  1. I sent you a message... I may be interested.
  2. Whoops! Sorry, I can't believe I forgot the link . It's http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ You'll see what ideas I have on the site . There are only three so far, but they're pretty dang good ones... and they mostly work for adults as well.
  3. I signed up as your referral. Not sure if I'm going to use it much, but I thought I might as well try it ;P.
  4. Hey guys... I've been around for a while now, and thought I should tell you about the relatively new blog I have. It's called Teen Money Canada, and as the name implies, it is intended to help (primarily Canadian) teenagers earn money while going through school. If you guys could provide some constructive criticism of both the layout and the writing, I'd appreciate it. Thanks,Dave.
  5. Well, I was a loyal fan of the original Starcraft (and Brood War), but I've really slowed down on gaming. I think this one may be worth a try, though, and it might be good enough to get me addicted again ;P.
  6. Well, my current MP3 Player went through the wash a couple days ago, so I think I'm going to give this thing a try. It's only $139 in Canada at Best Buy, and it has plenty of features (and enough space for me). I'm currently debating on whether to get a Zune or this iPod. They both have different appealing features (the Zune has the wifi, and the iPod has the 'genius' feature, and the easy shuffle.) Anyone know what I should do? The Zune is $10 cheaper, but if one of them is much better than the other then 10 dollars doesn't matter to me.
  7. Well, I'm not a mac person. I've only had one in my entire 'computer life'. Also, I just bought a laptop four months ago, so I'm not looking for a new one.Although the new macbook certainly good (much better than the old models), I find it odd that it is roughly $1000 more expensive than my $550 laptop, yet nearly all of my specs are BETTER than the mac's.ACER Aspire 7720-6208Intel core 2 Duo Processor T5450 (1.66 GHz, 667MHz FSB, 2 MBL2 cache).Up t 358 Mobile Intel Graphic Media accelerator X31003GB RAM17" Screen.Built in Webcam and Microphone (Crystal Eye)320 GB Harddrive.I'm no computer expert (frankly I know nothing about them) but I'm wondering why I would pay more for something that isn't that much - if at all, better.
  8. I've never bought an iPod in my life - I've stuck with various brands of mp3s. However, this iPod seems quite a bit different from the rest, and I think I'm willing to give it a try. I'm going to take a look at them and try one out if I can. If any has any negative feedback, I'd really appreciate it if you could post it here/message me with it. Thanks .
  9. I'm obviously a bit late in writing this, but I thought I'd post it anyways. Unless you've been under a rock for the past two years, you have certainly heard of Youtube, and likely watched a fair amount of videos on it. Personally, I have it set as my homepage, and use it dozens of times a day. I spend about a quarter of my viewing time logged in, and I still have about 400 video views. The quality of the videos is typically quite low, but it is all that can be expected for a site that offers free hosting. It can also be attributed to the lower quality of cameras that many people use to record (cell phones, etc.). There is a vast selection of content on the site, ranging from comedies, to music videos, to political debates. I use it for listening to music quite a bit, as I teach guitar part time and it really helps me out. Overall, if you, for whatever reason, have yet to 'check out' Youtube, I suggest you do it immediately. There are millions of videos just waiting to be watched ;P.
  10. First of all, I'd like to say that I didn't walk out of the film wanting Stark's suit, or his life. Just his cars . I saw the movie twice, once in a regular theater and once at a drive in, and both times it was excellent. The acting was quite good, and I really enjoyed the storyline. The effects, and the 'gadgets' in general were absolutely awesome, although the thing I wished I could have most in the movie were Tony Stark's cars . I liked this movie much more than any other 'superhero movie', especially any or all of the Spiderman movies. I did write a big review about Batman, so I guess I would consider these two as tied. I'm DEFINITELY planning on buying it when it comes on DVD, and I'm looking forward to a sequel .
  11. *MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS:*I saw the movie last night, and was very impressed with it. First of all, Heath Ledger was absolutely AMAZING as the Joker - he's exactly how the character should have been played (in my opinion). Christian Bale was pretty good as Batman, and he pretty much covered the role. The rest of the cast were alright overall, none of them exceptionally good or bad, although Aaron Eckhart did a good job. The plot was better than any other batman so far, although it jumped around quite a bit, and it was a little too unrealistic. Now for a little 'character analysis':Christian Bale - Batman/Bruce Wayne: Did quite a good job, although the deep, husky voice was a bit much for me at times. Especially when he used it with people who know his true identity: i.e. Lucius Fox, or Alfred. I liked how Batman was portrayed overall, and some of the 'gadgets' were really neat . I hope they use him again.Heath Ledger - Joker: Like I said before, Heath Ledger, or "The Joker" was absolutely AMAZING. He wasn't 'too crazy', as in maniacally laughing every few seconds, but he still had that air of 'insane' around him. I have seen just about every batman movie/cartoon ever made, and this was by FAR the best ever Joker. The only thing was he was a little too intricate, or smart, if you will, for my taste. It's a shame he is 'unable' to be the Joker in the next film (if they need him). Heath Ledger had been one of my favourite actors for a long time, and I was truly saddened to hear of his death. All in all, the Joker was the only truly terrifying character in the film. When he stuck the razors in peoples mouths, that were some of the most intense scenes I've ever seen. It was also interesting listening to his various stories of how he got his scars. Aaron Eckhart - Harvey Dent/Two face: Was a very convincing character. I really believed his anguish when Rachel died, as well as his Two Face personality, and his murderous attitude. As Harvey Dent he was a very 'funny' and capable character. I enjoyed his performance.Michael Caine - Alfred: Alfred was not quite how I expected him to be slimmer, and perhaps with a mustache and some sort of accent. His acting wasn't quite what I wanted either, but it worked. Overall he was alright, and I wouldn't mind if they used him again.Maggie Gyllenhaal - Rachel Dawes: Didn't really meet my expectations. She was alright throughout the movie, and I was impressed near the end (for her). When she was talking to Dent on the phone it was pretty darn convincing. If she hadn't died, I would liked her back.*SPOILERS END*If you're looking for an action movie, this should keep you going for a while . I just saw it last night and I'm already willing to go see it again, and it seems like lots of the people in the theater were as well - it was a full house, and even though there were two other rooms playing at the same time, and the film has already been out for two weeks, so I think at least SOME of the people had seen it before. Even if you're not into action movies, it's a great film that I highly recommend. It's a bit dark, so I don't recommend it for children under 13. My rating for the film is 4/5.
  12. Thanks... I'm going on vacation for a week, so I'll try it when I get back.

  15. Getpaidto seems to be just like all the other survey for cash sites. I tried out Cashcrate, Getpaidto, and also Cashlagoon, and almost all of them seemed to be scams. I completed the surveys, but wasn't credited with any points whatsoever. Seems like a scam to me o.o
