Vista Desktop Black screen no cursorDesktop Doesn't LoadP>1 year old HP system with Vista home premium pre loaded (no disk). Been working fine -well..For Vista). Just updated to SP2 2 days ago. Went ayay for 2 days. When I got back had total black screen. Tried to restart multiple times. Hear startup beep, HP logo screen flashes once, then sometimes see boot menu flash, then screen goes blank. Cant see cursor or any menu or desktop items. At night, with a flashlight, can see faint images in the display but no mouse. Was able to get to safe mode once but still black screen so still fumbling in the blind. Tried booting from ISO image but no joy ( believe HDD is ahead of CD/DVD in boot sequence). No joy with F8 or Ctl/Alt/Del.I'm at a loss as to how to regain control of system - assuming I ever had it ! Please help Len

I had the same problem as well..Changing the port to 587 worked for me. Not sure why port 25 is no longer working but so be it.

Well, I've used Corel for years now, but I really must say that Adobe is the better option. If you could get one of them for free you should take Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. As all of you already said, Adobe is expensive, but it's worth the money. The only bad thing about buying it is that they come with newer programs and updates all the time, so if you are gonna buy Adobe you should wait for the CS4 version. I promise you, it will be worth the waiting. You've also said that if you want to go professional, you don't have to choose the one most used by the pro's. If you have 9 years of experience that program might as well be the best one for you. I have much more experience in Corel than Adobe Photoshop, but since we use Adobe Photoshop at school, I just have to adjust and try to be as good with Adobe as I am with Corel. One last game, One last pokedexPokemon Heart Gold And Soul Silver (remakes) Confirmed!Ever since I played my first pokemon game (Silver) I've been hooked. I have played everygame now and I will always be a pokemon game fan however, their are too many pokemon now. 500+ is alot to keep up with. I love pokemon and as much as it pains me to say I believe they should end the series. Most of the games are great but it can't last forever. They're racking their brains trying to think of new pokemon and they just aren't as fun or creative as the originals. What started as a phenomenal game has just turned into a way for them to pinch every bit of cash out of it they can. I think its time to end it, and they should end it with one last game. A game where you can start in Kanto and work your way through the series all the way to Sinnoh, and be able to catch and evolve every pokemon and legendary pokemon without having to trade with other gba's. One last game, One last pokedex with every last pokemon available (where you could REALLY "catch them all") would be an incredible way to end the series. I understand scars can fade over time, especially on kids; but since it was on her face, I did not want to take any chances. That it only might work was good enough for me.I've used the Dr. Max Powers Scar Serum regularly on her face for about a month and it is definitely faded, not so noticeable anymore.I also have a deep scar that is 35 years old right smack on the bridge of my nose. It's not fading any more than it has. I decided to try it on that and also a recent burn scar on my arm. The scar on my arm is looking better. It's still there but smooth and fading. The one on the bridge of my nose is deep. I think it looks better but it will be many months before I think I'll truly know. My web browsing does not work when iInternet Getting Slower And SlowerHello, I'm just got an EVDO connection yesterday and the speed I'm getting is much slower than I expected it to be. I use utorrent and the max speed I've gotten so far is 12kb/s and my web browser slows down badly or even stops working completely. I restricted the bandwidth in utorrent to 5Kb/s and this still happens. This also happens when I'm updating my antivirus.I did some speed tests on dslreports.Com and the results are 113KB/s, 85kb/s and 40kb/s. Even the lowest is far higher than the speed I get.
