Problem in Adapter of Toshiba LaptopToshiba laptop AC Power IssueI am having a strange problem in the power adapter of Toshiba L300 (It is 19V , 3.95Amp.). If the batter is discharged and the adapter is charging the battery along with supplying power to laptop, it works fine but as soon as the batter is fully charged, the charger starts to sound almost continuously. Though the sound is not so loud, it can be heard when the adapter is near- seems like some relay is switching on/off rapidly. Actually, its not the sound I am having problem with, but the adapter is drawing AC current from the AC power source very irregularly and when I run the adapter from an inverter (pure sinewave, very good voltage regulation), all the lights connected to that inverter flickers in exact timing as the sound the adapter makes. So I think some component in adapter is switching on/off the ac input, may be its trying to move to low power circuits. (The adapter also sounds similarly when it is connected to city supply ). Actually, its been just 2 months I bought the laptop, but due to a minor breakage in its connector, the dealer refused warranty claim. I was having the problem from the beginning. So, I cut open the adapter, but due to the white fillers, I couldn't have good look to every component but as far as visible, I did not see any sort of relay in it. Replying to iGuestIs it really our responsibility to make sure that they can do that? I mean we may be selfish but that is how our whole country started. We have to be selfish to protect ourselves. If we had been selfish in the first place we wouldn't have been there. FPS Creator isnt all that greatFps CreatorThat FPS Game Creator, is cool to play around with, but if your seriosly gonna spend money on it, that's a really big waste, and if you realse your game, to the world using that software its not gonna last longer then 2 days. If I were you, Id spend the money you were planning on spending on that software, to go and buy a C++ Book, and learn how to program in C++. Since C++ Is the most widely and one of the most powerful Programming languages, it would be much more worth while to go make your games in C++. Alternativly, You can just go sparx.Heliohost.Org and go download his game. Its still pretty basic (Pre-Alpha) but its what C++ Is all about, He made everything 100% by him self, didnt use any one else's models and has everything going, not to mention really nice looking forums lol. I found that not only playing his Pre-Alpha game is way more fun then playing some fake game, but you can get in early, and actully be popular on his game, as its bound to become big, as he hosts his own server, and builds his own models and stuff (yet he cant afford a decent .Com website lol). Seec77,I wonder if it is possible for your code to over write hyperlinks? What I have is an outdated hyper link a bout 800 of them. I need to change them all to link with files that they are associated with. Columns A1 -A 247 have the names of the files that are associated with them. So lets say cell A1 contains N001, that particular file is located at C:documentstransupdatesN001.Pdf. What I would like it to do is look for that file in the C drive and make it a hyperlink for the cell A1. Do you think it's possible to do that?

Killer008r, what are you even talking about, you don't need to disconnect anything. Once you have connected to the service, you can then go into offline mode. The problem is that you must first connect, which is absurd for a single player game. I don't care if there are people pirating games, the rest of us shouldn't have to suffer for it and Steam is the only one that forces you to go online before you can play any games. This gives them unlimited power and control over YOUR game. They can ban you from ever playing your game again even if you already paid for it -reply by Tracey

You must first connect to their service online BEFORE you can then go into "offline mode." If you have no internet connection then you cannot play ANY Steam games, even single player ones. Why? Because Steam is run by CROOKS and they run their service like a MALWARE group. I ran into a similar problem, I no longer had an internet connection because I couldn't afford it, and so I could no longer play any games through Steam, not even single player games. I contacted support and they basically told me to go get bent. My advice to people is simply to never buy games through Steam because of their business practices. If you anger them or do anything to cause them to disable your Steam account, you will NEVER AGAIN be able to play any of the games you ALREADY PAID FOR.
