I'm Officially Addicted To Tea... Anyone else?
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to Cerb's topic in General Discussion
I'm not addicted to tea since I try to avoid things with caffeen in it. Occasionall I still like to have a few chocolate candies or truffles. *mmm delicious* Two of my favorite teas however are Earl Grey, which has a lot of black tea in it. And black tea means a LOT of caffeen, so I have it very rarely in moderation. My other favorite tea is Orange ... something. I forget the second name to it. It tastes similar to Earl Grey, only it has more of a citriace taste. My third favorite tea doesn't have a lot of taste, but it is very healthy. It is Green Tea! The chineese use it as a medicidal hurb for improved health. The anti-oxidants are very good for people. Blue berries, beats, apples, and cranberries are also very good in anti-oxidants. For better health, people should drink Green Tea more often. -
Mcdonalds Or Kfc McDonalds or KFC
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to scab_dog's topic in General Discussion
I don't like either of them since they are both very greasy. If I had to choose, I would go for KFC. I used to be a cook there, and the food is clean. We had to wash our hands every time something was prepared, and wear gloves. I didn't like doing it every time, but I did appreciate the fact that they were concerned for their customer's health. It was also their reputation on the line since KFC occasionally gets hidden inspectors going in to order every now and then. If they were not satisfied with the cleanliness, service or the food, then they wrote a report and the managers would have been informed. -
I don't remember my most embarrasing moments, but for simply being embarrased, I'd have to say sleeping in on my first day of work at a new job. I didn't even show up at all because I slept the entire day. Thankfully they never fired me, but it was really embarrasing to show up on Tuesday as my first day of work. They let me go because it is a small quilting store. The owners are fairly old and they needed the help. I think that's why they never got rid of me. Plus, we all got along fairly well together.

Which Color Of Jeans Do You Like Best ur fav color
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to hulunes's topic in General Discussion
I like acid stained blue jeans most. Back in the days of high school, red and bright blue were popular, but it quickly phaised out. Black is obviously a popular choice as well, and it goes almost with anything, except a blue or purple shirt, in my opinion. So blue and black are my favorites, boring commonality but true. -
Musicals Do you like?and Which one?
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to Peaktao's topic in General Discussion
The best Musicals I loved when I saw them were.1. Beauty and the Beast I've been dying to see this great show again it was my all time favourite musical I've ever seen it has alot of humour and wonderfully sang, songs and a great cast I even have the soundtrack of it at home and I listen to it alot and when I do I remember pretty much everything that happened in this great master-piece. I loved it. I can't wait to see it again someday I loved this great and wonderful musical.2. Phantom of the OperaI thought this was a very interesting play it has nice music and a nice little story in it. Someday I might see the movie about it and see if it's anymore interesting than this one. But all in all this is a great musical that if it comes to your town you will have to go and see it at least once to see if you like it or not. But I thought it was a great play to see at least once.So those are my 2 favourite musicals I have seen and I liked. But I really do hope to see the Beauty and the Beast someday it was such a good play and musical I would truly like to see it again someday. I've seen previews on it tv sometimes but it's usually far from me. I am confident however that I'll see it again someday. -
Mcdonalds Or Kfc McDonalds or KFC
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to scab_dog's topic in General Discussion
It's impossible to pick because I absolutely love them both. McDonalds makes the best french fries in the world and Kentucky Fried Chicken while greasy is a good way to fill the hole in your stomach. So if I had to pick one and then the other I would first pick McDonalds because that's my number 1 favourite fast-food restaurant (Super Size me didn't scare me away from it at all). And Kentucky Fried Chicken is my second favourite I love Pop-corn chicken and I always love the Spices they put on their chicken. And they also make great french fries. So I will go for McDonalds as my favourite Fast-food restaurant. I'd choose them both if I could. -
Doing What For New Years? what are you doing?
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to rejected's topic in General Discussion
Go on more trips to Cancun Mexico and hopefully next year would be an even better year than this year. Continue to update my message board. Get rich hopefully. See if I can go on any Ghost walks and see if ghosts exist or not. Still work at my job and hopefully eventually get promoted to something big. Spend alot of time with my friends. Do some nice camping with my mom build some nice camp-fires and roast some Marshmellows. And maybe after Cancun Mexico go somewhere else that's just as bright and sunny. And plan for another trip in 2007. But that's a long ways from here. And I will soon see what 2006 brings me. -
You should try taking it to a computer technician again to have them look at it. Try re-installing WIndows again, but first do a basic computer setup so it is running just off of your motherboard, RAM, CPU, viseo, hard drive, and power supply to your monitor. From there you will be able to see if it is a hardware problem or software. Judging from the image, it may also need to be formatted and have your OS re-installed again. Contact your computer vendor and if it is still under warranty, see what they can suggest to you. After a while, everything will have problems, get corrupted and/or break down. I hope you get it up and running soon. Good luck and happy trails.

I've seen this topic many times before. AMD is clearly the best chip to buy, period. Don't evern consider buying an Intel, they're a waist of money.

From my experience, the more RAM you have the better. Todays computers actually have about 1024 MB, or 1GB of memory to power their PC. Some home computers even go as large as 2GB. The demand for RAM will always grow, but the more you have, the less wear and tear there will be on your computer. For example, if you open many applications and tools at the same time, you use a lot of RAM. Once you run out of your available RAM, then your hard drive makes Page Files, which immitates RAM, but it is extremely slow. It's like comparing a turtle to a Viper. One is extremely fast, while the other is sluggishly slow. It also is hard on the hard drive. hehe So buy as much RAM as you can afford, and put it in your computer. Your computer will thank you for it by running far faster, and with an extended lifespan. Windows XP is a hog when it comes to RAM, and it always will use up 2/3 of whatever is in your computer. I'm hoping the next version of Windows, called Vista coming out sometime next year will not be such a hog, but knowing Microsoft, they'll make the minimum specs be 1/2 a GB, or 512 MB minimum. To run properly, it will probably need 1GB.

Yahoo Mail Beta New Look for Yahoo Mail
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to cse-icons's topic in Science and Technology
I've seen your pictures of the Yahoo Beta they're planning on releasing. It's all pretty and nice, but my main concern will always be security and encryption. I've never had any problems with Yahoo before, and I'm sure I never will. They offer outstanding services that are always running 24/7. It will be exciting to see companies such as Yahoo and Google compete to offer larger and larger capacities of e-mail space to the public in order to spark their interest and gain more customers. Technology gets cheaper daily, and continues to grow at an amasing pace. It will be exciting to see how the future unfolds, and scarry at the same time. -
Nice technology. :DMaybe in about 10 years or so, it will become comon in the general public to own paper thin televisions, but until then, it's still not here yet. The plasma televisions they have now only last about 5 years before they burn out. Maximum I would say would be 10 if you're really lucky. Before new technologies come out that are paper thin, I think they first need to find new and better ways to make current and future technologies last just as long as the good old T.V.s that we had about 20 years ago. Many of them were expensive, but they sure did have a long lifespan. I'd say between 15 and 20 years! If paper-thin T.V. lasted that long at a competitive price, I would consider buying one. Until then, no thanks!!

I don't think flying cars will go 350, since people need to manage the speed at which they drive. Consider all the old people out there who can barely drive 20 in a 60 zone! There was someone really slow in front of me driving about 10km/h when the limit was 50. It drove me almost nuts considering I couldn't pass him. The old guy finally pulled over to his parking spot, but seriously, I think old people should get tested to see if they post a threat or burden to people who drive. That's just my opinion on the matter.

Copyright Protection What is...Copyright protection?
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to rejected's topic in General Discussion
Copyright protection means that something cannot be copied simply because it is registered by a company as being the owners of a particular image or logo. I think it applies mostly to products though, but I could be wrong. -
Double Jeopardy, that's when they play for double the money I think. It's when things get heated up and there are larger stakes involved when asking the questions to the answers.

What Is Distributed Computing?
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to psychiccyberfreak's topic in General Discussion
I would have simply said distrubuted computing is a form of networked computers all working together among office professionals and home communities. -
This is indeed a problem. So many of the website abilities are enabled that it makes it difficult on others due to e-mails, people running scripts to test the server's limits, and just messing around in general. I wish that people would be more considerate of this website. It's not just affecting Xisto.com, but everyone else who has an account here as well. Things have improbed quite a bit I've noticed, so I hope it continues to stay this way into the 2006 new year.Oh, by the way, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

Mortal Kombat: Plug In And Play
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to LeAnn Rimes My Angel's topic in Computer Gaming
I see certain games are coming out on the Plug in and play games. If there's any games I would like to own someday is the Simpsons Arcade game hopefully they put that on their game controllers someday. And the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game that was in the arcades once those are the games I would certainly like to own from "Plug in and Play" someday I really would. It would save me from looking for arcades that still have these old games people have to pay to play. But when it comes out on the "Plug in and Play" thing then people will only have to buy them once but play them forever. I really do hope they release the Simpsons the arcade game and the turtles game I really do hope. I loved those games they were my absolute favourites and I do hope I get to play them again someday. -
In some games I like to play games without using cheats (Makes the game more challenging) and the only time I might start using cheats is when everything is unlocked and the cheats are only there for moral support. But if I buy a game like Street Fighter Alpha where to unlock certain characters on the hardest levels then I'll use the invinciblity cheats because otherwise it would be impossible to beat the game. But in some games that don't come with cheats at all like the "Mummy Returns". I can usually finish off a game in just a day. I used cheats only once in the Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith game only once but then I started playing without cheats to unlock everything then I found the game a whole lot more fun because I did everything myself.

A few short weeks ago I bought this game because like everyone who has ever played the Matrix games. Have always wanted to play as Neo "The ONE". And there's a few things about this game I like and not so much. The combo system is alot of fun and can now kill agents now. And the thing with the game I wished is that it could be just like Grand Theft Auto where you can go anywhere you want and do whatever you want to do. I would love to be able to fight as Neo and choose to fly up high in the sky just to skip certain things. But the only time you do any kind of flying in the game is at the end of the game when you take on Agent Smith. But you can't choose to go up or down you're pretty much just flying there on and invisible track or something. And it's a one player game I would like to play this game in one play or 2 player I think it would be a little more fun. But the things I do like are that when you beat the game on certain levels of difficulty you get cheats where you don't need to put in codes or anything you just go into the menu and see what cheats you want to use and then just simply click them and use them. And fighting multiple opponents are also alot of fun. And it can be challenging. And the only way to get everything unlocked in the "Path of Neo" screen is to play a fresh game. But after that you can only use certain things but can't get access to anything else once you load up a game you want to play a game again. So I think of this game as a game that has alot of Pro's and Cons. Now let's see how everyone likes this game. Is it any better than the other Matrix Games or is it just another disappointment?

Inside Microsoft's Xbox 360
LeAnn Rimes My Angel replied to 9khonnei's topic in Science and Technology
It is a very powerful gaming console, but buggy as well I heard. Many of the first peolple in line who got their chance to pick up and buy the release of the Xbox 360 have had issues such as the game crashing, and even freezing at the start up during the display of the Microsoft screen. It could be possible that Microsoft sent out this early release as a way of getting the public to test the system to report it's problems. If this is the case, then they are similar to lab rats.Sony on the other hand seems to be waiting silently before it releases the Playstation 3. They have to remain competitive with technology, but most of all with the quality and feel of the gameplay. They had a great start off with the Playstation 2, but gradually the games were not as good. Meanwhile around 2000 and 2001, Microsoft was releasing games that were not as great as the Playstation 2 games, yet it's processing power was far more higher. Now the Xbox 260 has four Pentium 4 CPUs (so I heard), and a custom made ATI graphics card, that ATI granted all the rights to Microsoft to play with in order to gather a business partnership. I hope ATI doesn't get screwed with this offer they are granting. It could mean very large financial loses if Microsoft chooses to take advantage of them, just as they tried against Nvidia. Then again, business is business, and history has a tendancy to repeat itself, especially when it comes to Microsoft and it's business deals with other companies.
