^ Nah, you should love Swedish classes. I was hoping you or anyone else would learn it properly so maybe, just maybe, you or someone else would understand some of my Norwegian. I think I forgot to mention that we do bring our own food, mostly just disgusting bread. In elementary school we were not allowed to go the the store and buy food, we had no cafeteria and we hated it. It has been some big discussion here due to that we want to have warm food at school - some students do not eat at all because the food they bring along taste horrible. I would be one of them if I had the ability to go all day without food. What a shame.

No, it is not a school project. I doubt a translator would work, I have tried something similar before, and the translated text looked horrible. It was so grammatically incorrect that... well, it was bad. I do not know if the link you provided includes Nynorsk. There are two versions of Norwegian; Nynorsk and Bokm?l. I suppose it has Bokm?l, most people write Bokm?l so that is not weird at all. I know that it would be a lot of mess if I created one Wordpress for each of the four - but when you have a multilingual website it will probably be messy anyway.

I have created four subdomains. Four different languages or versions of a language. So there will be one blog for each language. The problem is that I am wondering if I should install one wordpress on each subdomain - so each language will have its own, or if I should just have one and post from there. (I am not used to Wordpress so I do not know if that is possible at all. It did work to have one when I used CuteNews.) I am not sure how much space that would take, I have one Wordpress installed now and it says that no more than 1% of my allowed space is being used. 9.18% of 1000MB. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I am still open for more suggestions... after writing this topic I have opened to actually paying something something for creating the website/template/design. I am so tired of trying to do it on my own. It never seems to work out when I try to create something. Instead of creating a new topic; does anybody know about different websites where I can request a design? Not from a professional company. I knew about one, but I forgot what it was named... I know that there are many sites out there were people can sell their designs/templates to others, or people can request them.

I have had READY [300.00] (<-- random number) for many days now. For some reason they are not transferred! I had the same problems as you, Echo, for some time - but it changed. Now they are just not even transferred.

^ If we could see ads that would annoy me (and probably others too) very much. I like forums when they are pretty ads free. In my mind lots of ads = "This forum just want to earn money and could not care about anything else." Call me weird, but I am not very fond of ads.

While we are talking about privacy, Facebook as well as other similar websites should have a function so that the user could remove pictures of themselves. I have lots of friends who are suddenly tagged in photos from parties (when they should have been elsewhere...), and other very unflattering images they absolutely hate. I think it is an atrocious thing, and that it violates a persons privacy! When someone do not want pictures of themselves to be published online, then they should have an option to remove them. If you send Facebook an email regarding this, they will answer something like "We will not remove images due to that they are slighly unflattering. If they do not go against our rules and policy, they will remain.""Everyone" is on Facebook. If I do not log on I will not know whos birthday it is, upcoming (boring) events or be able to see some pictures from some awesome trip. If you want to create something new it should be new, there should be nothing exactly like that on the market. People will not probably change unless the social network they are using turns terrible or something like that - I know I would not. Facebook (and such) is not a threat to our community... Me and my friends never have time to meet up and have fun, but we are able to talk and see what everyone is up to.

Well when you start and which classes you have depends on your age and what you chose. From 1st - 4th grade we went to school from 09:00 to 14:30, and we had every wednesday (+weekends) off. Then the complicated things start... the times were the same but we had some wednesdays with school and some without. In 6th and 7th grade we had the same times, but all week with school. (Not weekends.)From 8th-10th grade we all have to go to a new school, with new teachers - as those schools are separated. 08:30 to 14:00. We do not change classrooms besides the times we have Spanish, French, German or whatever. Then there is the even more complicated things. Now we have to choose. Some choose Mechanics, Singin/Acting/Drama, Media&Communication and many more... one of them is kind of just an extension of the past three years - where you have pretty much the same classes (at least the first year...) but it is a lot harder. More work and homework. What you choose decides if you are allowed to study on an university later... this is very complicated to explain. The schools are often divided; one school could teach Mechanics and Health, while another one would have Singing/Acting/Drama and Media&Communication. The schools are also very different - though it is free. The books are free, we all have a laoptop - but we have to pay a small fee. It is okay, hard work but that is how it is supposed to be... The hours are different. When schools starts and ends is different from week to week, day to day.I am in my 11th school year right now, and honestly I do not know too much about the years that will come - so I will not even try to tell you all about that.

You can take a trip to the doctor and ask for some pills. It does not really matter how bad your skin is, they probably have something that suits you. Another quick tips I have is zinc pills or cream - especially if yo are struggling with red skin.And please, give your skin some peace and quite. Let it rest. Lots of air could help, and if you want to give it a try you could always try to change your diet. Everyone have different reasons why they are having problems with their skin, so finding out what your problem is would be a clever thing to do.If you have gentle or/and dry skin you should definitely not try different types of for example fruit acids, or any acids at all. I am no expert but these are all my tips and opinions.

^ Well I am learning Spanish, I have been learning it for 4 years now. I find that many English words are similar to Spanish ones, but the reason why we do not quite have the same effect there would be that our Spanish is pretty poor and we do not command it properly. At least I do not... and that Spanish does not surrounds us in our everyday life in the same way English does. I do not think you really know what you are talking about. English do have an effect on Norwegian more than any other language. English is the language that surrounds us wherever we go - and it is used to communicate with others around the world that do not have the same mother tongue. Maybe you would understand this if you were Norwegian, or even perhaps Swedish or Danish (I think they have a similar effect) and you would see the English language's major effect! More and more English words are being included in our everyday speech. Words such as "date" and "dot" are two examples. We do write English so much that we are turning more and more used to the English way of writing that sometimes it mixes with our Norwegian. Sure, it would probably would have an effect if Spanish, French or some other language was the language that surrounds us - but it is not. It is English.

Actually it does. You have no idea how much English surrounds us every single day. In English splitting of words is actually more common than it is in Norwegian. In Norwegian there are so many words that are supposed to be written in ONE word, instead of two. Our teacher says this herself, there has been lots of newspaper complaining about it and so on. Many of us have better grades in English than we have in Nynorsk! (=one of the two versions of Norwegian.) We already know Norwegian, and when we learn English it is definitely changing the way we write our mother tongue. It is not English that is being changed due to that, but it is our Norwegian that is being changed due to that we are learning English. Hard to understand, but true. My grandmother do not have this problem because she did barely even learn English. My mom do not have this problem either, but my dad does - because he is actually quite fluent in English. Hard to imagine, hah? But true. "lol" is a word that is used a lot by some annoying little chat people... among other words of English orgin.

Well things like this are also very annoying for someone like me who sometimes are struggling actually understand what everyone is trying to express when they write in "codes", shorten words and other crappy things. As long as they do not write like this: i LaIkE 2 WrITe lAiKE TiS iT'S SOoOOO hAWt" - then I am pretty much okay with it. Because that is what I consider true chat language... also some very annoying words such as "lol" and so on. The English language is bastardizing the Norwegian language too! It is the reason why so many persons, are having problems with... well, they are splitting up words, adding words and integrating words that should not be too hard to write! Instead of writing "sykepleier" some would write "syke pleier." (=nurse) Aha, how terrible.

I just noticed Kontera through something new Xisto has started with - anyone that think it would work? I am not quite sure of how it works actually, but maybe someone here knows. If so it would be another option.

^ Yes, it is Jim Carey. I have seen it, thought it was kind of silly to be honest. If I had superpowers for a day, week, month, year or something like that I would fly. Or I wish I had the ability to breath under water. If there were someone out there with superpowers I would be scared. People with amazing powers would probably end up using their powers in a bad way - just my opinion. Can not really remember a lot from this movie as it is quite old now.Silly, slightly funny and a little bit weird. Allows you to think a little bit about issues such as "What if there is someone in the world like this today." I kind of hope not... unless their powers are used in a good way. God sure has a lot of work to do.

As I pretty much always do I stopped even thinking about the idea of coding my little webbie on my own - as it turned out terrible. So once again I am looking for a free template. The problem is that I just want to find a neat, clean and just nice template and then change the header, other images and perhaps the some colours. I am not sure regarding all the copyright issues, I do not mind placing their name at the bottom at my page, but honestly I do not know if I am even allowed to alter the template in such a way?Someone please explain this mess for me... and you are welcome to throw in a couple of links to some good free (or kind of free) templates.

My USB stick contains my whole life. At least my life the previous year, all the work I have done at school, grades, papers and lots of not so useful stuff - such as a game that has become very popular in our classroom. It is not very big, my dad gave it to me... I have two backups of my work; one on an external disk drive (?), one on this computer and another one at my school laptop. That makes it three backups I suppose. It is very useful. It is stuck on my key chain all the time - so when I forget my keys I also forget my beloved USB stick.

Margarine is bad. Sure, we use it - but the best one will always be the 100% real butter. It tastes lovely. For what I have heard it is healthier, but I am not sure? I do no really care too much about if it is healthy or not. Butter tastes better, but it is more expensive (at least here) so maybe that is the reason we use more margarine... my mom baked Christmas cookies and cakes this year, but she used 100% butter. I can assure you that it tasted a lot better than last year when she used margarine.

If there were more girls on this forum there would be even more topics. Heck, we would take over this forum and create lots of new categories and even more topics regarding these little things that does not really matter. That is my dream. For those of you that are able to post and reply in every single topic - then yes, maybe there is too many. I am not very good at these technology-things - so mostly I am stuck running between a couple of categories and topics. It is okay, I quite like it that way.
