  1. No I would not want to know when I die. And there is no way of predicting it, it's impossible. There is no such thing as destiny. We always can change our future. This statment reminds me of the movie Final Destination??? B)Anyway so no it's not a good thing to know when you die. It will happen sooner or later, or if technology allows for invulnerability, Which is highly unlikely .
  2. All i'll say is that Earth is orbiting the Sun at around 200,000 km's a second. Crazy stuff does happen. :PI'm in the southern hemisphere, I don't really care which way it actually spins, I'm not dirty B)I'm not sure on the rotating speed of earth, I wonder what speed the water spins at ?????
  3. I find that the free version is good enough, reason is the plus and pro versions are more for companies and businesses. Not many features are added in the plus version anyhow, so I say just use the free edition
  4. This is similar to what I see is that all these terms are just something Humans thought of, just to explain things that were on paper and in Real-life. It's a tricky topic I must say, but there is a possibility for anyone's opinion to be true.
  5. Facts about our the universe, aka SPACE [hence the word universe in topic title] Saturn's Rings The density of Saturn is so low that if you were to put it in a giant glass of water it would float. The actual density of Saturn is 0.687 g/cm3 while the density of water is 0.998 g/cm3. We are moving through space at 530km a second The Milky Way is spinning at a rate of 225 kilometers per second. Also it is traveling through space at the rate of 305 kilometers per second. This means that we are traveling at a total speed of 530 kilometers (330 miles) per second. That means that in one minute you are about 19 thousand kilometers away from where you were. Scientists do not all agree on the speed with which the Milky Way is travelling - estimates range from 130 - 1,000 km/s. It should be said that Einsteins theory of relativity, the velocity of any object through space is not meaningful. The moon is drifting away from Earth Every year the moon moves about 3.8cm further away from the Earth. This is caused by tidal effects. Consequently, the earth is slowing in rotation by about 0.002 seconds per day per century. Scientists do not know how the moon was created, but the generally accepted theory suggests that a large Mars sized object hit the earth causing the Moon to splinter off. The light hitting the earth right now is 30 thousand years old The energy in the sunlight we see today started out in the core of the Sun 30,000 years ago - it spent most of this time passing through the dense atoms that make the sun and just 8 minutes to reach us once it had left the Sun! The temperature at the core of the sun is 13,600,000 kelvins, which in short is very hot. It would destroy your atoms pretty much. All of the energy produced by fusion in the core must travel through many successive layers to the solar photosphere before it escapes into space as sunlight or kinetic energy of particles. Uranus was originally called Georges Star When Sir William Herschel discovered Uranus in 1781, he was given the honor of naming it. He chose to name it Georgium Sidus (Georges Star) after his new patron, King George III (Mad King George). This is what he said: Uranus was also the first planet to be discovered with the use of a telescope. Metalic Welding If two pieces of metal touch in space, they become permanently stuck together This may sound unbelievable, but it is true. Two pieces of metal without any coating on them will form in to one piece in the vacuum of space. This doesnt happen on earth because the atmosphere puts a layer of oxidized material between the surfaces. This might seem like it would be a big problem on the space station but as most tools used there have come from earth, they are already coated with material. In fact, the only evidence of this seen so far has been in experiments designed to provoke the reaction. This process is called cold welding. Also some more things about space,
  6. Xisto is the best with their support, I support their system 100%.The support ticket system has never lets me down, whenever I get stuck I just submit a ticket and lately within 1 day I get a helpful response. And my rating rating on the system is 11/10 because it hasn't failed me once.
  7. Mr Rudd isn't that intelligient, I gotta say Howard was slightly more brainier than Kev. Anyway, I'm interested in this Government Fiber Optic Network that is been setup, the one that's apparently $40 Billion of taxpayers money. And then we still have to pay money to get any access to it, WTF. Are there any countries in the world that give out free super fast internet. That would be a dream come true for me
  8. Nice this is great.I like how the site is all lined up, it is easy to navigate through and the image optimization seems to be good. 8.5/10Just one question.....Is this all your own coding or is it all templates?
  9. I like it, nice and simple layout. I'm not a fan of SMF but the theme actually looks nice. Sorry I won't be signing up but I give it a 8/10
  10. I too saw the half-edited version of the movie. I did not like the movie. Firstly it didn't feel like an xmen movie and secondly it felt as if they rushed for an ending. The plot was hopeless, yes I know it's supposed to be a prequel but it was hopeless. It got very boring seeing the same thing over and over in this movie. The was a massive lack in authenticity in the characters and I say Wolverine didn't feel as if he was the same in the other three movies. I would not recommend people to go see this movie at the cinemas, wait for it on DVD.
  11. I guess that you would have to post a Xisto - Support Ticket in the support section of your account, I always get help answered when I submit a ticket. Mabye this will help
  12. Instead of a program why not try http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ It searches from a huge database of torrent sites. Seems to be very popular, although I don't use it, alot of the people I know do.
  13. For gamers Core 2 Duo is better because processing power is split more evenly in a 2 core than a quad core [that's what my sources say] and Quad cores are good for High-End Applications such as video editing applications, photoshop, premiere, and 3ds max/maya. Also i7-core processors are new, I guess they are that new that I don't know what their purpose is for.... probably both I guess.
  14. Remember not too count your posts, but to make your posts as detailed as possible then thats how you get MyCent points. This is to keep in mind to stop you from spamming randomly about random things. For me it took me about a month to earn the basic starter pack and a domain [as you can see in my signature] keep in mind to contribute to the forum.
  15. Well I know it can surf the web, it's just don't use it. I recommend Mozilla Firefox 3.0.9, best browser you can get. I heard Maxthon has no good features and has security problems.
  16. At the moment I am making a database for my friends phone contact information, I want to know how to make it so that I can type in the contacts Date of birth than Access can calculate the age. How would I be able to do that?
  17. This topic is sorta old, but why not add after so many years of technology changes. For the same price of a Intel Pentium 4, back in the day, now will get you possibly if the price is right an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 [overclockers dream apparently] anyway, my new comp which I'm getting Wednesday I'm getting an Intel Quad Core Q8200 [a bit weird but for the price I'm getting it at is a bargain]. Now AMD have advanced forward a bit too. Now you can pick up some good processors for less money. I know that the new Tri-Core [not sure on name] is around $300 AUD and some of their good Dual Cores are of similar price also. In my opinion, Intel is the Old Wise Company and AMD is the new guy. I'm not a crash hot fan of AMD but I have always used them in my computers that I own, finally a change with the new comp I'm getting. Also anyone looking for a good gaming CPU, get a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 or E8600, or for video editing get Quad Core Q8200. Or if you have money to through into the face of the computer guy buy yourself an i7-Core, I think the lowest price is just under $500 AUD.But wait i7-Core 3+ghz is over $2500 AUD ???One more thing just to shorten what I talked about, AMD is cheaper although not as reliable as Intel.
  18. Windows 7 is expected to have bugs, currently, because it is in it's BETA release. It's final version should have all these bugs fixed, then some rare bugs may emerge but they will be fixed by patches. Windows 7 Final looks to be promising and it fixes the annoyances from Vista and adds more uses than XP. The best of both worlds come as one in Windows 7. Most programs I'm surprised actually work on Windows 7. There is only one program that I have come across that has not worked, but it was some old freeware dock application. Although, if your not into the BETA version, I insist you wait, and use XP for the meantime.
  19. Although I have to say cheats/hacks are being developed by people all the time to bypass Steam's VAC Secure system. At least every month we see people with hacks that can bypass VAC, which I find insanely stupid. Steam does eventually patch the Steam Client so these hacks can not be used, but hacks/cheats will still be produced, it will never end.
  20. Gmail is better, it's faster and more reliable and you can use it in chat with MSN accounts. But I don't use Gmail lol I use hotmail, that's cause my friends use it, and its easier to communicate with them.
  21. In my view it's a tricky mod for IPB :PWhat I aim to do for most of or the majority of my posts is to make it as detailed and as easy to understand as possible. It is sometimes hard to do this, although if you want a quick boost just support the forum. Contribute to the community is the main aim, is it not? I don't really aim to spam, as this is not a good tactic and is not allowed. I just add to the community as much as I can, that seems to work for me. I now have a domain and I should have enough credits per month for the hosting [mine is the lowest, so its slightly easier ] but yeh, contribute as much as you can and the goods will follow.
  22. This is not entirely true, the reason is Adobe realeased some updates to the CS3 range following CS4's release. These updates have fixed bugs and what not. Yes CS4 does indeed have new features, including tool updates and 3d in PS, but I don't agree with the fact that it is better, CS4 has new bugs with certain GPU's and also certain processors, There are some problems with XP that I experienced aswell. CS3 still requires less RAM then CS4 that means it is more usable for people with lower end systems. Also products in the CS3 range in my opinion are faster to work with than CS4.
  23. Well thats what I was going to do with my Xisto website, by next year. Have alot of skilled and talented Source SDK Mappers [even people with Visual Communication Experience & Architectural Design Artists and what not] to make maps at the paid requests of customers that want a detailed map. They can talk, ask questions, submit plans on the forum. I guess years of experience in 1 map can be worth something. And also considering the flexibility of the source engine in that you can make just about anything. Although this cannot happen till I have gained more skill. I consider myself above average with the Source SDK, within 1 year I should be professional [or until I can remember everything and not need the use of tutorials ]. In time we can also find some coders and graphic artists, modellers and animators and possibly make a game. [but needs to be in the source engine, because that's the aim] Also if anyone is interested in joining my mapping team sign up at, http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ or http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ [when it activates OMG ] Ok Also to relate more closely with the topic, I have told some people to come to this site and signup. Also what positions/talents do you need? And Is it just [Web Designers, Flash Developers & Programmers]?
  24. Oh, sorry. Once you add the directory, then you can have a details page for each of those businesses. The details can be Webpage [if they have one], Address/contact, or any other detail that may be necessary.
  25. An easy way of getting out of a WoW addiction is too just play another game. Most people who have this addiction can only afford this game, then again its a fortune per year, that then relates to the addiction. Many other games offer tenfold the enjoyment you find in MMO's, like Crysis, or even World Of Goo. May I add Counter-Strike is not an MMO.
