I think if a person can drink responsibly that the drinking alcohol itself isn't bad. It's bad when that person cannot handle the alcohol's effect and gets into a car and drives, become belligerent, act inappropriately etc is when drinking is bad. Alcoholism also runs in the family. Do you think your mom's afraid that you may catch on that illness? Hummm. Have you asked her not to drink and she agreed? You see wine, when drank with food, is less likely to hinder judgment compare to just straight out drinking. And when you drink basically your stomach already absorbed food or in an empty stomach. So, regarding your post, I guess your mom doesn't want you to pickup a bad habit. When she drinks a whole bottle how long does that take for her to finish that bottle? And how many drinks do you have when you party with your friends in how many hours? When you do the math, of course everybody will have different time to metabolize alcohol, if you drink 1 drink per hour you body can take the blow. If your mom drinks more than that, then you and she should sit down together and come up with a solution not to drink too much. It's not fair for her to ask you not to drink (unless you're under aged) when she herself drinks in front of you. Wine or beer, they all have the same effect on biochemistry level.

Holy moly! Frozen, awesome works! I specially like the "Velocity" the best. Your work is just keep getting better and better. And the way you present all your works is very professional.On the side note, is that how Photobucket's album feature looks like? I like it a lot. Oh I didn't see the second page. Always backup your files off site--meaning at your hard drive or some place safe. If your cPanel gets hacked in, the hacker can't do that much of damage except disrupt your service and delete all your things. OpaQue has now set up this like https://support.xisto.com/ and you can select the option 7 to reset your cPanel password. You can reset your password and enter and make it all right again. Then you can reload all your backed up files from your hard drive or from a safe place. See? If your handle gets banned or disabled from posting, you can always PM administrators and they can check correct the issue. There are logs that can track which names are logged in by which IP. So administrators will know right away that it wasn't you. As long as your IP is not banned from this forum you can create a temp ID and contact administrators, IF and only if you cannot get to this forum. But the bottom line, no Xisto does not back up your site for you. You have to do that yourself. Okay?

It seems to me that they pre-wrote those scripts or exploits before hand. And it seems like a good idea for them to release their creation once the weather tragidy occurred. When you are posting look to the left of the box you are typing into and you will see BB Code Help link under those smilies. Oh great.. Thank you St. Michael for posting and thank you Arfa for confirming that I am not special anymore ;)I feel like the biggest failure right now. When I was 10 I was lucky if I brought back my lunch box home. My biggest enjoyment was finding a slug and pour salt all over it. My daily study included addition of double digits and reading for some school challenge. Even then, reading 10 pages was hard enough! And I was so proud of myself when I graduated from my masters...at early 30s because I shaved 1 year ahead of my schedule... LOL I guess I shouldn't gloat in front of Arfa.

ashiezai nailed it to the floor!I had the exact same problem. But it didn't happen from the beginning. As I gradually started to store more stuff in my hard drive that I noticed this phenomenon. It's the combination of your available disc space (because sometimes Windows will use your disc space for some virtual memory) and available RAM. The problem of Windows player acting bit sluggish increased as I queued more songs to be played. So I made sure I had at least 20% of my total hard drive to be free, I have upgraded my computer from 256MB to 512MB and I queue no more than 1 hour?s worth and I am just fine these days. I'm sure my situation might be different from others but give that a go.

You can request to administrators to delete your forum account if you don't want to leave any trace. But we'll miss your postings then ;)Or, you can simply not post and let the site die on its own. I just filled up. It was $3.979 a gallon and my little Nissan Altima just ate my lunch and my dinner money--total of $47.75. And that was the Regular gas grade (87 octane). What am I going to do? I have to drive to University of Connecticut next week and it's like 500 miles from where I'll be starting. My poor little car can only give 32 miles per gallon in highway. I am so worried... and I can't even spring for new hybrid car because I just dumped it in my house renovation. Somebody up there isn't watching out for me at the moment...PS. a little hint to maximize your fill up. Because most electronic pumps are measuring the gas flow by pressure, it's best to fill your tank either early in the morning or very late at night when the temperature is cool. During the hot days, the heat will cause underground gas to expand (due to the nature of fumes and gas evaporating but still trapped inside) and exerts higher pressure. So essentially that first puff you pump is nothing more than pressurized gas. And you are paying for that empty fuel.

Strawberries and bananas together are too sweet for me. Remember, this is a healthy shake--so put away that sugar jar and anything chocolate! I found out that little strawberries, raspberries (for a slight tart taste) and cantaloupes and blend it with a splash of orange juice makes the best combination for me. It's bit acidic so it'll get that stomach functioning at no time. And the natural sweetness of cantaloupes does not require adding any sugar. You can substitute the orange juice with skim (or 0% fat) milk and you have yourself a milk shake. I thought I toss that in...

I noticed that you did not mention 98 being SE. With that assumption I think you should make sure that you have the proper driver installed. Sometimes your hardware specification may cause the whole system to not to utilize the network card to the fullest.When you said you are going from XP to 98, are you down grading the operating system or are you using XP as the internet gateway?If you setup a gateway network, make sure that your XP and 98 can at least share a file or a folder. You know the drill, the same workgroup name..etc. And give it another try. If both machines are wireless connection, bring your 98 machine to where XP machine is located. And see the signal strength. 48% is low. But you should at least have some kind of connection. The strength that most manufacture recommends is 75% or higher.

This little news is making a headline this morning. When a man was fleeing from his home to get to the shelter during Hurricane Katrina's devastating blow, he passed the red light due to the obvious reason. A police officer pulled this guy over and sighted him with $200 speeding and disobeying traffic light ticket. I ask you America, what was this police officer thinking? The officer told that the driver could be a fleeing criminal.Is this what America is boiled down to? Are we so mindless and lost our own conscious that we completely lost a speck of compassion from our lives? This is the most idiotic human behavior since Starbucks charged $3.00 for a bottle of water for all those fire fighting men during The September 11th. TOS clearly stats that when you use the service of Xisto, which includes the free web hosting service, any adult material is not to be hosted or available with the service. Which means when your site contains any of TOS contrabands, your service will be suspended or even terminated. You are responsible for your hosting--not your forum members. So whatever you say goes. We had, just few days ago, topic title called "Is this site content illegal?" http://forums.xisto.com/topic/26732-is-this-site-content-illegal-complaint-against-Xisto-hosted-site/ where OpaQue discussed about downloading some CokeStudio modifications. And the server administrator sent out an email to OpaQue saying that the issue must be resolved. Posting links to download those modification is not allowed in the forum AND a member's website. So you can see that Xisto's TOS applies for both the forum and your hosting. Bottom line: the server administrators will periodically patrol around Xisto member's website. And if any thing against Xisto's TOS (which is also the TOS for this server) is found, the site is taken down immediately.

They could have been out looking for those looter's relatives!
