  1. Just to add some info. when you Portforward. don't open too many ports because you will become very vulnerable to hackers. My friend opened like 20 ports and he got a virus within a day, and it was a weak as trojan, but he needed to reformat and he lost all of his data. I myself opened 1 port, but i still use a firewall, but allow utorrent though just not anything else. Thanks for the tut anyway
  2. I haven't got much experience in Linux although i have used both distros. I would have to say Ubuntu is the better one. Although like "random truth" said they are pretty similar and also both are extremely user friendly, Fedora does lack in some areas of user-friendliness though.Ubuntu has more drivers, i didn't think it would run on my old laptop, but it did. But Fedora didn't, I had to search for a driver. bah .So download Ubuntu.
  3. Back again.I was doing some research found out that, If your a gamer get the Core 2 Duo E8400 3ghz instead of any other duo core or quad core, reason is that the Two Core processor splits power evenly for maximum gaming performance. But the Quad Cores don't. Quad cores are for people into Game creation, mapping or video production.Hope this helps.
  4. Yes same here I like the Vista Icons, I think you should try looking at the Customization section on: They always have something up on there.
  5. I have a Nokia 6500 Slide, but I want a Nokia N82. The slide is better than the thin classic version. Slide has a 3.2MP camera instead of the 2MP that the classic offers. Also the slide has larger space compatibility.
  6. My first system was the SNES, which I played Super Mario World on *good times*.Then it goes in this order if consoles after that: (ordered of obtainment)SNESGameboy ColourNintendo 64PSXXboxStarted to play Half Life 1 on PC, loved this, but still played XboxThen I played Half-Life 2 on PC and I haven't looked back at a console since.I've been playing Source games, modding source games, and playing some other computer games since.PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii can go get lost
  7. May I add that studies have shown that the Sun [sol] is roughly around 4.5 Billion Years Old. Our Universe is roughly 14.5 Billion years old. My physics teacher has said that according to studies on other suns in the Milky Way galaxy that are of similar size to our sun show that our sun has lived roughly half its life. So this means that the sun has another 5.5 billion years to go. So by that time life may still exist or it may not. The thing about that is that global warming is a myth. A period like the one we are experiencing now, with hot temperatures and frequent global disasters has happened before. It happened in the Medieval times, this was called the Medieval Warm Period. This happened around 1000 years ago, and had the same effects that we experience now. The after this occurred the Earth went through a Little Ice Age, which was separated by warm periods. This Little Ice Age was just a winter that occurred in places that don't actually get a cold winter. So there is nothing to fear about this Global Warming phase, nothing dramatic will happen. And if anything dramatic does happen, eg. Uncontrollable storms, etc. Then people will know what to do in these situations. I'll give this warm period another 200 years of similar climates from today, then a mini cold period and then back to normal.
  8. I suggest you may want to contact your Internet Service Provider on this issue. They should be able to give you instructions/steps on how to make the card compatible, give you drivers or help you on-site. You never know?
  9. I wonder how those people do those thing. Was his teeth embedded into his whole bone structure. It's scares the hell outta me. What would happen If he snapped his teeth. OUCH!Reminds me of all those people, like the guy that ripped those telephone book and the guy that pulled an airplane. ??? lol
  10. I need mappers for Counter Strike Source Mapping. I won't be paying, you need to work for free. Sry... But you will be featured on my site, and in map credits, and your own custom feature in the map. Map Project Information: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Just request to be in Studio and post on this thread if you want to be in, or just ask a question
  11. I agree with this. Alot of the things nowadays you can learn off of the internet. Even for free. Tutorials sites are helpful for this. I learnt everything I know about Photoshop and Level Mapping for source all off the internet. Especially the mapping, I know how to do everything with Hammer 4 and VTFEdit over a period of about 4 months, and this was after school times. But It seems the way i'm positioned in society today means that school is not optional for me.... (yay for education..... not )
  12. I live in Melbourne, Australia.I think we also have the third fastest internet in the world.Anyway that was a random fact that I like to share alot. There are many other facts like, Counter-Strike Source is still a popular game with over 400 servers located in Australia. And another fact is that Internet is the second most expensive compared to the Scandinavian countries.HAHA :)Anyway you should come to Australia, you might be able to steal more of our jobs :D.LOL [Australians will get that]
  13. I agree completely with that, That government system is similar to something that's communist or similar to the caste system in medieval times. One question to the topic op, Do you want to be a slave to your government? What do you think about the government system in Australia "triplebtalk"?
  14. My recommendation is to never play around with the Firefox setting unless you are someone who has helped in coding the browser itself. If the webpage will not load, it's probably a network failure on your ISP's end or could be a server down on the pages hoster. Also some plugins may have caused this error, its important you use the right mix of extensions and addons.
  15. I half agree with that. It's always good to have IE installed just incase you want to go to Windows Update or Certain Windows ONLY Functions. And the best of those three browsers woudl have to be Firefox. It's the most downloaded and most popular and it works, which is important. I've been using Firefox since the original beta and agree it gets better with every version. And I have also tried to use other browsers but they just don't make the cut. They are sluggish with performance, and use too much cpu. Yes I know Firefox uses alot of RAM at times. Although its easier to buy an extra Gig of RAM then to cry and whinge on the ground. Also there are tweaks for the RAM usage but I never find that they work.
  16. Sorry to all Opera Fans, I don't like it.... Mabye you should look into Firefox 3. Reasons why Firefox is good: Also my personal reason why I like firefox is that it has Greasemonkey: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ Also consider a download of Firefox: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
  17. History: [sourced from Wikipedia] My Views: As an atheist myself, I don't believe in any religions or such nonsense. I believe in science, but none of that Scientology stuff. I believe that Life as we see today was brought on by evolution, and that the planets and galaxies are remnants of what happened many years ago, As most studies would already state. Although I can consider that some religions like some forms of Buddhism are, lets say "aethiest", because they don't believe in any such god. Atheism is to not believe in sorts of religion, although just too accept that people do believe in them. There are many forms of Atheism as well, like the type of Atheism where you don't even care one bit about religion or belief and just carry on in life. Then there is the one, which I class myself as, that is in the middle where you understand about religion and you know about science. Then you can be into Strong Aethiesm where you argue about how all religion is utter rubbish and point out the weak spots in the religions, eventually breaking them down. My final point which will reinforce my topic sentence, is that I find that Atheism is not classed as a religion, but is the category of people who do not believe in a constant understanding of a god. And that an atheist is just someone who has knowledge of religion but does not follow it. Please post your views...
  18. Online Identities are actually starting to duplicate nowadays. But I manage just fine.Anyone can easily manage their identities. I find that most people fake alot of the information online. What do you think?
  19. I know a wallpaper database you might want to try. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Very, Very big database of wallpapers from anysize, I normally get the images to use in photoshop. This is similar to yout site, except in my opinion better, you should try. BTW your site is surprisingly very similar to google image results LOL
  20. Sounds like an exclusive government system. Which is bad. Anyway the government where I live is as good as it gets. [which is actually bad]Anyway One person cannot decide on a government system, you need a group of people that have concluding/similar idea that mesh together, they need to agree with each other and they cannot be higher than the people. If a member of that government commited crime, they would cop harsher penalties than the people. Execution as a penalty is a NO, NO. Killing is wrong even if the convicted has killed. He is better off in a Cell for the rest of there lives, with no appeal.Thats what I see as a government system.
  21. I think the Roman Empire was a fad for the big boys of politics and Law. (Also I think Poli is latin is Evil, and tics is Blood Sucking Creatures )Anyway the Romans got bored of the fad, and this is when the Empire broke down. It's like how other countries and empire ruled. Same thing happened there. Now it's Obama has control over alot of things, eventually this US over the World thing will stop soon, next country might be North Korea :/
  22. OMG Really, thats an interesting concept. Although instead of thinking mathematically, think Astronomy. It is calculated that the universe is 14.5 Billion years old and that our Sun (Sol) is 4.4 Billion [roughly] Now life has taken over 14 Billion years to evolve, well really thats all we know. What was there before the "Big Bang", life had to exist then. You never know the Universe, what we know today may have happened already. And what we experience today is part of a cycle, similar to the water cycle Let me explain. As we know the universe started over 14 Billion years ago. Now my theory is that The life we live today already existed before our Big Bang (14 billion years ago). Now this means that the life before the "Big Bang" Experienced the "Big Crunch" which is the end of the Universe, where gravity does its job and brings the galaxies together again. Now the cycle goes like this (simplified version) Big Bang > Formation of galaxies > Formation of Planets > Life > Evolution of Life > Advanced Evolution (we have not encountered this, basically what we now believe to be Sci-Fi) > Big Crunch. So finally I conclude with saying that life is Infinite through a Cycle. Although back to a previous topic I said that there's a possibility of Dimensions, That there could be a different dimension for every second, of every day of every month and so on. Then couldn't imagine what happens. Then forget about what I just said.
  23. We all know Google controls the internet......Anyway this would be more of a joke if it was true. Imagine if Google made it cheap, too. HAHAHAHA.
  24. The site I'm hosting on Xisto: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ This site is dedicated to my soon to be Source SDK Mapping Team. Just need some feedback/pointers/advice/etc on the site. Just a warning to 56kb users this is a shocker. Using a Flash XML template, Loud song at the start don't hesitate too turn volume up And remember this is still under constuction, only edited the logo, background, playlist, and team overview [which is 50% complete(overview)]. Thx, in Advance
  25. I like the new update, very well done. Personally I dont like the width of the site. [anyway dont take that into account I dont like large widths.]I'm rating it 7.5/10, i think the navibar needs a facelift, but everything else is super
