  1. And that means that all the hardwork webmasters and owners that have put in their sites will get lost and be wasted!!!But it's a gamble that's worth the risk.... or is it a risk that's worth the gamble?Anyhow, whether the internet will be shut down or not, I will continue to make my website, and the chances of it happening are slim and I don't see it happening anytime soon...
  2. Yeah, you're right... and I don't think Piracy can be stopped, or ever will be. Metallica shouldn't have fought it, they should just have let it happened... I agree with you too. I mean, if they actually DID stop piracy (which is impossible, but let's just speculate), they might get some more sales, or people might just go off them completely. Say, shouldn't people start merchandise piracy? If merchandise gives more money than CDs, then people should copy and make fake merchandise, not sell cheap CDs.
  3. War isn't neccessarily all about winning with a good strong army and weapons. It isn't about who gets the most tanks and who gets the most warshisps. It is about thinking quick, thinking fast, and thinking intelligently, making good decisions on your feet.I have once read a book on thinking quickly, where short moments of your thinking and following your intuition actually gives your better results than logical planning, taking your time to decide with logical thinking, and making out a list of Pros and Cons for your decision. In that book, it also gave me a case study of a American War General, the blue team, put into a real life stimulation of war with the Technological people, the red team. The Blue team had nothing, not technology, no nothing, only primitive resources and would talk their plans over the phone and all that. The Red Team had, on the other hand, everything. Tracing devices, top computers that can calculate the odds of where the enemy might go, and all that... As well has nearly a hundred times more tanks, units, army, warships, planes and everything, and while the Blue Team had the most primitive resources, let's say ships and tanks from World War 2, the Red Team had the most advanced technology available to them. And guess who won? The Blue Team. Why use mobile phones when the Red team can track their messages and work out their plans?Well, how are they communicate if they lose their one and only way of communicating with their units though?Did everyone forget World War 1? People RAN from one another, they sent messages. And this was how The Blue Team won. The Blue Team also took risks that the Red Team would never think they would...It surprised the US Army Base. The Blue Team managed to sink two ships, and the Red Team didn't even know what was happening, as the Blue team kept the element of surprise with them... The Red Team lost over 400 units of nurses and soldiers, and the Blue Team lost none. And THIS is war...Not those games that try to replicate what war is and all that...
  4. And how do you know that? What is the internet anyway? If the internet is very accessible and all that... why do we have to pay mobile phone companies and all that to link us to the World Wide Web? Where does the money go to, to them? Then can't we just link it ourselves? Why do we have to pay for online services (not including businesses and companies making money) if the internet is accessible? Why do many people on Earth do not have Internet connection? How does the internet connect us anyway? Yes, I know... by satellite and mobile phone/telephone lines... but really? Is that true? Also, why do we have to pay for hosting services to host our own website? And who are THEY hosted by? Can't we just make our own host and host it on our own, giving all the privileges to ourselves? Where does the money go to? These are just a few questions flying around and running around in my head... And of course, the ULTIMATE. Does anyone own the internet?
  5. Nice... I'm testing it out now... don't blame me if it goes all wrong and beserk. Yeah... well, when I said everything, I meant literally everything apart from himself, as God (the Christian one) is said to have meant to be here since the beginning of Time (the Big Bang is officially when I time started) but is also infinite (but we can trace the Big Bang to around it's starting point, when it all started. If the Big Bang started time, then God would not be infinite if he did not exist before the Big Bang.) Argh... many more factors exist that I have not noticed before in this argument... Oh well, it just proves that God is contradictory. But I must say that there is no way of ever proving or showing that God really did create those things I said He did. It is just a thing of assumption. But if he ONLY created matter, where did life come from? If he created life, he created something that isn't physical, and therefore he can easily create other things like lust and rape and sin. And Yes, I did start the topic of God creating everything (apart from himself - I didn't put that in the first post though, sorry)... Yeah? Well, I really can't reply that, I don't know a lot about both Gods, but the Zeus God, I must say, is sick... How did a "Homosexuality thread" turn into a "Whether-or-why-God-created-rape-thread" in the first place? All I meant is... Well... Put it simply, why did god create both rape and sex? If he created sex for reproduction and for offspring, why did he create rape, the same thing with unnecessary worry, hassle and injury on the female part? Is it for punishment of the original sin? If he created sex for reproduction and for offspring, why did he create rape... isn't one enough? Doesn't he know that there is a rising number of population in this world, many of it due to rape cases? (50% of the men in South Africa admitted to raping women and children at least one... what about those that didn't admit it?) If he created sex for reproduction and for offspring, why did he make it so pleasurable that rape needed to arise into this world? Ah... well, she could've run, couldn't she? And the male lion didn't really harm her in anyway (kick her, bite her, injure her or even kill her after the deed is done) Feel sorry for all the females worldwide, this is something no one should be forced into.
  6. Ah, right... oops... sorry! Yeah, I went to the other one. I like the way your background is like, transparent though, I would like to know how you did that. The experimental one looks good. The only thing (well, only two things) I would like changed in the banner at the top, where it looks too thin and it looks like you can make it thicker and maybe put a better logo or image up on the top. The second thing will the the Ventrilo box on the bottom right hand corner. The white looks too out of place with your fancy background, and it stands out when it shouldn't. It draws the attention of the viewers eye to the box and not the "Mock Event". But how did you do that? That is fantastic! Do you use Logic Plan, or Logic PRO?
  7. Yeah, it shouldn't be a big problem... changing emails might be a bit of a hassle but the support at Xisto Corporation is very good, they usually reply support tickets in less than half a day.
  8. Well, opposite names usually sound cool, it's a juxtaposition... Things like flufflyplanet and things are always attractive, thought I sometimes use liquidfire and liquidblue (sorry, name's been taken, no snatching!)... Though I think blackmoon and hoticicle doesn't sound too good in my opinion...
  9. Actually, that would be just for your own website, where people will use up your bandwidth for nothing...Someone has just introduced me to the world of blogging, and it might be useful to set up a traffic generator there, and you will NOT use up bandwidth, and your site will get quite populated, increasing the amounts of people going there and possibly clicking on one of your ads, letting you earn revenue...What do you think?(I know the chances aren't high... but still...)
  10. Oh my god, thanks for the warning. Don't want to get suspended by doing that. :)And if Kontera pays via Paypal, and most if not all of out members here use the Personal account, I should be fine. :)I still don't really get the Kontera/Xisto mode though, but anyhow, I'm trusting this site and Kontera, as well as all the members on this site, so that should be not problem... I might borrow some books on the library or search the web to see how it actually works when I have time though. I like being thorough in everything that I do.And OK... no wordpress.com. I'll keep that in my mind. The good thing about Blogger is that it already has my email address on it (strange, but oh well...), so I don't need to sign up separately and all that, as I can just use my password on gmail. No wonder people like to blog so much!!! You get cash money from putting ads on it. :)And that will help me greatly if I am to upgrade my account to Logic Pro ($7 per month not including tax) plus two domain names (around $28 dollars including tax per year, or I might just get one domain name, make the other site on a sub-domain from the first site and mask it with a .tk extension) and I won't need to post as often as I am now (I have a feeling that my posts are clogging up this site as when I see the "See New Posts" section, half the page has my name on it as the last poster, especially the first few.)Nice... thanks for the great help, mahesh2k. Help Appreciated.
  11. Yay! Thanks so much for explaining everything to me... I'll go and start a blog right away... :)It's pretty sad we don't get much from it though, but still... better than nothing... :(I'll have to keep in mind to tell my site members to click on the ads when my site is up to support hosting on my site though, I'm sure they'll help, as more likely than not, I know them and by explaining things to them they'll understand and help.So that means that not only you can earn money from people clicking on your site, you can also earn money that Xisto earns as revenue... wow, double (or not so double) cash!!! Hmm... thanks. And the money that I earn at with Xisto's revenue goes directly to the Xisto's Support and Billing Client Centre? What about the money that I earn from my site when people click there and not here? Also, is it possible to have more than one account (as I have more than one gmail account), and might start some blogs at wordpress just for this? Thanks for the huge clarification though... great job!!! :)
  12. Ah... thanks for trying to reply. ;)Darn... I don't have my site yet, so I can't join. And that means that unless I get traffic and people clicking on the my site ads, I won't earn anything near $100.The colour link thing was in the original post of introducing Kontera to Xisto members. I don't really know what it means or anything...What I thought was that you didn't have to get your own site to use Kontera. The thing was, it said on the introductory Kontera thread that as long as you post on the forums on a lot and on a huge variety of subjects, you can earn money when someone clicks on YOUR Kontera ad. So I'm thinking that as long as I post a lot and put what Kontera gives me (the ad) onto my signature (currently the man in the purple clothes under my post) I will earn money!!!I really don't understand now. So, what you mean is that Kontera will put those hyperlink things on my site, where if a visitor clicks on it an ad will appear or something? Then how does that relate to posting on the forums and all that?<<<???>>>
  13. I would say I like REAL time based strategy... this is basically because I like real time, as it doesn't require you to spend as much time and as I like waiting...I don't know what turn based time strategy games are though, so maybe that's why I like real time more...
  14. I never knew that lots of visitors take up your bandwidth... I'll never join those sites then...I only want visitors that actually visit, not random people that click, look and then go away...Of course, if you were looking to sell your domain name and want to generate fake traffic to look good on traffic sites, then it's a different matter...
  15. Well, I'm sure why I'm called Nameless_ if you've been to my profile page, but I'll put it up here again anyway...Firstly, I want to become nameless because well, I just want to be known as Nameless. I want to remain anonymous and not post my personal information out if I can avoid it. This includes, age, sex (yes, sex as well!), name, location and everything else...And I'm Nameless_ with an underscore (_) after my name because:1) There is already a user that registered with that name (Nameless without an underscore) in 2008, so I can't use it.2) Nameless_ with an underscore looks better than any other name that I can think up of, and it makes me look better in my opinion3) Nameless_ allows me to put an apostrophe s ('s) after my name without it looking too retarded due to the overwhelming amount of s's in my name (in my opinions)Which one do you prefer?Nameless'sor Nameless_'s?So yeah... that's it, I guess. And I'm also known as name that are similar to Nameless on the online community. Here are a few:NamelessNameless_Nameless Soulnameless_soul_nameless_soulNameless Onenameless_oneI think you get the idea... so that's it, I guess. There's a few more, but I won't put it up.nameless_one_
  16. Hiya, highlyblessed, or should I say, Kathryn Small? ...I'm very glad to see you here. I see that you don't have a myCENTS under your name... if you want to start earning myCENTS and host a site, signup at Xisto's Support and Billing System, so you can have your own Client Area. (Signup with the same email as you did here)Once your registration order has been processed, you can get started! You will be able to see a myCENTS thing under your name on the forums of Xisto, like what most of the members and posters here have (I have one under my name too, so you can see what I mean). This means that you can start the first steps to free hosting! This is a free service would otherwise be NOT free (paid) that only requires you to post here every so often. And it doesn't have to be a lot. Just once or twice a day would be fine, just a decent post with a decent number of characters.Remember to read the forum rules though, as you can get negative myCENTS if your thread is edited, moved or deleted, but that rarely happens.Anyhow, feel free to browse around and learn more about this site. It is an easy way to learn more money while learning to build your own site!!!Nameless_
  17. Let me guess... the site is about website making? Well, you said you think it would be "relevant to *many* people here"... so that's why I said that. For constructive criticism, I would say that the white background is a bit plain... try something different, though I don't really know what. You have done more than what I hope to achieve, so I really don't have anything to say... really.
  18. Ah... OK thanks for the help... But no one answered my Kontera question: "I want to sign up for Kontera, except it said Site URL at the sign up place, and so I don't really understand what to put in there. Just the Xisto forums, the Xisto main site itself, or your own site? Also, will I get spam by giving my email? How do I receive payment? (Through Paypal, I know... but when?) Once a month? Once a day? How does it work? For the Colour link text thing... Do I just put it in my signature? And what does "your own ad is displayed 1%" mean?" I won't be linking it to my bank account, so I won't need to give in my real details, mainly because I don't have one, and my parents will also definitely not give them to me. I'm just using it to receive funds for my hosting, that is: 1) From Kontera, once I know how it works and everything, and whether there is spam or not, and all the other details that I need to know about. 2) From ads that will be put on my site, if they can just give my the payment through Paypal without needing me to upgrade 3) From cash making sites that are LEGITIMATE, if I find one that gives me more money than posting at Xisto and uses less time to do so. The funds that I will be receiving will (I assume) be coming on a periodical basis, so hopefully Paypal won't "make" me upgrade my account or anything. And please tell me Xisto accepts the Paypal method of payment...
  19. I don't know anything about Obama Barrack either, but you put forward your arguments well, with strong evidence (I trust you) and everything...It's just that I never really thought that Obama was someone like that though, for some reason I had thought that he was doing a great job as a president (not that I know a lot about him), and that everyone liked him and the such.I must be wrong then... Obama isn't as good as I thought he was. I didn't really get the 'Stupid' part though. I mean, yeah, maybe the term 'stupid' was a bit harsh. Actually, very harsh, and calling the police stupid is rather 'stupid' himself, what what is with the police going to work and stopping murderers in cars? That's one argument that I don't understand about...Also, the beer instead of apology was a but weird, but isn't a beer better than an apology in American culture? Material goods, not apologies from the heart.(No offense to any Americans, I know that there are a lot. I am merely stating that beer drinking is a huge part of American culture, and making something someone did wrong for a cup of beer sounds normal to me)The rest just proves that Obama is hate-able.
  20. ASHISHRANJAN, you kinda already gave the answer away in your first post... you were what? In year eight... that was three years ago. What are you now? 8+3=11 So, assuming that you are now in Year eleven, aren't you a bit too young to be dating? If her parents know about you liking their daughter at this age, they wouldn't be happy, because they think that both her (their daughter) and you are too young to be together and make love when you two should be studying and getting ready for university. If you want her parents to accept her, don't give up on her! Show that you are loyal, and that you are willing to wait until school finishes and until university starts. After all, you still have a few years to date and all that, why not study well, study hard, and do well in your end of high school certificate, get into a famous university and get yourself in a good career position and SHOW her parents that you can sustain her and you together in your living and that YOU have waited for a few years just to do this. It shows that you are extremely extremely loyal and that you will be a good son-in-law. Well, that's all there is from my advice... All the best wishes to you and... *pauses* Good luck!
  21. I'm sorry (once again)... I don't know of any networking sites like this, but there are mass message companies around that let you do this for a small fee. What I recommend, however, is to start a Gmail account and add your contacts there. Create a new group and put all the friends that you want to email or contact to into that one group. And now you're done! When you or if you want to send a mass mail to one whole group of people, you just need to select that group. By doing so, you will automatically send that one message to everyone. I personally have my own Chainmail group, people that I send chainmail to because they like it and they want it.You can get started at googlemail too!
  22. Hiya Rocksmth04, You know, you should've just start a new thread all for yourself instead of posting on someone else's introduction page... that way EVERYONE knows there's a new member in the town... But anyhow, I'm glad I found your post! I'm glad you found this site out of all the hosting sites in the world... this is a very good site where you have to pay (or you're meant to) for the hosting of your website but you don't have to because you can earn money just by posting here! Firstly, you have to registered in Xisto's Support and Billing Centre... with the same email address as you did here. By doing that, you will link the two accounts together, and you can begin earning myCENTS!!! Every 100 myCENTS is equivalent to one USD (US dollar). And you can start hosting your account for $2 USDs (200 myCENTS) per month! This is very easy, as I usually make that much in a DAY. You can upgrade your account if you wish, and downgrade it anytime you want, as it is very convenient. The support and feedback are all very positive, so you have nothing to worry about! You can read the rest of what you have to know in my previous thread for Chris... Hope to see you around and hope we can be friends!
  23. Wow... I really never thought of that...It's good that you are supporting artists by buying their Tee shirts and not their CDs now though, but if you really want, you can just donate to them. ;)It's too bad I don't really support a particular band or stuff. I usually just download their songs from the internet and listen to them, but I don't go to their concerts of anything.I'm not a fan of anyone, I just appreciate good music.
  24. Sorry for the misunderstanding... :-/ Didn't mean for that to happen... Yeah, I agree that the themes are terrible. Most people don't even bother changing the default theme and it just looks so different from the one that you came from (the actual main website itself). I will only be putting on forums if my site turns out to be popular. After all, I don't want an empty forum with only me posting on it occasionally, as people will look back and go: "Wow... this site was built like, 3 years ago and only the admin posted... haha, what a failure!" and walk away (or literally, browse away). But yeah, I'll keep your offer in mind and I'll ask you questions should I ever want to get a forum on my site and have some things and stuff that I need help on.
  25. *high five* Yeah, for some reason I only like plain and BRANDLESS things... the plainer the better. I opt for simple, not complicated, and I really hate brands... And really? I never knew that artists get more money form selling fan Tee shirts than selling CDs... that's really weird, as their main income should be coming from what they are actually doing (making music and creating new CDs) not the side, optional accessories...
