  1. NORDÖSTERSJÖKUSTARTILLERIFLYGSPANINGSSIMULATORANLÄGG- NINGSMATERIELUNDERHĹLLSUPPFÖLJNINGSSYSTEMDISKUSSIONS- INLÄGGSFÖRBEREDELSEARBETEN but it means "preparatory work on the contribution to the discussion on the maintaining system of support of the material of the aviation survey simulator device within the north-east part of the coast artillery of the Baltic," according to 1996 Guinness. found that at this site thats the longest word in Sweden. it has 130 letters. its amazing that other languages can have one word for something that is a whole phrase in english. and of course vice versa. i dont know anything of what the definition for it means but i think it has to do something with planes and flying because its says it has to do with aviation but that beats me
  2. dont ever wear it in a pool.
  3. my alarm clock rings at 6:30 and i keep pressing the snooze button every 9 minutes till 7:06 which is when i get up. i take a shower of course, get dressed, put on contacts and brush my teeth. then i trudge slowly to the kitchen since i have a ton of heavy stuff to bring to school (binder, violin, a lot of textbooks) to make me a quick cup of cappucino which i put in a cube or two of ice to make it cool down faster because i drink it as fast as i can and imagine how that would be if it was still steaming hot. i get the premade kind of salad from the fridge, put some in a styrofoam bowl and put foil over it for my lunch. then my dad comes out of his room ready to go so i grab a croissant from the fridge if there's even anything breakfast-y and hop into the car to go to school.and then, once i get to school, i head straight towards the restroom. there i do my hair and makeup. and i'm not the only one to do that either. there's probably 3 to 5 girls who go in a little after me to do the same thing. my hair is usually still wet since i dont have time to dry it. if i do have time to dry it or even dry and straighten it, i have to actually wake up when my alarm rings the first time. so i do all that in the restroom. then i go to the choir room where me and my friends hang out and i eat my breakfast there if i had brought any. my day really doesnt start until lunchtime when the coffee i i had in my cappucino kicks in. and then my day ends the next day around 1 in the morning when i finally go to sleep then wake up around 7 to do it all over again.i think i'm considered sleep-deprived.....
  4. i say to avoid them. if they wont stop picking on you and they follow you around everywhere, confront them and tell them to stop. scream at em all you want cuz thats probably what i would do. they'll probably back off then but if they dont, just walk away and tell an adult you trust. you dont want to get into trouble for fighting with them and even if its hard not to give them a punch that they really deserve, the best thing is to just take a breath and walk away to tell someone
  5. my school is a junior high so the 9th graders, like myself, are the only real high school kids. but even so, there's still the cliques. my school is considered the preppy school of all the other junior highs in the city. we have preps and semi-popular kids, both are divided into good and bad preps. then we have punk/goths, no real goths at my school. there's the normal kids who are just laid back and arent really the spotlighted ones. there's the quiet ones with their own little group. the smart ones at my school arent considered nerdy or anything because they're most likely in the semi-popular crowd. then there's the kinda strange kids who are considered just plain weird. and also the ghetto ones who seem to be taking over the school. so he have a lot different cliques and these are only 7th-9th graders.we're all pretty interlinked, too. mostly because some grades share classes like in art and then cliques in each grade are mixed together in music classes like choir and band so everyone has friends in other cliques. but there is a ton of drama at my school.....
  6. a few quick questions, or well, maybe not so quick since they're really lengthy. i have enough credits for the 2nd hosting package but i still gotta clear up just a few more things because i'm just a really hesitant person about everything. i think i get the idea of the credits system but just to make sure before i request hosting... 1. every day that i'm not active on the forum, will i lose a credit? 2. this kinda goes with the first question. right now i have enough credits for the 2nd package. lets say i get a site today here at trap. if each day i dont post, i lose a credit, then how many credits under would it take for my site to be deleted. i dont wanna go down to like 29 credits and have it deleted 3. so would that mean each month i'm hosted, i need to gain another 30 credits? and how do i know that i have to gain a certain amount of credits more to get the required amount? does my hosting credits reset or something? if i got more than 30 credits for the month, will i still have those remaining credits the next month? 4. if my site gets deleted, do i lose all my credits? if i gain enough credits again and get hosted, do i have to start my site all over again? can i still keep the same domain/subdomains? how would people who linked to the site see it, would it be a 'page not found' kind of page 5. so my domain/subdomain url does not need to have Xisto in it? if i want the url of the domain to be amour-toujour.net (amour toujour means 'love always' in french) is that ok? and then i could link Xisto as my host on just the domain? 6. how would i do #5? or should i make another post in some other forum for that? if i need to post it somewhere else, where do i post it? 7. so with the 2nd package, since i'm active in the forum, i can have one domain, unlimited subdomains, no banner ads whatsoever on my site..... and its all for FREE?!?!?!?!?! thanks! Notice from BuffaloHELP: Topic title changed.
  7. thanks for the great tutorial. i think i've been completely clueless on the simple stuff that make images stand out, like motion blurring. i only do the motion blur once and even if i'm not satisfied, i leave it that way. so now i know how to really do it. i'll be sure to try it soon
  8. lol, i agree, go out for a cup of coffee together. a nice little cafe is the best place to relax and have some good conversation. get to know a bit about her and she'll get to know you better, too. do a little flirting and she'll probably get the idea that you're interested in her, naturally. because girls dont take long to get the clue that a guy might be interested if he's actually showing it. and she'll respond honestly. if you like her, then go for it. dont wish to meet another girl just like her because no one is gonna be just like her. whether or not she accepts to be your girlfriend is a little thing. if she says yes, thats great! if no, then at least you got to know her and you can just be friends. being friends is better than nothing. but i like said, if u like her, go for it and ask her to go out with you!
  9. i havent had a boyfriend but i dont really care about it. i've only been asked out twice but i turned both of them down. i just have a bunch of boy friends who will always remain just boy friends. and i'm simply content with that, for now that is. i havent really liked anyone so thats probably part of the reason i havent had a boyfriend yet so its ok if u havent had a gf. maybe u havent really liked someone either or maybe the girls at ur school arent ur type
  10. i'm a big fan of hp. read all the books and i think as each one comes out, i get more caught up reading them that it takes less and less time to read. the 6th one took me about a day and a half. i wouldnt say i'm crazed and i do mean in the crazy obsessed way but i do love it. probably because reading/watching hp is like escaping to a magical world where you dont have to think about problems in the real one. and there's so much adventure that never endsand the fact that the actors are english with that amazing accent and gorgeous, especially dan radcliffe and tom felton, adds a little to my interest of hp, too but i liked the books before i even saw the movies so its all good
  11. man, passion of the christ was a really hard movie to handle. i dont think there was a woman in that theater not crying. i was almost in tears myself. but to take a little kid to a movie like that? the bible says how he was tortured, would you really want little kids to see that? gawd, talk about nightmares for life! seriously, mothers, be responsible and dont take your little 7 year old to a rated R movie.well, back to the topic. hmm 3 harry potter movies rated pg and then all of a sudden, the goblet of fire movie is pg-13. i wonder what that means...... maybe just maybe there could be a bit of fantasy violence or frightening images? *gasp!* so maybe its not as ok for little kids to watch as it was for the last three. if the mom had seen any previews/special outtakes like on extra or other shows who dedicated a whole show for behind the scenes looks at hp4, then she woulda known that maybe her daughter wasnt ready to watch it yet. everyone says harry potter is getting into more danger as the books/movies progress. he's going to battle the dark lord and has to overcome other dangerous things to do that, it was quite obvious that in the 4th movie he wasnt going to be playing in a field of flowers and welcomed to a quaint little cottage by a bunch of animals who would look after him. and we actually saw mad eye moody changing back to barty crouch this time instead of it being like in the bathroom stall like it was in the 2nd movie. as everyone in hp gets older, so do the people watching it so the hp story gets more mature as well as the ratings. and of course, like everyone said, ratings are there for a reason
  12. any shade of blue is nice. i really like cerulean blue if i have to be specific. then bright melon-color orange and bright golden yellow are tied next and both of those go great with the cerulean. anything bright, spring colors really, because they just make me feel cheery
  13. well what i do when i'm trying to get a pixel's color is i press the print screen button on the keyboard, open up photoshop, paste it, zoom in to where the pixels are visible, and use the eyedropper tool to click on the pixel i want the color of. the color goes to foreground color box so click on that twice. a color picker box comes up and at the bottom of it is # beside a textbox. in that textbox is the code of that color so copy and paste that to whereever you need it and there ya go!
  14. i like going with the classic dark blue, too. it matches anything including whatever funky colors you have of different shirts. as long as they're faded, i'll wear em. i do like those jeans that had the dirt rubbed on them but they do wash out when you laundry them so there's not really a point to buy em dirty unless you're only gonna wear them one time. but of course thats a waste of money.
  15. i got the code i use for one of my sites at lissa explains it all. its a html help site for kids so its really really basic and you shouldnt have any problem at all using it. she has the code on there free to use and its just a simple email form that you just fill in your info andyou're ready to use it
