Heck, I can't even run Windows Vista properly on a Pentium 4 2.53 GHz and having it let me play my games like Battlefield 2142 without having to upgrade the machine again.It's already sluggish with Windows XP. I think it's just the fact that you need more RAM because the X server needs at least 128MB if you have GNOME or KDE installed, so you need more RAM. Bare minimum of 256MB or 192MB if you buy 128MB/64MB combo (not recommended).So be sure that you have enough RAM. Also, Jeigh may be correct with the video card thing. It may simply be a graphics chipset problem.Also, remember, Linux wasn't designed for a replacement for Windows, it's an alternative for Windows.xboxrulz

Just to let you know, a lot of notebook manufacturers bolt down the processor by soldering it to the board, so you must make sure that the processor isn't bolted down. Be sure to check that before you proceed in getting a new one.Also, your processor is indeed Intel Core Duo.xboxrulz

The Wii comes with a wireless adapter built in. All you need is a wireless router and configure it to work with your router. Then you're set to go.xboxrulz

I've noticed on Windows machines ... even if you have the brand spanking new system with one of the best hardware, MacOS X will always boot faster than Windows will ever, it holds especially true if both systems have the same processor.xboxrulz

Ya, that's Microsoft for ya, gouge you then provide crappy services. The XBOX customer support is a bit better, but it takes like more than 45 minutes to get to speak with support after the automated system. It got me pretty annoying when I had to send my box in.xboxrulz

Yes I'm talking about the Wii. The SD card is meant as a backup storage just in case anything happens to your Wii. You just copy from the Wii's NAND storage to your SD card et voila, vous etes finisez XD (you are finished!) xboxrulz

You can actually fit the SD card for saved games. A card reader isn't expensive and they use an USB port to power itself.xboxrulz

Another major problem is that the system uses LayeredPanel, doesn't even come with cPanel. Another problem is that many functions were disabled for PHP, not good at all. I still prefer Xisto. No other host has interested me more, except paid hosting, but I don't have $$xboxrulz

All you need is a phone that accepts SD Card. I'm not too sure about your phone, so you'll need to do some research on your own. As for to let it read on your computer. You'll need to go out and buy a SD Card reader (most new laptops and desktops comes with them, unless you built your own desktop and didn't buy one already).xboxrulz

If I ever need them, I could always run Windows on VMWare . Then again, it's just the choice that you can make. I highly support and rather run UNIX than Windows anytime. Especially since I'm heading to University soon, and most University teach and run UNIX.xboxrulz

I also highly recommend Linux for Dummies, I learnt basically everything Linux from that book. Plus, it handy if you need to work on other UNIX systems like MacOS X.xboxrulz

I heavily recommend SuSE Linux, as for your system dropping out of graphical, it must be a driver fault or you might of messed up the X server's configuration files...xboxrulz
