I think that your new design is very cool. It already starts at the intro which i must note i usualy hate intros or splashscreens but this one is pretty cool. I think that the new templateis pretty nice even though its a bit clumsy here and there. For example you cant read the text very well where tagboard. At least for me i think it would be better if you made the contrast between text and background higher it would look a lot better. The same goes for the link colors on the yellowish background that are the same color as the tagboard text. like that light greenish dosent looks to well on the yellow. And also it dosent look so good on the light brown either. Try to work on the design a bit more to make it look more professional. try to sort everything out with borders around all of your colored areas so it looks the same everywhere and dosent look a bit clumsy. :angry:I think the top banner/logo thing is pretty cool and well done. All in all its a pretty cool site. Well done

@misere:lol ok your going to have to get VERY drunk to have enough alcohol in your breath to breathe fire. i mean i tried with alcohol that had 40% and spitting it right at the flame and that didnt light. but think that theres going to be a lot les % of alcohol in your breath. so then your probably going to pass out from drinking it before you can actualy do the fire breathing Thanks for the idea though. @Ao)K-General:hehe ok thanks. ill try and be carefull and notget hurt. @Kubi:Hm ok THAT sounds dagerous. Ive seen/tried to do something similar when you let the gas flow into your closed fist and then light it. I dont think i want all the gas to ignite in my mouth. Im going to try with this local alcohol. its called wheat rum or somehting. usualy hasaround 80% alcohol. should work. :DThanks for everybodys input. I'll post some pics when this works. XD

@Togi:Hehe well its not always the extraordinary form you see from real preformers. and you dont have to do it with liquids always. When you use wheat or nesquick its pretty safe i would say. but the again the effect of the flame is like cept to a minimum. Ok so ive decided i want to start to spit fire. what is the real name for it in english? i think its firebreathing but im not sure. this is what i mean: http://www.hborchert.de/images/feuerspucken.jpg ive been reading around on the internet and i think its not as dangerous as you might think if youve never done it before. The first time i though about it i though about how it would be if it burned your mouth and all of that. But even little kids do it on birthday partys and all that. I wanted to ask if any of you know anything i should think about. any opinions on this. ** forgot to press submit/ one hour later ** Ok so i tried it with wheat and nesqui but it dosent really work if i throw the nesquit at the flame with a spoon it works but not from my mouth. and it dosent really burn very well either. does anybody know any safe things i can use to spit fire that are easy to get? thanks for any help

I used to do this too when i was a bit younger. I didnt actualy try very many but i was very happy with the Magix set. They basicly have whats called Magix music maker where you can mix samples and loops together. Then there is like Magix Techno Maker or Magix Hip-Hop Maker which is bascily all the same program except they give you diffrent sounds to fit better with the genre. then they have these cds called sound pools that have all the beats on them. you can basicly use them with any programs for making music. You can also record really well with this and make your own sounds with a drumkit and a syth and stuff like that. Then i dont know if you have a mac but theres also GarageBand which i think is realy good. as long a you dont have a really slow mac like a mac mini or somehting i think its good. There you can play literaly ANY instument with your keyboard or its better if you get a midi-keyboard but yeah its good. You cant really get full dns capabilitis with your current coniguration/hardware i dont think. There might be some things you can install to get it. i guess it works over ip then. youll have ns1.yourip and ns2.yourip or somehting like that. if you want to have a domain forward to your computer you can find out your ip on https://www.whatismyip.com/ and then make it forward to there. im not sure if all domain hosts offer sending it toan ip but i think they should. if not there is always http://www.noip.com/ that also offers free subdomains for it. so lets say you sign up for itssami.no-ip.com then url for LOCALHOST/index.htm would be http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. hope that answeres you questions.

I think the design of this is really good. im very impressed. But theres also many things that you can improve. Ill start of with the banner/logo thing. Its a pretty nice picture but the depth of field dosent suit it very well. If pictures have to much stuff that are out of focus than inside of focus. The kinda mosaic effect you added looks really good with it though. Very high tech. If you want to keep the current picture i would suggest that you add some white text on the left side. or black really. but i would suggest you use white and keep it in the green area of the photo. You can like have the name of the site on the left of the focused area and on the right have a slogan or somehting similar. The next thing i would suggest is you to change the top menu a bit to possibly come more into style with the other menus and also try to align it with the width of the rest of the page if you know what i mean. Also the left menu is a bit to high i think in firefox. you might wanna check that out. i dont know if its intentional. But from the graphics i think its really good. well done

Ok so last night i goto bed thinking about many nice things. And in the night i start to here the sound of water drops splashing into the water and i think to myself. oh how nice its raining. and im all cozy in my bed. Then i wake up in the moring and look around to see that my whole room is flooded with a ton of water. first thing i do is call the firedepartment to come with a pump to pump it all out. which worked great. but ofcourse. the damage is done. nothing to do about it. My whole carpet is ruined. And i look to my computer and hope nothing happened. My beloved camera was also on the floor but i think it survived well as far as i can tell now. now i have to get all the stuff out of my room so they can pull the carpet out. At least i get to choose a new one. But my computers is broken. I always get bluescreens when i start it and nothing will help. So i decide to format my hd and install windows again which seems to work. But now im getting problems accessing certain parts of the hard drive. it wont let me install macromedia dreamwaever. middle in the installation it says i dont have permission to access a certain folder which is in the dreamweaver directory and yeah. i cant download files properly to the desktop. i think the water also affected my hd even though it wasnt actualy touched by the water. god i just hate some people. we just moved into this house a few months ago but theres so many problems with it. i cant belive they didnt isolate it right against water. i see some heads rolling soon. grrr

Ok so i dont really know if fthis is the right section to ask this but here it goes. I have a domain name registered by my Internet secive provider but it really sucks. It dosent support DNS and only forwarding which isnt real forwarding but it makes 2 frames one at 0% and one at 100% with your website in it. which is stupid in the first place because frames suck. So now i though about transfering it to a company that focuses on domain names so that i can have dns and stuff like that and not have think how stupid it is with frames?so my first question is: Do i have to wait for it to expire with my old registrant before using it with the new one?2) do i have to do something on the site of my old regisrar to accept/allow the new one to take it? and 3) is there anything else i should know when transfering a domain. thanks for your help?

lol well. moustach is acutaly the part above your mouth only when talking about beards. I dont shave a lot yet but i do it with a like shaving mouse and this other thing. dont really know the name of it. but yeah. keeps it nice and clean. but i wanna have a 3 day beard or somehting.

I think that dreams certainly have a lot to do with your life. If things happen in your life that have a big impact on it or make you think a lot. I think it is very likely to be reflected in your dreams. I dont think you made it quite clear if your firend had an accident in real life or in your dream. If it was in real life i am very sorry. But it shows that dreams do have a lot to do with your real life. What i do not belive in is dreams being some kind of prophesy or however you spell it. I mean if somethings happen to you in real life. and then you dream about it. i think thats logical. But if you lets say dream your going to have an accident, i dont belive its says that your going to have an acceident in real life. And ergo i dont belive you can really interpret dreams as to what is going to happen to you in real life. Maybe you can interpret things about yourself. about your feelings, about your character. but certainly not about your futur. anyways thats my thoughts on it. what do you think?

i think this is pretty cool. and even though google dosent really have the best reputation with all this privacy and information storing rumors going on i think that it would be nice of google to do something like eBay. then again it might just make this internet a bit more messy than this messy crap that it already is. just another service....which would make you sign up there too. and then when you look for stuff to buy you have to look on eBay AND on googles ebay thing. as for sqlbytes proposal of getting free stuff is you have lots of activity i dont think that is very realisic. first of all because google dosent really have any community type stuff and any activity isnt really going to contribute to google. and if it was mean for googles ebay thing then i dont think it is possible at all because all the stuff that are sold are from private people and not by google. and i dont think private people are going to give their stuff awayfor free.

There is ofcourse a way to do this. you can use plain html really. what you can do get a program to make a picture of what the webcam is seeing at the moment and save it somwhere where it can be accessed. then you can make the page refresh every 3 seconds or something and then you a webcam type thing. this way you can put an infinate number of webcams on a website but it would take a long time to load them. with java you can also do more than one webcam. as long as you have access to cams i think you can put however many you want into the java application. i think for a website the best solution is java because so manypeople have it. alternatively you could also try with macromedia flash to connect to webcams. i have seen both ways used on websites already and it works pretty good. anyways good luck eh?

thats a nice tutorial. i think you did it right as you can see with the feedback many people didnt know what to google for so they couldnt mind any tutorials for it. anyways i was wondering about making the actual .ico file. apart from the photoshop plugin which limits people the actualy getting photoshop in the firsyt place cant you just rename a 'normal' picture to .ico and if you can are there images that you cant rename to .ico that wont work?thanks a lot for answeres

I think is very hard to measure all this. And i dont but i dont think good financials means you dont have a lot of the rest. or the other way around you can also have a bad life. for example:you have a family but you done have a job for a while now and you have problems with your family because they are angry at your and stuff. so basicly your not really happy probably either because your finance is bad and also your family life. Then again i dont think its family is the right name for this catgory. i myself would call it something like the social aspect of your life. which is obviously family but could also be friends and stuff like that. heres another thing to think about:i think happyness isnt really somehting that stands by itslef but something that is determined by the other two. like if you have bad money and no friends/family life for me it would be kinda hard to be happy. then if you have money and family/friends you would probably be happy. or if you have one of the two it depends on the person and what is more important for them. anyways thats my input on this. what do you guys think?

hey i think this is a pretty cool blog. even though you used a standard template i think its nice. i think blogs that are for debateing are pretty cool. but im not really so much intrested in politics that it is somehting for me. you might want to condiser having a forum thread for like each topic for people to be able to debate on topics better. other than that i think youll have it nice at Xisto if you decide to move the blog. i know that blogspot supports ftp so you wont have to have the bar at the top anymore. good luck

sqlbyte:msn is a like a chat thing. you can compare it to ICQ, AIM or Yahoo Messenger. you can use it with any email adresse signed up to the microsoft passport service. i havent heard of msn 8. is it good?

all im getting is the php-nuke logo and it says there is a mysql error. does this have antyhing to do with what you changed yesterday? anyways ill be glad to review when its back up

well i guess your second problem is more of a windows type thing. php files could be associated with pmw.exe and you might be doing the file:// instead of going through localhost to access the files. thats the only things i can think of. maybe it helped

i would also say my favorite season is summer like most of the rest of you here. in the summer you dont really feel any discomfort when you go outside. and also the trees are green which would mean i can use the ir filter that i got for my camera more. and you can walk around in a tshirt and short pants which is awsome. i love being hot. even if its all sweaty and stuff.

you have to put them in the C:\windows\fonts\ folder and they will install automaticly. then you can open photoshop or restart it if itsd alrady open and use them from there
