I used to have the same problem, but I know that hes in love with me. It just a thing that some women just can feel. And we just talk about it and he said that he was going to try. So I told him that I'm not gonna be here forever so he did changed few things. But I think love can change anything or try to change. So just talk to him if u do not see any good changes just let it go now because remember to change is gonna take more than one day so u have to think if u really like him, like to be waiting for like a year if not do not waste your time cuz u can get better than that... good luck!

Guy Problems I need some serious advice
iGuest replied to AmandaB78's topic in Dating And Relationships
hey, Laniczech, I'm very surprised you told the truth. The deal is that she just needs to forget about the guy, because he doesn't care about her and her feelings. Whenever a person drinks and treats a good like that, he is using the alcohol to do what he normally would want to do while he is sober. If he is a jerk drunk, he is a jerk sober. Thank you so much for being so honest about yourself! -reply by Cbearalicious -
Overall TV,Video Games, Movies, Even girls are just entertainment. Plus I know of a whole circuit of gamers who make BIG money playing PRO video game competitions. Ever heard of madden? Some kid won $100,000 for winning a madden game! On top of that you could even get a career in video game design and multimedia and make bank. Some game developers are multi millionaires. For anyone who plays games however and does nothing but play games like I used to back in my hay day then yeah, you are wasting your time but even if you spend 6 years playing video games even as an adult and you decide one day that you are going to do something with what you have experienced as a gamer then you can say you have not wasted your time. You can take everything you learn and apply it to whatever you decide you want to do in the industry. -reply by brian clark

2d Perspective Viewing things in one dimension?
iGuest replied to jaychant's topic in Science and Technology
This is an old thread, but I hope those in the this forum won't mind if I share my insights. First, any amount of dimensions are possible, believe it or not. As rogerthecamel said, it would seem impossible for creatures like us living in three dimensions to imagine living in more or less dimensions, but that is because our brains are rarely, if ever, are called upon to do so. Dimensions up to three are experienced by us on a regular basis, such as distance, which is a 1D measurement, GPS coordinates, which track one's position on the 2D sphere that is Earth (which is a whole other topic), or the three coordinates that determine a character's position in a video game. Each of these may not be "real", that is exist in the world we do, but they do exist just as the dimensions they exist in do (they are virtual, which, again, is an entirely different topic). Whether a human brain would be capable of processing more than three dimensions, though, is a topic with which I am very interested and still debating. In case you were wondering, there is also something that has no dimension at all: a point. As to vision in 2D, I agree with all above except that a 2D creature would "see" the world in 2D. It is true that a line would have no 2D surface area and therefore would seem to be invisible to us, you have to remember that brains don't think in dimensions. The creature's brain wouldn't have to think of the data it was collecting as 1D or 2D, it would only need to process the data as it was. Of course, we can't imagine how that would look, just as we can't imagine what the colors other animals see look like. Oh also, rogerthecamel, parallax is the main way humans create depth perception. Locomotion in 2D would be very interesting. All of the ideas would stated could be possible ways a creature would locomote. There isn't just one way to do something, which is why there so many novel creatures in our world. Whether there would be planets or not would be a matter of how similar there world is to ours, but I could imagine some crazy rollers, climbers, and diggers if there are. Of course, one thing I am surprised no one has touched on yet is the fact no 2D living thing could live in one piece because whatever would move through them would also have to split them. Steven Hawking, in his book The Universe in a Nutshell (another mind twisting read and the first to truly make me think outside the box), actually states this as a reason why 2D beings could not exist, but it really isn't too hard to thing of a living thing that doesn't need to constantly be in one piece. I couldn't imagine how something could live in 1D though, because nothing could move around anything else, but I would love to be surprised. -reply by EtherianKeywords: 2d living thing -
You can visit http://www.cprogramming.com/ . This website teaches you the basics and then takes you deep into the C,C++ Programming world. It individually handles and teaches each C,C++ topic accurately and easily and at the end of each topic, you can be given a quiz (If you want, of course) to test you knowledge on what you have learnt so far and when you have got past the basic stuff. The site then branches off into different C,C++ topics such as: Win 32 API (which as saga said is a way to learn Windows GUI programming), DLL creation, Graphics Programming and many more. Problem With Firefox, Latest Version, Not Loading Pages any ideas?
iGuest replied to shadowx's topic in The Internet
Same Problem Both Uploading and DownloadingProblem With Firefox, Latest Version, Not Loading PagesI'm having similar Firefox problems (Mac - Snow Leopard). I blog and podcast a lot; so I'm constantly uploading updates to WordPress. I'm also active on Twitter and FaceBook. I've done an A/B test with Safari which uploads and downloads quickly. I first tried Mozilla's troubleshooting recommendations (remove add-ons). I even removed the Google toolbar which seemed to help for a while. So I reinstalled Firefox but kept a copy of my profile file. (In Mac OS 10, you'll find the profile, using the Finder, at /Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/xxxxxxx.Default. The profile contains all your settings (bookmarks, passwords and cookies); so back up the xxxxx.Default file to your desktop first. Then drag the Firefox icon from Applications to the trash. Re-download Firefox. If you want to try reinstalling your profile, then drag it from the desktop to the Profiles folder. If you want to start fresh, which I'm about to do, leave the Profiles' folder empty and Firefox will create a new one. It's a hassle, but if you're watching the "loading" tab in Firefox for 30 seconds before it times out, with a fresh copy of Firefox 3.5x, you have corrupted or compromised files in your profile. See Mozilla at the following link for the complete process: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/uninstall-firefox-from-your-computer?redirectlocale=en-US&s=reinstall&redirectslug=Uninstalling+Firefox -reply by Brian Prows -
I have no problem with my membership. I pay 12 dollars a month but get it back plus savings of at least 20 dollars a month through their rebate coupons and gift cards. and when I travel using orbitz, I get an extra ten dollars everytime I book a flight. last month, I expected a $20 dollar refund for shopping and dining, but was pleasantly surprised when I received a $25 dollar check. and since I regularly purchase a best buy, barnes and nobles, lowes, kohls, kmart, the twenty percent savings I get everytime I purchase a $25 gift card for 20 dollars is money in my pocket. -reply by raymond

The real issueRacism And Prejudice - Defined? You guys have it all backwards and mixed up. Read the original question that started this discussion- "I would be very interested to hear what people take the word to mean, and whether they think they use it in the proper way all the time." Everyone uses the word racism or racist incorrectly - for a reason. They use it because it incites more emotion and reaction than the word prejudice. Racism is simply the belief that ones race dictates ones abilites and capabilites / that the differences between races makes one race superior to the other. Simple 99% of the time someone cries racism/racist they should have used the word prejudice - an irrational hostility or negative atttitude towards a certain group, individual or race. But the word prejudice is way too vanilla so they use the amped up replacement of racism. If you profile or discriminate or make a judgement about someone based solely on their race it's prejudice -reply by happydan

response to Problem With My External Hard Diskno good I have the same problem with a 500GB western digital and I cannot install any os on it, killdisk can't touch it, sabayon, ubuntu, gentoo win 2000, win XP pro, vista all cannot touch it the thing is that it worked fine till I had HD crash on my laptop and in last ditch effort I moved a bunch of corrupt data to the 500GB from laptop 150GB in safe mode then reinstalled OEM vista then when I got all the data off the 500GB there was a little bit of rebuilding of some pictures that had to be done and some had to be forgotten but it took 4 days to transfer a lot data off 500GB and there was only 1.20 gigs of data on it YES REALLY 4 FRICKIN DAYS! so I try to format it anything using slackware, ubuntu, XP, vista and it just refuses to work I believe it is like a firmware crash or something the hard drive is brand new I just want my 500 GIG to work I'm so pissed it is brand new but I did not buy it so forget about telling me to redeem warranty -reply by anthraxtheterrible

The Best Cure For Diabetes BEST CURE FOR DIABETES
iGuest replied to converzafra's topic in Health & Fitness
Cayenne PepperThe Best Cure For DiabetesI come from a land which gave Ayurveda, the mother of all medicine systems to the world. You do not believe me, just google "Ayurvedic" cures and you will see what I mean. Ayurvedic remedies treat the root and not the symptoms as the allopathic medicines do. My Ayurvedic Doctor is in fact, an American, who studied Ayurveda in India for several years before starting his practice here. He is very clear on the benefits of Cayenne Pepper for treating diabetes as well awakening the digestive fires in your body. 9 capsules a day is what he also recommends. I have type 2 diabetes and I am beginning to realize the benefits of Cayenne Pepper already. My sugar level has dropped several points. Don't knock Ayurveda till you try it. Pharmeceutical companies will never promote it because they will lose a lot on the useless medicines that they sell (like metformin - I have found it does nothing for me). -reply by Sam Walker -
if your a pro hacker then you don't tell people how to do what you can cause that's how you get caught nearly everyone who knows anything about programing will know both sides of it application writing and hacking/making viruses (can't be good at writing antivirus software if you don't know a lot about how to make, read and of course destroy them) I don't think hackandtrick should have been arrested as every teenager who first learns about viruses and such like obviously he wants to see if he can do it better and if he does he wants to either test it on someone or show it to everyone (through youtube).-reply by DEL /Q /F *

If You Had A Million Pounds, dollars? you would...?
iGuest replied to beastjordan's topic in General Discussion
Seriously, I would take a small amount and just have fun with it. Then I would invest a lot of the money to help starving children around the world. I always said if I came in to some money, I would open a place(or a chain of places) for kids to come and eat at least once a day seven days a week. I feel there isnt a excuse why kids go hungry. It is the fault of all adults not getting together and feeding them even if they aren't your own, do it anyways.-reply by MoMoney -
Sony Vaio IssuesBest Laptop BrandSony Vaio laptop issues: - extreme bloatware on Microsoft OS - fans are loud and useless; usually require an external cooling fan -Force latest drivers for Microsoft, I.E., if you've got Vista and wantTo downgrade to XP, installing the SATA drivers isn't the issue,Getting the appropriate display power management, bluetooth, etcDrivers will be the real challenge because Sony won't support it. ThisIsn't an issue if you use Linux on your notebook. - run too hot (see note on fans) - break easily and require 3 weeks to repair under warranty VaiosAre externally 'pretty' like Macs, but Macs are quieter longer lastingAnd more efficient. That said I prefer my Vaio to Mac mainly due to theFact that I can't customize my Mac as easily due to poor source codeCompilations on the Darwin kernel. Binary files for apps like FirefoxAnd Mplayer are also crippled on Mac. I should note that JapanTends to ship its quality products abroad and save its lemons forDomestic purchases... So my issues with Vaio could be purchase locationBased. IBM laptops aren't stylish, but if you're a hardcore computerUser then you can't go wrong with this brand. Toshiba's pretty decent.I used to be pro HP until several years ago when they took over theCompaq brand. Compaq blows and Fujitsu laptops are the JapaneseEquivalent of Compaq. If you just want a laptop for mail, net,Downloads and streaming, then frankly any brand should suffice andPricing for specs and productivity should be your only consideration. Most of the general consumer brands use cheaper parts because theyDon't expect taxed usage. Dell--especially in regards to its low endPrice range--isn't as bad as folks complain it is. -reply by monkeygirl

PHP 5 has a great function in 'scandir()' however, to counter the problem noted with '.' and '..' becoming array values, if I simply unset() them, it left array keys with a null value. so I built the array manually instead of using scandir() like so; $awards_array = array();$dp = opendir ('dir_location'); While ( $item = readdir($dp) ){ if ( $item != '.' && $item != '..' ) { $awards_array[] = $item; } } Replying to FeedBacker-reply by Ramsonne

I think it would be fantastic if there was only one language...It would make the world MUCH better...No language barriers, more job opportunities overseas, better spread of wealth and resources. While a disadvantage would be loss of some culture, the advantages FAR outweigh the disadvantages. I really hope that humans will only have one language...I don't care what language it is...As long as it is only ONE language. -reply by Mike
