  1. My new computer would randomly shut down all of the time and than I guess my antec 500 watt psu died or my cpu died (im not sure) so now when I press the power switch the fans will rev up slowly and than stop and the monitor power light will shut off at the same time. I am starting to think that it was a ram problem though because I am using the same ram that I used in an intel based motherboard with a celeron processor. Can someone tell me if this ram is compatible with my motherboard/processor? http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ My new computer rig consists of a asus A8N5X motherboard,Radeon X800 XL,San Diego 3700+ video card,Seagate 160 GB SATA HDD, and a Standard CD ROM drive. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  2. All of the software on my HDD is old. Should I reformat my HDD? Thanks for the help.
  3. I have recently received my new computer hardware and at first I couldn't get anything to run so I went out to best buy and I purchased a 500 watt pus and everything would turn on BUT when I turn on my computer I hear one beep and than it will shut off within 30 seconds. When I disconnect my CD drives my computer will still beep once when I turn it on but it wont shut off and I have to go into to safe mode. The error that I got was oxoooooo7e oxcoooooo5 oxba288750 oxba4e3430 oxba4e312cThe only things that I am using in my new computer that isn't new is my internal harddrive and both of my internal cd drives that came with my dell dimension 3000. The new hardware that I have are an asus a8n5x motherboard, radeon x800XL video card, 1 gig of kingston ddr ram, AMD 3700+ Diego, old harddrive that I used in my dell dimension 3000, and a antec antec neo HE500 psu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
