I've checked out the site, but if you had a (positive) experience using the service, could you enlighten the rest of us? Seems like yet another internet scam to me.

Cms Sistems do anyone knows which is the best
shigajet replied to tagu's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I think it all comes down to how much time and creativity you want to put into a website - as well as the purpose in making your website. Many company websites I've seen usually is based on a CMS system...that's why a lot of them look similar to one another. Personal sites, on the other hand, can allow you to try your coding skills and tweak whatever is need to make the website attractive. -
Are Mobile Phones Dangerous? to the users health...
shigajet replied to googlue's topic in Mobile Phones
In my case, I usually use my mobile phone to send e-mail. Sometimes I use it to make a phone call but those occasions are few and far between. So...it hasn't been harmful to me....and of course I don't use the mobile phone and drive at the same time. -

Don't Put Off Till Tomorrow What You Can Do Today What do you think?
shigajet replied to Sevesz's topic in General Discussion
It's very common advice, no matter how you phrase it. (No time like the present, etc.). I really think it takes a balance. If you encounter a problem or something you have to do, it's better if you take care of it now, rather than put it off until later. I feel the problem will only grow as time passes, so it's better to do the the things you have to do now,and you can relax when you've tackled the problem. Overall, I beleive if you can maintain a balance and recognize what tasks are improtant than others yet blow off some steam every now and then (live life to the fullest), then you'll have an enjoyable life. -

My First Sig. the first one i made =D
shigajet replied to pn4yy_bebe's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Looks pretty good. I like how everything blends in and how the different images and text fade into each other. Nice effort! -
Although it's true that not everyone like anime and manga. That's okay - they're entitled to their opinion and I respect that. I quite like the unique style of anime myself, as well as the story. The best example, in opinion, are the movies made by Studio Ghibli - in particular, the ones created by Hayao Miyazaki....great stuff! I'd reccomend it to anyone who's new to anime.

You Should Download Google Earth google earth is a program
shigajet replied to student7's topic in The Internet
I tried it a while ago. Trust me, it really does blow you away. Even some of the things the free version has was just mind-boggling. The only downside is that does require a lot of memory..so on a new computer it works just fine. -

The Worst Thing On The Internet?
shigajet replied to thebluekirby's topic in Websites and Web Designing
For me, it's gotta be pop-up ads and/or sites that produce multiple (as in 3-5 ads per page) pop-up ads, adware/spyware, sites with too many animated gifs and javascript features. -
That's amazing! When I first saw the topic title, I thought it might've come from a firm in Japan. I knew that they recently made a thin-screen TV where you could actually see two programs at the same time - depending on which side of the TV you are watching from.Anyway, it's really neat to see things gradually getting more and more compact.

I'm currently living in an earthquake-prone country, and although we've had the odd (light) tremor every now and then, there are always predicitons as to when the next major earthquake will strike. In 2004, it was Niigata, a prefecture northeast of Tokyo, that got hit hard ...and the aftershocks just made it worse.Upon hearing of the earthquake in Pakistan and the hurricane that hit New Orleans, I was shocked to see such disasters claim so many lives. So I certainly hope for the best and that the areas will be able to recover.

I used to have an old Palm Vx, but I ended up not using it much. Besides, I think I'd rather get a simple planning book than a PDA...I'm imagining a scene where if I lose a ($500) PDA, it'd be a tough pill to swallow. Of course, it would just as devastating to lose a planning book, but I can always replace it easily.

Although the new video-enabled iPod looks like it will be a hit, I can't really see myself watching videos on it for an extended period of time, whether it be on a plane or at home. I'll stick with watching movies, videos, etc. on the PC. I currently have the iPod shuffle, and it's pretty much all I need....although I could be suaded to "upgrade" to the nano.

I'd probably go for the Lexus - it looks really slick and sporty, but that's just me. I think it all comes down to which car you feel most comfortable driving in - and looks good, to boot.

I agree that Limewire is one of the few reliable options left for downloading music. If you want to buy a song for 99 cents, that's alright as well, and you'll probably keep the record companies satisfied.

Paint Shop Pro is pretty good. There's a trial version, after which you can purchase it after a certain time period (30 days, I believe). Still, it has the functions you would need without paying the hefty price tag for Photoshop.

I actually have two FTP programs: FileZilla and FTP Commander - both are free, except the latter is very user-friendly for the beginner. Once you get the basics down on how to use it, then go for FileZilla.I use FileZilla most of the time, but I sometimes use FTP Commander...that's why I keep both.
