BUFFALO!!! YEAH! I can't believe Buffalo Sabres actually did play well! The sportsbar where I watched the last game went nuts, drinks were on the house and my bill for the night was comped by the manager. What a night, what a game! I'm not sure if I'm more happy I didn't pay a single dime tonight or I'm actually happy that Buffalo is doing something that can be recognized nationally :)They said young and unknown team players were not going to be any good in the beginning of the season. Well eat my shorts! ha ha ha. Perhaps it takes team of unknown players to shake things up. Whoa boy!

Colors are actually a measurement of wave spectrum that is "bounced" off of a surface with specific wavelength and color temperature. Therefore, however we named it, the temperature and wavelength cannot be changed. The average daylight is measure with temperature of 5000K. With this standard (a normal white light which is constant) a color blue shows anywhere between 440nm to 485nm. Human eye can be detailed but not by so much that these "blue" range is only distinguished to one color. Therefore, blue is blue. However blue may not be called blue if you were brought up to be calling that specific color not as blue but as dark blue, for example. But the universal acceptance of prime colors are set by the light wavelength, which is indisputable. Any deviance from the norm color is usually the lack of one's cones and rods present in one's eyes that transmits signals to one's brain. The extreme case of this deviance is called, color blind.

It is always wise to practice safe-guard with your login information. It is perfectly alright for feeling uncomfortable sharing your login information with anyone. When I have to create hosting for you, I will have to make cPanel login info that may not be something you'd want. That is why I have asked for your desired cPanel name. When I choose a password for your cPanel and should you decide to change it back, it will cost you 10 hosting credits. And thus, I've asked you for desired password. So instead of going through this hassle I thought I would try to create your account using the process page. This will tell me what step was taking a glitch for you to create your own account. So far this is what I know:Your domain change has failed, as the message says, but the domain http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ leads to temp page. However, vanillaskye.org lead to your Xisto sub-domain. This tells me that your A Name is also changed instead of just nameserver. ORG domains are bit fussy that way. Please check your domain name control for correct nameserver and make sure nothing else is touched.

If you're asking can you use your domain name purchased with Xisto hosting account, the answer is yes. Please be specific with your question so that there isn't any confusion to your question.You can either have the purchased domain name to be your main domain name. This advantage/disadvantage has been discussed in topic "Parked domain or addon domain" please refer to it. To change your hosting account to link with your purchase domain, go to the PROCESS page and change your domain/sub-domain name. And, access your domain DNS control and change nameserver to ns1.trap17.com and ns2.trap17.com.Your second option is to just "addon domain" using your cPanel. This will create a folder in your dictation and have a full hosting under your Xisto hosting account. Please refer your question to "Parked domain vs Addon domain" for further discussion.

To shift for re-synch, click on Timeline mode (bottom left icons, or for updated versions please refer to HELP) and you'll see two tracks: 1 for video and 1 for audio with time frame displayed at the top. Note that I'm not sure if the latest Movie Maker can split video and audio tracks. If you cannot move them independently, please use TMPGEnc to split audio from video and save them as two different files. Just drag and drop your files and move them by sliding back and forth. The first problem is that when you import to your computer, you should not have any mis-synch. This is usually because either your computer processor is slow or your import hardware is incompatible. USB connection uses a lot of CPU resource and thus I always recommend Firewire as the only way to capture from an external source.Check to see if your importing software is leaking in RAM. Your computer is trying to import two streams, actually, one is video and one is audio. And after complete import it takes a few moment to recompile as a whole file. However, for the lack of better words, when something isn't synchronized right it will have de-synch issue like yours.So FIRST fix your hardware. Second, for the files you already have now, split them into two files: audio and video. Free software called TMPGEnc will allow you to split them to two. De-Synch or Avid, used by many Divx users, will also do easy synch work. You can then import audio and video using Windows Movie Maker as two and slightly off set either the sound or video. And bam! all free software and re-synched.

Please do not use special characters when entering cPanel username and password. Only alpha-numerics (do not use hyphen, underscore etc).

You have the complete control over your hosting account. Cpanel is your control interface where you set up different database, block hotlink, monitor bandwidth etc. You have your own FTP access or upload files via cPanel. Therefore, you have 100% control over how your webpage will look (using various codes, templates, scripts etc). From your home computer, try pinging your domain name. Open the command window (Start > Run > type CMD and enter). Then type ping http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and see if the IP address returns. If no response is showing up then it's the connection between your ISP and your server. Perhaps your firewall, ISP or someting between your computer and ISP is/are blocking the proper connection. If you cannot resolve the issue with a quick solution, click on Xisto Readme in my signature and look for "Editing HOSTS file" topic. Enter your dedicated IP address after 127.0.0.1, save it and try entering your URL in browser again. Another thought: check your browser security setting and blocked/trusted site listing. Add your domain names as part of trusted site.

UNI.CC is not a domain name but a redirect service. So access your UNI.CC account and enter your Xisto sub-domain name (minus the index file name). This is so that when you decide to have .php instead of any other file extension, you do not need to edit your UNI.CC account.

Hummm I've seen this kind of service before...and I can't seem to recall where I saw it. Oh yeah! Yahoo! Geocities. Except no ad banners of any kind like previous members mentioned. Although you might think that this is a direct competition with Xisto, if you are here at Xisto you'll know the limitations of Google Pages. However, I'm sure some people will find Google Page service to be useful. So for those who mentioned that google stopped signing up get yourself a gmail invitation and create a page. The major differences between Google Page and Xisto dot NET are 1) Xisto do NET allows you to use your own domain 2) Xisto dot NET offers database

Good job! Thanks for take your time making these renders for all of us. Just a question: is your png alpha channel clear? I can see that the larger size has transparent background but the thumbnail shows little more than that.

I have seen forum being sold that way. A forum will build a good traffic and then sold to the highest bidder. However, at the stage in internet domain names, it'll be harder to find a good domain name to sell. All "simple and easy to remember" domain names have been taken and they too are forsale at high prices.However, you never know what people are willing to do on the internet. Yes I noticed that. That's why I suggested to backup the files and recreate it again. The addon domain and ftp information is missing. For reasons unknown to me at this time, the important thing to do is to back up the folder, delete the folder from your hosting and recreate (readd) the domain again.

garbage, Please stay on the topic. This thread was to inquire about missing addon domain name. For your question please read http://forums.xisto.com/topic/21909-trap17com-subdomain-add-parked-domain-is-this-possible-allowed/ fully and make your question there for more. But to answer your question, it's totally up to you. If you park your domain, you can access your hosting two ways: yourdomain.whatever or subdomain.trap17.com. If you change your hosting to your domain name, there's only one way to access your hosting. Either way, it will work perfectly. Parking your domain is usually practiced with multiple domain names, i.e. site.com, site.net, site.org...etc to point to one hosting. But there's nothing wrong with parking your domain name to your subdomain of Xisto. Addon is great for having individual access to each domain name tied to your hosting. For example, you can have different login and password for domain1 and domain2 when you use addon domain feature. But remember that only one cpanel per hosting account unless you share your login and password. For more information please check the above link and inquire there.

It's under the folder starts with "r"? The sub-domain for that does not exist. Was this add-on domain sub-directory renamed after created?Anyway, before it goes too late backup the directory. Delete the "r" directory and re-add the domain to create it once more. Then, upload/extract backed up files for the original contents.

Beagle gets my vote. itsmyard's sig was a good one but the render did not show through (unless that was the effect itsmyard was going for). It seemed like the background was showing through the render. Savge17 was good too except I felt that the whole right-side was not utilized enough. SM did some eye-catching effect of placing his initials as part of the jersey but I gave my vote to Beagle for using the full area and using what I like--the F1 <_<Avalon:0Se?or Maniac:0Saint-Michael:0itsmyard:0Beagle:2savge17:0
