I, too, have the 127.0.0.1 as the last logged in IP address. Before speculating please be patient until OpaQue can provide us with the right answer. It is not a bug in the system but it may be a fault in cpanel IP recognition script (due to internal firewall).Xisto Corporation does not access one's cPanel without a consent or prior communication.

I have been playing around the similar call with GFXTrap.com and I am using $something = $_REQUEST["variable"] as my required input before submitting. As I understand it, $_POST[ ] accepts no matter what when submit button is pressed. Using $_REQUEST allows to place Boolean condition before submitting.

Cgi Files? where does this script belong?
BuffaloHelp replied to spy_charly's topic in Web Hosting Support
Well that's better than myname@someusinversity.department.edu before... If you are the only recipient to submitted email then I guess it really does not matter. However, since the mail service is through gamma.xisto.com and our hosting server's name is gamma, I personally do not have the control over that. I would suggest you contact OpaQue or send queries to Helpdesk (xisto.com/helpdesk) and see if there's a way of doing it. -
Cgi Files? where does this script belong?
BuffaloHelp replied to spy_charly's topic in Web Hosting Support
Simply the answer is yes. It makes calling your script easier. However, if I'm not mistaken you're trying to send information over the email using form? There's built-in script called cgimail and you can find a short tutorial here: How To Use Xisto Cgi Formmail -

This topic is now unpinned. The un-suspension script is working fine. If your hosting account has been suspended, bring it up to 5 credits and wait 1 hour (by then you'll be at credit 4). And when the script runs just about every 1 hour, your hosting credit will be around 4 and thus will be un-suspended.Please search the forum and know what you are expected as a member of Xisto.Thank you all.

I Am Search For An Old Anime ee kiu san - Shinseh
BuffaloHelp replied to zillax's topic in General Discussion
Try describing an episode that you can remember, because the word "shinseh" or sensei means a master or a teacher. It's too generic or common for just about all anime. "ee kiu san" means Mr. ee kiu or ee kiu sir. We have few anime enthusiasts here in the forum. Maybe they'll recall something when you can provide more information. -
Please do not encourage the spammer by replying or rebuttal. I understand your curiosity but no one from Nigeria needs to know your personal information, including your age and bank account number. This was investigated by 20/20 News team back in 1998 and turned out to be a complete scam. I know that you know it's a scam but it worries me that you actually replied to the spammer. Please let's not encourage this person by nipping the spam right at the root. The more exposure this person gets the more he/she is likely to do it again and again. It is highly recommended that you make your email address and contact information from your profile "hidden" and private. You can do this by going to your control panel and select Email Settings on the left menu side. Thanks everyone.

Cpanel Access-mod Check Please Cpanel not loading
BuffaloHelp replied to Goosestaf's topic in Web Hosting Support
Please PM me with your login information and allow me to give it a try. In the meantime, when I get a hold of OpaQue, I'll ask around to see if anything can be done from Xisto side. -
Cpanel Access-mod Check Please Cpanel not loading
BuffaloHelp replied to Goosestaf's topic in Web Hosting Support
Goosestaf, Bring your credits above 5, wait 1 hour and try again. Since your account is still on suspension mode it's hard to say at this point. If you weren't able to gain access all last week, perhaps your browser is asking you to verify the security certificate? I had mine done recently. Without clicking YES to security certificate shown by your browser cPanel will not load up. -
French Fries With The Condiments Inside
BuffaloHelp replied to kevlar557's topic in Science and Technology
Whoa hold on... I was thinking about the similar idea way back in 80's. Yes folks, I am that old... :)Here's what I had until the faithful day...when I burnt my mouth. What if the ketchup can be made with something solid? And when fried for certain period of time it sort of melts but cools quickly? I had this idea when I was eating mozzarella sticks (or also known as cheese sticks where mozzarella sticks are covered with bread crumbs and deep fried). Huh? Sounds possible? Well I hold a patent to gluten agent that can bond with ketchup but I can't get ketchup to behave similar to mozzarella cheese when deep fried. Any chemist out there? -
Bingo! I don't have all the facts now but it is geared towards "SEO" with a twist. There is another business proposed for Xisto and OpaQue is ironing out the entire outline. According to a little birdie, there were additional servers added to accommodate OpaQue's first phase of "taking over the world." LOL Well at least taking over the net world. I do apologize if this word sticks out like a sore thumb. Please be patient until everything gets worked out.

Please PM me with your desired username. You have three options: you can change just the login name, your display name or both. Until this change request goes out of hands I am willing to do it out of courtesy. Perhaps I should think about charging a little fee
