  1. Well, I am not Christian either - but Christmas is like a huge, important and fun tradition so that is the point. Most of us have fun with our family or/and friends, eat good food and receive some pretty gifts. I could not care less about Jesus. (Some said he was actually born in Mars or something?)
  2. Yes, I knew what a "stocking" is - we have the same thing. I was just confused as I did not know "stocken" was the same thing. (Says so in the thread description.) We will ours with sweets, sweets and more sweets.
  3. The first thing you should do is to replace "Welcom" with "Welcome". I hate those tiny little typos, even though I am not very good at it myself. You could easy remove the ".tk" with something else - .com if you can afford to for example buy it here at Trap. Or just have .trap17. Scary name but it is worth a try.Beside that I agree with the previous poster. Find a cleaner, calmer and more professional design with some other colours than the ones you have.
  4. Well then you are really bad at jokes, because I did not get it.
  5. Welcome to our world, Irrepsytomrer. Some are a slightly scared due to the one-liner and no spam thing, but just be careful. You will not be expelled or locked out if you do one, tiny, little mistake. Everyone has probably posted a one-liner from time to time, and it is okay! Just try not to make a habit of it. I do not think it is very important, but it is necessary to keep the quality of this forum a little bit high. I think you have been given the most important information, but just in case: Click here. Good luck and see you around.
  6. Hello linkadrip! Just here to welcome you to Xisto and wish you good luck. Take a look at other repliers posts, I will not repeat the whole thing. No reason for that. You have also already started adapting here at the forum, so all I can do is to wish that you enjoy your stay here. See you around! Bluebear, Norway.
  7. 4 days until Christmas eve, lots of things I should do but I will probably end up sitting on the computer and watching television. Homework in holidays is kind of terrible, but I am counting on that no one else will do them either. The one thing I have to start doing this holiday is to write my English application essay for a school. Would someone here care to fix all my typos when I am done with it? I am also almost starting on my website. The one year that has passed shows how awfully slow I work and also my laziness. But it is all going to be good. If I just start to work on it. This Christmas will be spent with my grandparents, my mom and two of my siblings. We have decorated the Christmas tree (I just watched), but we will not be celebrating at home this year. It is still fun. I will bake my gingerbread house tomorrow - going to name the little jelly people after those here who are being mean to me all the time! You know who I am talking about. Can not wait until Christmas eve. In this country we open the gifts after we have eaten dinner that evening, and the food is sheep. "Salted and dried rib of mutton" to be precise. (Google helped me with that one.) I miss the snow, it is so sad. Everyone else is talking about "the horrible snow" or the "blizzards" that they hate so much - but I would love them. The winter is not what it once used to be. After Christmas, on New Year's eve, we do what some countries do on Halloween. (Most of us do not celebrate Halloween, but unfortunately more and more people are doing it.) We dress up, but not necessarily scary, then we walk from house to house, sings a song and receive sweets. We are more creative than all those who just say "Trick or treat" on Halloween, because we actually sing a song. I just mime.
  8. It is not the quantity of your post that matters, but it is the quality. 10 long, good quality posts would earn more than 10 short one-liners. It is a fair system.
  9. SM: I believe the program is very expensive? I could never ever afford the new version of it... but hey, I have not even got a job and all I do is to go to school so maybe that is the reason.
  10. What is "stocken"? That weird sock?Well the things I wish for are all either so expensive or too specific that I can tell them really. I want lots of new jeans, though I have to buy those myself. I want new shoes and it is easiest if I buy those myself too. Therefore I am hoping for money or gift cards. I have wished for a new mp3. I managed to drop the first one in the river in gym class a year ago, and I think I lost my second one on the bus. I suppose it will turn up the very second I receive a new one. Despite from that I have wished for products from a shop with the wonderful scent of coconut. If I am given another perfume I am going to throw up - people always give that if they have no idea what else to give.Just shooting in that it is a smart thing to check in the different stores just to make sure you are buying the gift as cheap as possible. You can not believe how mad I was when I traveled to town and noticed a big poster with the same gift I had bought for my brother - but about 40$ cheaper. Great. Stupid stores... I hate when that happens.
  11. ^ We have lots of Rubens here. Such a lovely name. If I am not mistaken it is a Hebrew name that means "son" or something like that. (I Googled.) There is over 6000 of me in the US, but over 18 000 in Norway... and we are about 4.7 million people.
  12. Did you use the trial SM? Nice sig, quite dark but I love the frosty and (in my opinion) blueish tones.

    Hi

Hey and welcome to Trap G0pher12! I suppose that you are here for the marvelous hosting, so these are the first things you should do: 1. Sign up with the same email as on Trap here, then take a look at the rules and other very useful information that is found in the helpfile. If you have any questions you should search around and if your question is not answered by doing so, please ask a member, a staff or a mod. In general they are quite kind. Please try to avoid one-liners and make sure to keep your posts high on quality. And avoid spam! Do not worry, just do not post things with no content at all all the time. The better posts you post, the more myCENTs you earn. When you have 100 of those they will turn into 1$ and be transferred to your account on Xisto, where you can use them for hosting, domain and other services. It would be great if you came back and told us a little bit more about yourself, it is always nice when a new member does that. Good luck here and enjoy your stay. Looking forward to seeing you around.
  14. Sorry if this is mentioned previous in this thread, but are we allowed to have affiliates? And if so I am sure there are some special rules for this? I think I remember that links like that are not allowed here at Trap, so how are the rules?
  15. Well I have this problem quite often, not with "Google Map" but with pretty much every other site where I try to gain some kind helpers. When explaining to someone with no knowledge at all it is very important to be very thorough and not leave anything out. Unfortunately that is not how it works on everywhere and some pages are just meant for people with a certain amount of knowledge. It can be annoying, very annoying actually, but the bes thing you can do if so happens is to try to go somewhere else and learn things more thorough and rather come back or double check with the "complicated" site. I should know, being me is not very easy all the time!
  16. ^ Well I do not think we can be 100% sure that this is global warming or just a phase - but I think it is better to be on the safe side and at least try to see if those tiny changes we are trying to do will help. Because if this is not just a phase it will have massive affect on this planet. And you have to agree that the weather has changed in the last couple of years, so it is not something we can just pretend does not exist! The problems are there; some countries are too hot and they do not know what to do and the lack of water is ruining their crops. (Correct word? You know, the food on their farms.) While others are struggling with flooding due to too much water. In my opinion it is better to be on the safe side... it is better to bring too much water to football practice, than to bring too little.
  17. Happy birthday! 23 years old, that sure is a lot! If we think that you will live until you are a 100 years old, you still have 77 years left to live - so do not worry. Have a nice day and hopefully you did/will do something fun as it is your BIRTHDAY!
  18. Well my name used to be very popular, but now it is just an old people name - I see people that have passed away in the newspaper almost every day with the same name as me. I wonder why my parents named me it, it is not very pretty and it sounds like something an 80 year old ant would be named. Sometimes I hate my name, and I will probably be named Bluebear here for ever.
  19. Where do you guys live?! Not even close to being cheap when it costs around 100$ for pizza and delivery! Arrhg, I am so jealous. A pizza in the grocery store cost around 8$, and they actually taste quite good. Chinese food is located even further away, and I am not very fond of it and it would probably cost more than for the pizza so... yes.
  20. Weirdly enough IE is the only browser that works at the school-page after the computer-dude has blocked the internet - but when everything is open all the browsers work... not 100%, but they work. I have downloaded Chrome, Firefox and Opera. Chrome can not download things (I probably have the old version, have not bothered to download the old one...) Firefox is a mess sometimes (I love it at home though) and Opera is... well it has not got it all but it has everything I need and most importantly: It works at my computer. Yey.
  21. I miss the snow... it seems like those places kind of borrowed our snow, and we would like to have it back! I am so tired of just rain or wind - or just completely icy roads and blue sky as right now. When it is winter it should be snow on the ground, white sky and the feeling of winter. The feeling is still there but the snow is missing. How sad. I suppose it is just another thing that shows us the climate changes...I know someone think that winter is December - January - February, but I have always included November too. (Yes, I do know it is December now.) I think next years winter will be shorter, even less snow, it will be warmer, more rain, more wind and less FUN.
  22. Hi leeindia, welcome to Trap 11 days ago, sorry for the late reply. But it is better than nothing, right? Just wishing that you will enjoy your stay for a long time, and just keep up the posting! Try to make it spam free, please. (You can use the shoutbox for that. ) Bluebear
  23. Hey Nebari, welcome to Xisto! It would be so nice if you returned and wrote a little bit more about yourself - it is always nice when a member says something more than just "hello I am glad to be here thx". No force, just saying. Also please make sure to check out the help topic, and remember to sign up here using the same email as on Trap - that is if you are looking for hosting. (Most people are.) Despite from all this I wish you a spamming-free-stay here at Trap, please try to avoid one-liners (they are considered as spam...) and enjoy your time! The better posts you write = the more myCENTS. Good luck! Greetings from Norway.
  24. Well first of all the main reason someone eat something is because it taste good - unless they can not afford anything else. Second of all we never order pizza or Chinese food, it would cost over a 100$ for the food and the delivery. I will rather buy some frozen pizza or prepare Chinese food myself, it is a lot cheaper.
  25. Well you know I do not live in the US either, but we have had about the American election in English class at school. It was in every newspaper, on the news, at school, everywhere! I turned pretty tired of the whole thing at last, but the fact is that the election was not something that was "just for the US", but something the whole world cares about. It can have a huge influence on us too - it probably will. I am as old as you little miss Mermaid - and just so you know I would probably not care very much if we did not have to learn about it at school. The teachers somehow managed to braid it into every single class at school, so I am glad it is over... I had to write a freaking article about it on my mock exam, so I do know about it. Everyone does. Not just in the US...
