Nah, it's ok It was my fault originally

I guess it's very vaguely implied...but ah well. No more hijacking for me now that I know what constitutes hijacking. Night, ya'll.

I generally would stay away from playing any music on your site simply because if you can't turn it off, pause it, or otherwise hide it, it can get annoying Aside from that, the TOS says no MP3s because they technically aren't your property even if you bought the CD. They belong to the artist and the company that produced the record. There are probably ways to get a song from flash. Maybe downloading the file and using Macromedia Flash to break it apart? (I have a theory on this but it doesn't make much sense now). I'm gonna let you wait for a Mod or an Admin for official blah blah. So hang tight and don't pay attention to me. I'm the middle[wo]man in all of this

Oooh, spiffy. I never meant for it to be a hijack though, seeing as very few people read over the posts themselves. Although...no one really clarified what the thread was supposd to be about, so my post was probably valid as well. Gifts for Becca all around was what I supposed it to be. And it'd probably get passed over again if I posted it somewhere else. Posts tend to do that on this forum. It's a bit crappy because I made it in Fireworks and had to paint the textures manually (thank god it has gradients ><) but I was trying to make it lightweight and not utterly ginormous with a little bit of sophistication.I want that guitar so much now

Everyone is unique regardless of how they came about. I believe there are Gods but that they didn't shape us in any manner or form. That's what's up to the rest of the universe. We're very young for a species and there are so many things we can't grasp so we turn to the skies and wonder why we're here. It's obvious. Evolution took its course and we moved on, beginning to walk upright, developing those horrible frontal lobes of the brain, learning to use tools, etc. The formation of everything is rather hard to imagine. What we do know is that there is endless space out there. With all that gray matter of the universe, there's no real room for a heaven. If there were, wouldn't you think that some of the catastrophes that take place every day could be prevented? What about the millions of social problems we have? If there were truly omnipotent beings watching over us, don't you think they would be on the way to eradication? We know that all living things are made up of DNA which are made of bases, base pairs (I would explain more since I'm in a bioengineering program, but I'm too tired), and bonds between the two strands. Since the rock that became the Earth is nonliving, it would have to be found or pushed manually into an orbit around the sun. Therefore, where did the rock come from? Scientists believe that Earth was the chunk of an asteroid and that the moon was part of the debris. Circulation around the sun made it spherical and warmed it along with the general bacteria on the earth. Eventually, water came to the planet, and with water came plants. From these basic things, we built our civilizations. It's hard to imagine it was all so tiny once.I mean, having a deity create a universe and then forget about it seems to be so irrational. Believe what you want to believe - but know that only some things can be proven. Other things are just a matter of chance...or perhaps divine intervention? Also, there are many forms of God, not just Christianity's mental image of it. Just because there are more Christians doesn't mean the rest of the world suddenly lost their religions and converted :PScio means "I know" in Latin. Therefore, science is the pursuit of knowledge through observation and research. Man was not an accident. What was an accident was the formation of the Earth (presumably by asteroid or whatever you want to say) Man himself evolved from the tiny prokaryotes in space to what we are now today. I know Creationists will hate me for saying all that so confidently, but it's what I believe. (I'm responding to the person who said stuff about 10 million letters? words? in a book being an accident) Notice from BuffaloHELP: Refrain from double posting. What System/consol Are You Getting? Systems/Consol
biscuitrat replied to TeamOuT's topic in Computer Gaming
Definitely the Nintendo. I've been a Nintendo fan all my life and I haven't been let down yet so here's to a few more good years with my lovely systems :PI dunno...I've never really wanted a Playstation. Seems to be overdoing it. -
Domain Of Wolves Its an awesome forum
biscuitrat replied to rejected's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Maybe a banner with less blurry text? That's all I have. This forum is pretty easy on the eyes...maybe it needs a little visual oomph if you know what I mean? -
Well, ok, maybe I did. But isn't it just more <3 for Becca? I assumed the thread was just about a "gift for Becca". So there's yours and here's mine. She can have them both. I mean, honestly, is there anything wrong about me making something for Becca? I only made it because you made one and I was inspired. By now, I'm too bored to make another one so enjoy it now.You know, if I could edit my post, I'd probably change the top part. I didn't mean for the whole of Xisto to reply - just the people within the thread itself. Sorry if that was vague. And I didn't truly mean to hijack it. My thinking was "He already posted the image so there can't be much more to the post than Becca saying "Thanks!" and you saying "Aw, it was nothing" so I can just stick this on there." But seriously, are these signatures only from moderators to other moderators? Because that seems a bit silly :/

Done! Here you go, Becca Enjoy

I feel the urge to make sigs now! Look what you all have started! I'm gonna pick names at random and I'll start with Becca because I've talked to her a bit. Lessee now...I'm drawing a blank. Reply to me if you want a signature

I utterly hate the whole thing. It's a poor man's RPG, and I know of people who pay upwards of $50 to buy little pixelated items for it. Think of how many burritos that could buy! Plus, I made a character, signed on, got past the tutorial and quit because it got so boring. My advice? Ditch the game and play World of Warcraft. Play it in front of your friends and raid high level instances (Like Blackwing Lair - WOOTZ). Let them drool all over the carpet if they want - all they have is Runescape

Virtue, The Soul, And Justice Philosophy at its best
biscuitrat replied to gunbound's topic in General Discussion
I'm enlightened. I hope we go over that in Latin 3/4 when we do Prose and talk about Philosophers. I'm gonna go eat dinner now. But it's so interesting to read through. And it's actually intelligent, compared to some of the things I've read today (not on this site ><).Adios! -
I can understand that, kind of. I'm a natural skeptic and I've spent a lot of time wondering about different religions. I want to ask so many questions to people but I'm afraid of being ignored, yelled at, or otherwise annoyed at the concept of there being falsehoods to the Bible, or the existence of numerous Gods (my religion, Hinduism, firmly believs this)To those of you reading, PLEASE don't convert this into one of those controversial "GOD" posts. A few of us participated openly on the last one to come around, and while it was a lot of fun, this post should not invite posts about that discussion. Forget my reply now and go read Cerb's poem. It's really quite good.

Oooh - I like it! The best part is probably the contradicting part of it. Tres bien! Man, I tried writing something like this a while back. I ended up with about 100 pages of novel that I'm never going to do anything with ><

Diablo Ii: Lord Of Destruction Just to hear peoples thoughts
biscuitrat replied to dundun2007's topic in Computer Gaming
Actually, the WHOLE thing is pretty much an RPG. I played it for about 2 years (yes, I played it when I was around 10 or 11 - explains something, doesn't it? ) Then again, I grew up with Blizzard so it seemed pretty much to be the norm. My 77 Amazon, RatoftheSouth (don't ask) along with her many mules and storage characters died while I was on vacation so I didn't get to socket any of my epics. If I remember, I had at least three SOJ's stored up on those mules. It makes me sad B)Now that I play World of Warcraft all the time, I kind of want to go back in the series and relive Orcs and Humans, Tides of Darkness, Beyond the Dark Portal - all of those. I never really got into Starcraft as much as the other two since sci-fi really isn't my thing :/Back to the point - Diablo never got boring for me. Nothing really gets boring for me for a while. I still kind of wish I could run around in Harrogath doing those little quests. I want to be able to play with that cool interface again. I'm so used to seeing the World of Warcraft one that it would be nice for a change every now and then. The only thing that really annoyed me was that I was deleted when I was about to beat Diablo in Hell mode. I beat Baal in it but forgot about Diablo (I think that's what happened). If they took out the two-month deletion thing, I'd so play again. So fun! -
What I know is that I <3 PHP a lot more than JSP simply because 1) it's more powerful, 2) it's simpler to me, and 3) it makes for a more streamlined webpage. I can't really give you tech specs because I don't know of any :/

Wait wait...when did this happen? I missed out on some classy signature action. *sigh*

All Games Banned In Greece face a fine if you have them
biscuitrat replied to quiksilver's topic in General Discussion
I have no idea why anyone would do that. Greece just lost about 3,000,000,000 coolness points in my book :PAnd here I wanted to go there some random summer - not anymore. If they make me pay for my World of Warcraft, I'll bite them :| -
Hi back! If you're new, you're gonna enjoy yourself here. If you're a veteran, sit tight and spout out wisdom to the forum newbies. *whoosh*
-
I missed something, I think. But no worries. We all make mistakes (some more often than others) but yours (judging by a previous reply) was probably not so horrible so...don't sweat it?I'm gonna go now and stop trying to 1) almost exactly quote snlildude87 and 2) offer little help on a topic I know nothing about.Tata
-
Also, you don't need to have PHP installed on your computer, just on your server. If you're hosted here, it's already installed so no worries (Check out Fantastico! So many scripts )

The yellow on blue is a little bit odd. If I were yo u, I'd like to switch that around to some other color that's less bright on the blue. Another thing that kind of annoys me is the little iFrame scroll menu on your navigation since it would help people to be able to see all links at once. I would also take out the "site is best viewed in [resolution]" part because you want people to be able to view your site well in all layouts, not only one. For example, it looks all right in 1024 x 768, but people would be scared away if they saw just boxes and mismatched text everywhere on a 800x600 or whatever. Also, the red text on the dark blue is a little vivid as well. A new palette of colors for the text is probably necessary :/

Disabling The Right Click On Windows Xp Admin Tutorials Needed
biscuitrat replied to Bazzu's topic in Software
Well, if you're doing this on a site, it can be very annoying. If you're trying to prevent images or script from being stolen, just know that there are many ways around right clicking.Could you clarify please? I think that either way, you yourself are not going to enjoy the results. -
I love my school - just being there and doing something different every day intrigues me. I'm going into my sophomore year of high school so I'm really hoping to take a few AP courses as well as Octathlon (trivia academic competition ). But yeah, the people can be really annoying - especially menfolk. Some people are so remarkably ignorant and others just don't have social skills...or proper hygiene to be accurate. But the people I love to hang out with are eccentric, witty, even a tad insane. It makes everything better :DThe courses I hate most are probably my mathematics classes only because everything is so strictly laid out (and my teachers are annoying ><) that there's no real challenge if you get the concepts. I love my biology, geography, English, and all my elective classes - Latin and Band. I don't think I'd ever drop out. There are days when I hate it a great deal but if you put up with it for long enough, you get a bit used to it
