Well first of all the commercial was horrible, it looked like crap and I do not understand why they would use something like that in a commercial for burgers. How lovely, I am sure all the children loved it. Second of all it is stupid and not to forget an disrespectful action done by the employees, and as they are employed on McDonalds I am sure it is the company that will have to pay. But who does a photoshoot using a mobile phone? That is silly and just weird. Jail? They should rather have to pay a fine that will sting really hard in their pockets, and if they do anything that is quite illegal once again then they could be jailed. Just my opinion, maybe they will be scared and actually regret their action. But come on, I would not look at this as something that is very horrible at all - so jail should not be necessary. Well I am not used to a government with very harsh convictions.Haha, but this is funny. Again; People who store images on their mobile phone are quite stupid as there could be other friends that would just pick up the phone and look through it... and as said I do not understand why he used his mobile phone for a photoshoot. He must have some hell of a phone.

At my school all the students have their own laptop. It is pretty okay, works just fine. It comes with Windows Vista - we would probably all like something else but it is just for school so what do we care. Our school is not specialising in technology and things like that, other schools in the area have programs like that. (For example Media&Communication - they have some neat stuff.) We do not really learn anything special regarding technology, but we do use it a lot at school. We have presentations where we create short-movies, use PowerPoint, music, websites, online information, flash and we often have tests online. Most of us think it is great that many of our tests are at our laptops, because it is easier to write, we write faster, get more done and recieve a better grade.

When I saw the thread title I thought of the Norwegian word "heisann" that means "hello, hi or hey." Well I do recieve lots of messages on MSN from friends, who most often are actually not even logged on, saying things like: "Blubear u gotta check out this site, they hav got like lots of info bout you. *link goes here*." Haha, the funny things is that many of my friends would never speak or write English to me, and if they would they would not speak it that way. And they are logged off. I remember when a virus spread so quickly on MSN, almost everyone had it. Of course I was not that stupid to click on stupid links from friends who say things they normally would not.I did not understand exactly what heysan.com do, but I doubt it is the same thing?

^ Well yes, if you have ever tried products on your skin that contains some sort of fruitacid you would maybe notice that it can sting like hell for about 5 seconds, and then it calms down. I have not tried the tips in this thread yet but I will! I think it is kind of the same feeling as if you use a tonic with alcohol. In general I would say acids on the skin is not... the best thing you can do, especially not when you use it over a long time. I have dry skin but I use it anyway, haha, I go againts my own tips.

I fear numbers in math class, becides that I do not really think about it a lot. Well maybe I do but it is not like I do it on purpose. I always stop the microwave when it is 5 seconds left, or anything else that contain the number 5. I dislike the 6 - 7 - 8 numbers. I think 8 is an evil number, and I feel sorry for number 9 (do not know why), and as I feel sorry for it I try to be nice to it so I like it. Haha, I am weird yes I know. I do not like number 4 either, and 1 & 2 are kind of hard so I do not know about them. When I used to play handball I was number 12, that kind of sucked. Maybe that is the reason I always missed the penalties and never really managed to do anything at all?

I have struggeled sometimes figuring about where to post HTML, CSS and things like that. It is because I feel they are quite "hidden", so I have probably posted some things in the wrong forum just due to my HATE of not finding the right forum. Despite from this even though there are tons of forums and categories, it is too much. Every single person do not post in every single forum or thread, and beeing me I sometimes wonder where I can say something today. You have been here for such a long time so this is something I would rather see new members beeing mad or annoyed with, but at the same time I understand you as it sometimes can be slightly overwhelming.

Well the weather is not so typical here either. It has started changeing so quickly, it is almost quite sad as I remember for example the winter when I was little - and that was great. Right now I am looking outside my window and there is a 10cm layer of snow, but it has started heating up so the huge threes right below have no snow. It snowed for about a day, and snow the snow is hard and awful. It is not fun snow that you can go outside and play in, or skii at. Argh, it is horrible! Snow here is typical in November, or at least it used to be. The past couple of years we have had rain on Christmas eve, and I doubt it will be any different this year. Our summers are... shorter, colder. In general we have more rain and wind all year long (not good for my hair!) and it is making me annoyed. Wow, another thing I currently dislike. I do not like changes. I wish I was 5 again.

Again I think it is weird. If there are not any buses at all where a person lives, and that person has to go to school the government always makes sure that they can travel to school. Most often they hire a taxi or in some cases a bus if it lives many students there - but most often when it lives several students there the bus company already have a route there. But you know, a different country. I think the age limit is 16 for light-motorcycles, but these are pretty expensive so not many have them. For the heavy-MC I think it is 21 years old. When it is legal in a country it is legal, so if you (the topic starter) is driving legal then I do not really care. Even though I think it is too young to start driving that age, there is no harm of driving at your own property. As for the thing about your dad I believe I said my opinion in a previous post. Good luck with the whole thing, I am sure it will work out just fine. Can not wait until I am old enough and the snow melts so I can take a trip too... maybe to very clever, but yes; legal!

Well RIGHT NOW the biggest thing that annoyes me is that the shoutbox gave up on me. I have way to much things on my mind and none of them are worth creating a new topic for. Secondly I feel like the weekend is almost over as the past weeks we had the day off on friday too, so it is kind of sad... Looking forward to the holiday.

You can not avoid all wrinkels no matter what you do, because it just happens. People turn old and the amount of wrinkles they have are different from person to person. Sometimes it is something you inherit from your parents. In my case: I do not smoke, I do not drink alchohol and the closest thing I come to laughing or smiling is this neat little smiley: " " If there is sun here my eyes hate it so I stay inside, or I put on way to much sun-lotion. I am not even 16 years old so this is not something that I care about for the moment, but I can use it as a reason to get more sleep.

As it is so cold everywhere in this country right now, my lips look like something awful has happened to them. I do not know what but it is awful. This is a good tips, I will try it out and see if it works. But does last? If not maybe you have some other tips against dry lips? It can be so hard to find something that actually works, and when I find something it contains some horrible ingredients that ruin my skin around my mouth. Argh, what a world!I will test it and tell you how it goes.

Honestly I can not believe 14 year olds are allowed to legally drive in some states. It is insane! Here we have to be 18 years old, and we can try to pass for the moped-license when we turn 16. We have to take lots of classes, test and so on. The age group where most accidents happen (here in Norway) is 18 - 25, and I doubt it is any different in the US. People always say that "the age does not matter", but that it is experience. Well at some point everyone who drives had no experience at all, so I doubt that is the main problem. I would rather say that it is the brain. At such a young age a persons brain is not complete "done", or what I should call it. So the brain is not fully developed! If I could decide I would say that you had to be at least 22 years old to drive, but I doubt that would be possible. If I went to the US I would be freaked out that some little kid would hit me with his/hers cars. I think it is really strange, but hey that is just me. I do not really know how I could help you, but the idea regarding a list or a spesific amount of petrol (or what it was) was good enough for me. That way your dad and you will be done with it, and as he only have to help you once he will probably turn less mad...

Paypal.. Safe Or Not? well is it?
Bluebear replied to spawn_syxx9's topic in Websites and Web Designing
You are not the one freaking me out in particular, everyone is haha. I never really keep money in my account - why should I? When i buy something it is drawn from my credit card and the deal is sealed. -
Thanks but an umbrella will not help at all, as the wind rips it apart after 4 minutes. Well I am one of those who start working on my homework too late, or practice for a test 2 hours before midnight. Yup, I am an owl. Well now I should work on some chemistry homework, but what the heck it is saturday and I am going out with my friends. Snow is fun!

Paypal.. Safe Or Not? well is it?
Bluebear replied to spawn_syxx9's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Whenever I have a couple of dollars in my account I spend them strait away. Giftcards on sites where I know I am going to by something anyway is really helpful, so that is what I do. Anyway I wish there were other companies as big as PayPal and that it could be used almost all around the web - but that they actually cared. I have never had any problems but you guys freak me out from time to time due to all your horror stories. -
Paypal.. Safe Or Not? well is it?
Bluebear replied to spawn_syxx9's topic in Websites and Web Designing
A question: I do not have any money in my PayPal account, but yes it is connected to my credit card. If they flagged my account, would they be able to spend my money? Or could I just tell my bank to help me? -
^ I know! I can not go outside either. And for the hairspray/hairnet/hat idea: Hairnets are ugly, I hate hats and I do use a lot of hairspray. It is not just a little breeze, it is a lot of really cold and horrible wind! And the winter has just begun, normally it stays until late February. So this is just the beginning of my living snowstorm. I love snow, I just hate wind and when it is too cold outside.
-
So it is winter. Snow outside. The bus is so cold and in the morning, and I am sitting there for a long time turning me into an icy little girl with ruined hair. Because that is another problem; I do my hair for about 10 minutes every morning, I take a look at my hair in the mirror before I lock the door after me and about sixteen seconds later the wind completely ruins my work. Talking about sixteen, my birthday is coming up. Not only is my mum looking forward to me driving the car around and around here, but on snow. I have driven a car before. We have to be sixteen to just start to pratice our driving, and when we are eighteen we can try to pass for the licence. Fun. People are constantly asking me what I wish for my birthday, and not to forget out christmas. You see the things I want are things found on Ebay and mostly other online store, and most of them are so expensive that it is something I have to buy myself. I bought a camera on Ebay today, and guess what? About 10 minutes later another camera shows up - and it is a lot cheaper than what I payed for mine. Arghh...Then we have school. Math exam is next friday, and I am doing fine. Of course my teacher freakes me out by saying that in the two next years the math will be a lot harder and that many people complain. I have oral Spanish too. Spanish? What? I know, how is that going to turn out! And we do not get any time to prepare either. I am not Spanish, I do not know Spanish, I like Spanish but again I stink in it. I am able to say "I am going to do my homework" as well as some other simple phrases, but that is it. And homework? I return home from a horrible day at school, I sit down in front of the telly to eat my dinner. And pretty much that is where I end up. In front of the telly all night - no homework done. And then there is next year... I can choose between "realfag" (chemistry, biology and lots of stuff) or "Social classes." (I think there is English, geography, social-studies and a court-class.) And what I am going to choose? I am doing just fine in English, but not well enough to choose it! I do no want to have "realfag" as I am praying that I am not picked out to have exams in it. That is my goal, my dream for next year! Fine: Give me English, Norwegian, social-studies or math - but please not chemistry or biology. I beg you. Then there is the last thing, or at least the last thing I can come up with now: I can not see the shoutbox. It is not working. I am so sick of beeing hosted and not having a website! I want my blog, but I do not really know how to create it and stuff. Oh, and my computer do not work. This is my school-computer. Therefore all the spelling mistakes as I have not installed the spelling thing here. Firefox do not work, so I have Chrome. Fun hah? I am tired of this. Argh. I have nothing on this computer. No Photoshop, no music... Adobe has launched a trial of their CS4, but this computer is horrible, so I will not even try it out on this one for sure.

Welcome to the boards humeng99. How are you? Hopefully you are enjoying the forum and following the rules? If you have not read them yet you should take a trip around the forum yourself and/or take a look at this. It is helpful. Please try to avoid one-liners as they are considered as spam. It is not a massive deal but we would appreciate if you kept your number of really short posts low. It would also be great if you came back and told us a little bit more about yourself. Where in China do you live? We have lots of Chinese items in the house, it is kind of funny. I know how to write "I am hungry. One, two, three, five, six, ten" in Cantonese. (I know that is cool. ) Besides from all of this: welcome! Hugs from Bluebear

Introducing Myself - Database Programmer Learning Web Design
Bluebear replied to StefanScottAlexx's topic in Introductions
Welcome StefanScottAlexx. Sorry for the late reply! This happens from time to time, I am not here 24/7. Welcome to the forum anyway. Are you enjoying it? You have 30 posts, and that is quite good. I have not checked them out but if they are all as good as your introduction I am sure they are more than good enough. Maybe you already know that you should try to avoid one-liners just because they are considered as spam. It is okay from time to time, but try not to go crazy. The better posts you have = the more myCENT. You should take a look at this. Hopefully I will see you around. Good luck. -
Welcome WhySoSerious. We are not that serious, but we try to encourage our members to avoid short posts and especially one-liners. We do not appreciate when a member posts tons of one-liners as it do not really contribute and it is considered as spam - but a one-liner ones in a while is okay. Three posts is an okay place to start, though we would all appreciate if you came back and especially wrote something more about yourself. All new members should take a look at this to learn rules and other very useful information. It will help you so I strongly recommend it. Other than this I can only give you a three-days-to-late-welcoming-hug, and wish you good luck. See you around the boards.

Hi and welcome to the forum nullbyte! I am slightly late with my welcome, so I suppose others already have filled you in with the basics. Honestly it is easiest if you read and learn on your own, but this link might help. Try to avoid one-liners and spam, because no one likes spam. But it is okay from time to time - almost everyone has done it! (Me too.) The amount of myCENTS you earn per posts depends on the quality and length of your post and also where you post it. It is a good reason to avoid spam and short posts as you simply will earn less credits. We have lots of forums and I am sure you will fit right in, your 4 posts is a good place to start. Just so you know I am able to say "the girl with the red hair is stupid" in Romanian, so watch out! See you around! Bluebear, Norway.

^ Ooh, I am going to try that too. I am learning Spanish at school and I have improved so much. I have learned it for three years, this is my fourth year. Think like this: I could barely say some sentences in English after I had learned it at school for three years (so I was eight years old), and when I think about it I am on an equal level with my Spanish today as I was with my English back then. Norwegian is my mother tongue. We have to learn two different versions at school (these are only written languages): nynorsk and bokm?l. I am doing well with both, though nynorsk can be a little bit tricky. I am able to speak Swedish and Danish, haha, but everyone here can do that. It is similar to Norwegian - and even though I do not know many of the words, I would be able to fake it. I learn a couple of words here an there, haha. I have many friends with different nacionalities at school so they teach me some German, Cantonese, Tamil, Persian, Romanian... you name it. But it is only up to 10 sentences so I do not speak it at all. I would love to learn Cantonese! Today at school (in English class) I actually learned how to write "I am hungry" and "one, two, three, five, six, ten".

What Will Heaven Be Like? A place for new perspective
Bluebear replied to asdftheking's topic in Health & Fitness
Am I the only one who do not like the thought of "eternity"? Because that is a very long time! I do not know if I believe in heaven, my views about things like this somehow change all the time and most often there are others who are contributing to the change. -
Welcome to Xisto Jeff aka summerjakeq. As others has already filled you in with the basics all I can do is to welcome you to Xisto, and wish you a lovely stay here. Hopefully we will all meet you around the forum. Good luck, and once again welcome! Bluebear, Norway.
