As for the warning emails no you don't get any of course and so the only way you will know that you go one if you look at your warning bar in a post or in your profile and see it increased. As for your credits hard to say what could have happen your posts look clean and it doesn't seem you had any deleted, edited, or put in quotes so its hard to tell. Although either you did some a lot of posting since your problem or your credits are back to where they were when you had this problem.

Well its another one of those topics of some great software to have, and many of theme have been mention several million times in this forum alone . As we all know the paid security software has been getting nailed badly but its free/open source equivalents last few years, and I know that has been going on for at least two years in this forum alone with the "Best Anti-virus/firewall.adware/spyware" topics spread through the forums. I think though that this topic will kill those topics once and for all, well at least from people posting news ones at least. Ok so let the fun begin and just a slight note I haven't tested them myself but many people will be recognize them, but I might install a couple that I don't have. Zone Alarm I been hearing great things about this software I know it's been mentioned several times here, and right now I am installing it for some triple firewall protection. DOWNLOAD HERE 2. Comodo Firewall Pro I vaugely heard about this but I think the description will shed some light on this firewall a bit more DOWNLOAD HERE 3. Avast Need I say more about this program? Heck if I were to put it on a rating scale I would give it a number 3 spot behind the pad stuff, but that is me though since I am using McAfee right now and it has done the job I have expected it to use. AVG Anti-Rootkit Well I know rootkits are dangerous and made several topics about them last year, but with the right protection, and paying attention to what your doing, rootkits won't reak that much damage on your computer. Well it seems Trojans and root kits are making a deadly combination this especially with a technique thats pretty darn old. Well at least I understand how or where root kits become effective a bit more, but really you think if everyone is aware of it they would have found a way to patch that hole. I guess not since 5000 computers got tagged with this in 1 month since then. Of course to make it even worse this little Trojan goes after the Master Boot Record (MBR) which is a very bad thing if you get this installed, since now your computer is in complete control of your computer. Again though I don't know if they Trojan makes are smart or dumb or the people who fall for the traps are dumb, but basically in order to get this installed you need to be suckered into a corrupted website, and then the largest attack starts until your computer gets breeched. Meaning that they most be unloading some of the biggest Trojans and viruses that you may not be protected from and get in that way. As for protection it depends on what Anti-virus software you have but it seems most vendors have something for this so I check at your vendor's website and see what they have for it. SOURCE

1. Open the task manager and see what processes are being run while this is happen, pay special attention to the CPU Usage % to see how it spikes, then while that is going press the CPU tab so the highest % is up top, and that way you can see whats taking up all that processing speed. {Problem is your RAM/Processor} 2. Loading something up so there is no real problem with that just the program your loading. {Problem: Program Possible RAM issue} 3. Well I check some other sites about this problem and it could be the video portion of your motherboard could be failing and the only fix for that is to replace the motherboard, unless of course if you have a video card then try updating hte drivers or replace the card itself, after trying it on another machine. 4-5. Your hard drive is writing information in and if your not doing any saving of anything kind them you could have a virus in your computer 6. Is it repeating the sound or just sounds when an error shows up, and do you get an error pop up at all when this chimes in? 7. No idea since its hard to tell what script your running when you get that error 8. Usually you get that error when the Javascript doesn't load completely and so pressing stop the script usually helps or just reloading the page will fix this error. These errors usually don't cause to many problems though, because I get it a lot when I login into yahoo. 9. Go through steps 1-8 to troubleshoot your problem. First off P4 processors have some issues with vista due to the fact that they are very old so you might have upgrade your processor, which also means upgrading your motherboard as well to go duo core. You don't mention RAM so I assume you have 2Gb needed to run it somewhat smoothly, and I haven't encountered any problems with vista from what your describing. I don't know any known viruses that are out right now, and so I would assume you are scanning to see if you picked anything up, and if not go into safe mode and scan your computers to see if they find anything. If I am reading this correctly your saying you have two firewalls installed on each computer, and if so thats a bit overkill and get rid of one of them since you got one through your router as well. I think its just a memory problem and not a virus, and I would say do a little computer cleaning such as running disk cleaner and defragging your computer, maybe run spybot as well to fix some of the problems to see what happens. PHEW...ON TOPIC I put these tweaks in and seen some improvement, and someone of them are already defaults so that save some time, which lead me to find a few more on a topic I created for it as well. So hopefully when Firefox 3 goes full version that these tweaks will improve the memory even more.

I can't think of anything that would replace the mayonnaise, but there are recipes for eggless mayonnaise though. As for the peas steam them on the oven so you can keep some of that green color and crispiness to them when it comes to chilling it.

You could say that this topic was a reason why this topic is here. So I did some web surfing and found this awesome website that really gets some good customization to your Firefox browser. Just a small note that you will be working mostly in the about:config page so just open a new tab and of course open this topic up or the website that this info is coming from. Sessions If you read the comments about little tweak you could say it somewhat pointless since you can do other ways, but hey the more I know about the browser the more I get out of it. Also I hate trying to retype emails forgetting what I say as well, and of course if you a regular poster here on trap and your writing a good post and you accidentally close the tab just do a undo close tab and all your data is there. Tab width before scrolling kicks in I like this one especially since now I can get a few more tabs in my browser without the need to scroll or close tabs to get to the other one. Turn off chrome tooltips Never really ran into that problem, but I would say screen resolution could have something to do with this but I doubt it. layout.spellcheckDefault = 2 turns on Firefox 2's spell-checking in input fields as well as textareas. YEAH!!! no more typo's on the shoutbox or topic titles ever again, which means do this tweak and when your typing your topic titles and you get a error right click the error and BAM!! browser.urlbar.hideGoButton=true turns off the rarely-used Go button at the end of the address bar. Heck I never use it of course why both disabling it either. Actually is Ram is displayed in the CPU image he provided it is a 1Gb Stick at 333Mhz, and the answer is no you can't use that RAM for your motherboard you have to replace it as well.

I am going to treat you all to one of my favorite dishes, its called a seven layer salad and of course its obvious what it will look like. You could say this is a health dish and of course very customizable depending on how you look at it. So you will need the following items:8x10 Pan 1/2 Head of Lettuce - Chopped 1/2 Cup of onions - Chopped 1/2 Cup of green peppers - Chopped 1/2 Cup of Celery - Chopped 1 10oz Pkg Frozen peas - cooked and cooled 2 Cups of Mayonnaise 2 Tea spoons of Sugar 4 oz of cheese 6-8 Slices of bacon - cooked and chopped up Ok now for the layering1st Layer - Lettuce 2nd Layer - Green Peppers 3rd Layer - Onion 4th Layer - Celery 5th Layer - Pea's then put the Mayonnaise and sugar on top 6th Layer - Cheese 7th Layer - Bacon Let the dish refrigerate over night and can be served any time the next day. Like I said you can customize this very efficiently especially the Mayonnaise if you like that fat free stuff and the sugar as well, but of course you can add more vegetables to it if you wish or replace the original recipe for other vegtables. Man I think I will be going broke this year from all the movies I will be watching, and color me shocked about the 3rd mummy movie, and if I do see and whats his name shows up again then I will go insane. Little surprise they did another Punisher movie, though ok, box office told otherwise, and the same with Hellboy as well. Don't plan on seeing jumper just because it looks lame, maybe I do the DVD purchase later in the year maybe not. Now from my perspective people took advantage of freedoms we gave, and rather embrace them, they are brain washed by people who rather be leaders with control and power like Hitler, Saddam, Stalin, Mao, Ho Chi Minh, Napoleon. So I ask this question would you rather have someone control your lives like these terrorists and force you to do things that you don't want to do? Or rather be able to enjoy to do things without having to worry about going to jail, be killed, and all that other wonderful stuff? Me personally I can't do what freedom fighters of the past did and stand up for the little guy, and so I let them do the fighting. Of course I be damn if I let some (insert several words here) how to live my life, I don't care if your Christian, Muslim, Bhuddist, Greek Orthadox etc etc what I can and cannot do. Yeah I am with dre unless you need a real specific monitor like one used for HD quality then yeah then maybe you would upgrade, or if you go a new desk for you computer and the monitor just doesn't fit then ok maybe get a new one. Of course the main reason most people don't upgrade monitors is that nice little price tag, and why would they need a 21+ inch plasma, LCD, flat screen monitor for reading emails and surfing the net, its just a waste. Unless its a business or scientific enviroment there is no need to get the ultimate monitor, thats like telling people they need to spend $100,000 for that 150 inch plasma TV.

So like I said its all about timing, and location to watching these cosmic events.

Interesting as this might work, but when it comes down to it proper maintenance of the discs and making sure your PS2 or any console is to keep it clean. Use a can of air and blow through it a couple of times, and as for cleaning those discs of scratches run it through a disc clean or use some of the compound (can't think of the name) to rub on to the CD to fill in some of those scratches and stuff.

Yeah I seen weird phobias, occasionally Muary would do a show about fears and I tell this if your afriad of jello and the way it wiggle you need to be in a white coat. As for fears you could say depending on my mood these three fears are basically one in the same Gerascophobia, Chronophobia, and Thanatophobia. Fear of getting old, fear of time, and fear of dying. Individually they don't do anything to me but together they can really screw with my mind, and especially when I go through my bouts of depression they make me the weakest. OFF TOPIC Members make sure to read the topic as the title is not what the best antivirus is, but rather what to look for in selecting an anti-virus. So be more descriptive in your posts ala hitmanblood. ON TOPIC Yeah that is a very broad question to answer because of the different main stream AV software that is out there on the market. With my experiences with AV software I look for several things; how much does it take up in resources (CPU Usage), does it have the total package in protection such as spam, ad/spyware, protection from both the internet and from other computers on the network, how fast do you put out updates to current beasties that are roaming around, firewall protection, and in the case of McAfee Security Suite what other tools does it carry that help maintain my computer. Since I have had this computer McAfee hasn't failed me once in keeping me protected, best example is when I reinstalled my computer and I was software hunting I had a whole bunch of Trojans try to get into my computer and McAfee got rid of them. Of course that doesn't mean you should always rely on Anti-virus software for all your needs though usually you have to get programs that are more specific like spybot to pick up the slack on anything your main protection might have missed. Which means how to pick the right software for your needs well that all depends really because for an anti-virus software to do its job its the user that needs to know the computer and how to make sure to keep it protected. You can get the software for free or pay for it, but if your doing stuff that defeats the purpose of the software you might as well not have it installed and try your luck. As for recommendations on what to do with check this topic out here. Well good news is that I logged into cpanel this afternoon and went to AWSTATS page and BAM!! its there, so don't worry about configuration errors if you do happen to delete the conf files.

You can delete the files in the /tmp but a small warning leave the configuration files alone, I learned that the hard way but I was told to wait a few days and it would fix itself (update to come on that). It is safe to delete the png files and the log files and your awstats will function correctly or should function correctly. However, if your still unsure about deleting the contents in that folder then don't, but it does free up some space on your account that can be used for your hosting needs.

First Movie theater's will never be threaten by large screen like this, because of the fact these TV are the price of a brand new car and most people wouldn't risk that kind of cash on a TV like that. The second thing is that people still go out to see movies just because it is a fun activity, and or someone is bootlegging a movie . As for plasma tv's they are to high maintenance to keep running especially the screen, and on top of that price as well makes them expensive to buy as well. The next is that you would have to build a house around this TV just so it would fit properly against your wall, and I don't think those TV's could fit through a door either .
