  1. Wow, your connection MUST SUCK. I blame ur ISP . xboxrulz
  2. I'm pretty sure it won't be slower than Xisto due to the fact that the client per server ratio should be lower than on the free servers. xboxrulz
  3. Yahoo Chat as in chatrooms or YIM?I never go into Yahoo Chatrooms so I can really care less .xboxrulz
  4. Like most services, you must be patient for the system to fully process, so I'm not surprised that you needed to wait up to a day, even though the usual wait time is within a day.xboxrulz
  5. I think a better way to restore your files is just burn a Linux LiveCD and just access the NTFS partition on the system. It's a very clean way to retrieve your documents and such. This way, you won't get screwed over.xboxrulz
  6. hmmm... it was just a slight difference, not a huge difference, like going from a system start up of 15 seconds to 1 minute.xboxrulz
  7. I've heard the exact opposite. Unless your currency is tied to USD, it's skyrocketing. Maybe I'm wrong. However, how the Canadian dollar is doing is scaring the living crap out of me.xboxrulz
  8. Source: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Download it now, so that you won't get cracked by accident. xboxrulz
  9. Someone should fix that so it doesn't do that for mods. Mods should be hosted or non-hosted. xboxrulz
  10. Well, better buy vBulletin now before the AUD keeps plummeting. The Canadian Dollar dropped yesterday, but has quickly regained today back to 1.03 from yesterday's major drop to 1.01 from 1.08. xboxrulz
  11. Yes, the Canadian Dollar's highest peak was $1CAD = $1.08USD. This type of thing never happened after the 1970s as the Canadian Dollar was approximately 90 cents American until 6 months ago when the Canadian dollar (and possibly other currencies as well) skyrocketed. What does this mean? Buying power. However, little do happy Canadian shoppers know, the high dollar is impacting people like me. Yes, it impacts the manufacturing and export sectors, but the less known aspects it hits are families with members who work at other places on Earth to provide a living back home. For example, my father works in Hong Kong and the rest of us lives in Toronto. Due to the skyrocketing loonie, now my dad needs to work many times harder to earn that $1 Canadian compared to couple years ago. The bad thing is that as long as the American Dollar drops, the Hong Kong Dollar drops, so it's bad news for me .So, this means that as long as the American Dollar drops, many people will suffer, even shoppers (yes, we still get charged more than Americans do for the same good. Damn businesses and their gouging.)xboxrulz
  12. I think you can feel special by joining the Xisto Facebook group I made XD: /login.php?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fgroups%2F2231223500%2F&_fb_noscript=1 (like last year or something)
  13. Welcome back man. The last time I saw you, my post was just budging 500. Now it's over 2000 ... rofl. Time sure does fly!xboxrulz
  14. No, because the hard drive is removable, they don't want you to share things with your friend or copy it into another hard drive due to DRM restrictions. The files are only licensed for that XBOX 360 where you originally downloaded/bought from. Else, you must connect to XBOX Live whenever u want to access those files for verification.xboxrulz
  15. lol, I'm being evil and have Microsoft pay Purolator to ship my box to their centre. The repair is free, so what the hell, I'll take their replacement. As for my XBOX Live, they should give me a free 1 month XBL card 'cuz it'll be a month since my box died and I can't play my XBL and I'm paying for it. That's the main downside.I bit of a nuisance, but good thing I don't buy anything on XBL or else I will have to buy it again since they are replacing my XBOX 360.xboxrulz
  16. As I would like to hope, the unthinkable had happened, my X360's GPU fried. Then again, I don't blame it since it does most of the work while the CPU lays back and just do some menial math calculations and passes everything back to the GPU to handle the I/O, North and Southbridges. More on it here: https://kwokinator.com/wallpapers-room_com___digital_aurora_dark-blue_by_martin-matjulski_1920x1200-jpg/?a=topi%3Bt%3D81 I'm actually quite not happy about it being fried. xboxrulz
  17. That's strange that this problem only affects Windows XP, it is highly odd. I've never heard of a computer just crashes on one version of an operating system but works with its successor and its competitors. Oh well, at leas you got it resolved.I'd just go with a Mac, it just works (until there are actual component failures, there's no such thing as flawless hardware).xboxrulz
  18. Don't want to be rude but, this is the most complex computer question since no one actually know what this guy is trying to ask, it's like sherades. xboxrulz
  19. I think he means booting the system from a drive full of compressed ISOs. I don't think that is possible since I don't think LILO or GRUB can decompress ISO to RAMDISC without having the ISO decompressed in the first place.xboxrulz
  20. Since I haven't got my desktop and technology changed again, I updated the list and I plan to get it in December as long as I get parental approval (I hate going through this process):Planned specs:AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (65W) Dual-Core Socket AM2, 2.1GHz, 512KB x2 L2 Cache, 2000MHz HT, 65nm (ADO4000DDBOX)Asus M2A-VM Socket AM2 AMD690G + ATI SB600 Chipset Dual Channel DDR2 800/667/533 Integrated ATI X1250 Graphics Micro ATXHitachi HD 320GB SATA 3.0Gb/s 7200rpm 16MB Bulk (0A33435)Kingston ValueRAM 2GB (1GB x 2) 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 DIMM (Kit of 2) (KVR667D2N5K2/2G)Sapphire ATI RADEON HD 2600 PRO 512MB DDR2 Dual Display PCI-Express Graphics CardSUBTOTAL: C$358.95TOTAL: C$409.20If I need a new 400W supply, then add $70 (tax incl.) Right now I'm running on a 300W.Any comments?xboxrulz
  21. Ya, even I can't really find any new AGP cards for my system anymore. I'm planning to pitch in a maximum of $500 (CAD) to do a complete system overhaul. (Yes, I'm heavily cash strapped and $500 is a lot of money to me) Planned specs: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/93310-topic/?findpost= @mr_fahrenheight: You need a good dual core processor and at least an ATI Radeon X1650 (256 VRAM) or NVIDIA GeForce 7300 (256MB VRAM) to play Enemy Territory: Quake Wars smoothly. xboxrulz
  22. With MacOS X Leopard, you can install Boot Camp and install Windows natively to play all your favourite games without buying a crappy PC. However, just a note, Leopard has its fair share of problems, so I'd wait for 10.5.1 if I were you for them to iron out the first batch of bugs. That is true, a lot of people are still thinking back to pre-MacOS X and haven't looked at the new MacOS X and its stability and performance. Also, what's sad is that most people don't see the power of UNIX because they've been blinded by Microsoft and their antics. xboxrulz
  23. It looks like the server spat out only partial data and that caused the browser to only read that message. I just checked my website, it's up and running.xboxrulz
