, and in an attempt to make a face more masculine and less "vhat...?", I think I screwed it up by making him look so dorky in the second one. Also, I was experimenting and using one brush with a variety of blurs and opacity changes so that might clarify the style. It looked pretty good when I started out :/ Comments?

Are you sure you uploaded it to the public_html folder? Also, make sure that you're typing in Xisto.com, not tarp17. That might cause a few errors. Going to sader.trap17.com should automatically bring up whatever index page you have in there. Either you made a mistake in naming the file, you uploaded it to a different folder, or you accidently deleted it because all I get is an "under construction" sign that I believe is the default index page.

Purely flash sites don't catch me as cross-browser compatible. Unless the site is well designed, I would avoid trying to do everything in flash. It can cause major navigation flaws. I co-moderate a bad webdesign community, so I've seen my share of flash gone wrong sites. But I recommend anything from "A List Apart". They have some great tutorials, especially for CSS. -
I would recommend using a more spooky font. I </3 Comic Sans :)The background, however, is beautiful and I love the idea of the signature.8/10

Nice! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do -
Yeah, I kind of expected that IE would have tabs. It doesn't make me want to revert to it any more. I <3 Firefox :)But the hotmail doesn't look half bad. It'd certainly be a lot easier to check your mail. Also, quick caveat on the copying from other forums and sites!

Haha, no problem

It's already included with the site in both Fantastico and the add-on scripts. And it's quite awesome

I was in the middle of a very long detailed post about why I hate Dragonball when my computer spontaenously decided,"This is the perfect time to eat my system files! Huzzah!"And that's what happened. This would be why I am sad today

I share an account with my brothers, but they have to log me on. I lost password priveleges when I stayed online all day once. Didn't do anything bad either. My brothers are nazis -
So basically, you're stuck working with design noobs. Poor round You need to show them your skills and make them bow so low to the ground that waste of brainpower is better used to make your shoes shiny.

DBZ was the cheasiest anime I've ever seen. I hated them all simply because most of the episodes were stupid and they had ridiculous fight scenes. ><I also say this about a lot of animes. I like the ones that have plot or humor, but not ones where the main character and his enemy stare at each other with their eyes twitching and sweat dripping off their faces for five minutes. This is only tolerable for about thirty seconds before you're forced to turn the TV off.

Michael, probably. Just to scare away naysayers.

The main thing was that they didn't follow the story OR reveal who wrote the Marauder's Map, a key part of the Potter legacy at Hogwarts. They picked a good actor for Lupin but I imagined him as more straggly, less well groomed. Sirius looked exactly like I'd expected him and Gary Oldman played him well. True, they all would have looked better without facial hair. I never think of any of the children as good actors/actresses because their roles demand so little of them. Lupin was only being paternal to Harry - that involves close contact and reassurance. Besides, when did being gay make you a horrible person?
