1. Wow nice. I definately like the shine...how did you do that? Perhaps add it to your list of tutorial requests...
2. AHH! Cool Freaker and Phyre took my suggestions/comments. I was going to say something about the lines on the right, but I didn't know what they were called, so I resisted. Then, I was going to mention that Dante looks out of the picture, and that he needed to "blend" in, but I thought you wouldn't like to hear that, so I didn't say anything.I'll comment next time. Before those two.
3. If you want people to reply to your thread, you have to use a better and more descriptive title than "New Xbox". For example, you can post pictures of the new xbox, and/or post features of it (use quotes). You have to do something so that people will know what you're talking about. Also, please do not triple post. If you need something edited in your post, report it, and we'll take care of it for you. One more thing, one liners are considered spam here, and will not get you free webhosting. I suggest you improve your posting style. Thank you.
this is how you do quotes
4. Nice gray design. Nice. It's not uplifting, but at least all the colors are right for each other.I also like how the pages load fast. Kudos. What I don't like is how the stuff on the left side is not inside the wrap...unless that's the way you want it.Since this is not your design, I'll give you a 5/10. There are still some spelling errors and capitalization errors on your site that need fixing. Also, affiliate buttons are usually 88 x 31, not 88 x 30. Just to let you know....The three images at the bottom, Xisto, xisto, and Xisto - Web Hosting, looks a bit out of placed. I'd recommend modifying xisto and Xisto - Web Hosting so that the background is not white. Also, if you can make those images (xisto and Xisto - Web Hosting) 88 x 31, it'll be awesome because it will match the width of Xisto's button. Speaking of banners, are you hosted on Xisto or Xisto - Web Hosting? One says "Powered by Xisto" and the other says "Hosted by Xisto - Web Hosting". Which is it?You could also try to make the margin of the copyright text at the bottom a little bigger, so that it wouldn't look so squished with the banners and buttons.
5. Yeah rename them. The original owner might be a little weird or something and decided to name the volumes .rar. Who knows.Anyways, microscopic^earthling, I thought that you could just click on any of the volumes, including the file that doesn't have any association with the rest, and WinRAR will join them together. I remember doing that once....
6. Instead of having the whitespace, I'd go back and take it out with the wand, so it'll look like Johnny's old and huge sig.elevenmil, the photoshop thing is not easy for me, so I'm still a n00b. It's easy for Johnny apparently because of all of his cool sigs.
7. Question answered -> thread closed.
8. Hahaha! I'm not laughing at your performance; I'm laughing at the fact that you consumed alcohol before a big event. You should know better than that! I know I'm not 21, and I haven't drank huge amounts of alcohol, but I know better to do something foolish before an important event...especially if there are people there who might advance my career.Anyway, hope you have fun on your next concert/show without any influences.
9. I second the template comment by stu. I just finished applying the new layout for my site, and if I had a template engine, it would have taken much less because the only thing I had to do when editing my pages was to move text around, and that took weeks.By the way, where can we see your new creation? What is its URL?
10. Three word posts are considered spam here, and it's my job to close down threads that are spam. This forum is also called "Introductions," and "wuts up" is not an introduction. It's a greeting.
11. The bandwidth amount is on the front page: 5 GB for the regular and 500 MB for the starter. And I woulnd't try making both accounts because a) it's too much work posting twice, and we will find out with the help of IPs, so you'll be gone in no time.
12. Please don't revive old topics. If you want a form mail, get it here: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/20516-email-scriptform-with-php-how-to-make-a-simple-email-script-using-php/ Post all your questions there.
13. Three things here about this thread: 1. This is the only time when I'll say something nice to you, so keep a record of it. You are good. Period. I mean, I literally lick the screen when I see your work. It's just that good. 2. The reason why people think your good, besides the fact that you are, is that you revived this forum and stuffed it with awesome work. Look at the amount of posts in this forum. 30% percent of it is yours, and almost everyday you release sig(s). 3. If you have time (very important phrase there), would you make me a sig? Include the psd file so I can learn, too. I completely understand if you never do this (I really will) because I'm asking randomly, but thanks a bunch. Edit: Added more stuff
14. Nope. I don't feel bad for them or for myself at all. Yes, I have feelings, and yes, I've never had a girlfriend.
15. NOT AGAIN!I was going to post that. Why? Because I'm playing it right now. :rolleyes:I'm not losing yet....right now, I'm 31.4 feet high.
16. I WAS GOING TO POST THAT!! :frown: Anyways, the object of the game is to use all of the items on the side so that there are none left. Once you do that, you win the game...like serverph. I played this yesterday, and I got 3 items left. Edit: serverph is right on the objective. You actually use all the items, but you have to maximize their growth.
17. Haha, yeah. That was an april fool's joke, and you fell for it! :rolleyes:Besides, the picture of the drink looks like it was photoshopped, and the link you provided = 404.
18. All right, since this thread involves me, I think that it's only right that I make a post here. From the look of the initial post in this thread, it looks like varunone was trying to incriminate me by posting my actions and our Private Messages, and he did not get the support that he was looking for. Since you've (members of Xisto) have read our Private Messages, you knew my actions in warning varunone regardless of the time frame and my frustration that stemmed from his not knowing my position. The reason why I warned him twice was based on newton's third law: "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." In varunone's case, the opposite reaction was my warns. varunone did not follow the rules, so I had to warn him. varunone also thinks that because of his warns, I am a bad moderator. What would make me a bad moderator is if I did not give him a warning for clearly plagiarizing. To sum it up (based of Buffalo's post), should a person receive only ONE warning if he posted 500 plagiarized threads, and I happen to find the most recent one first? If your answer if "yes," then you're crazy. I don't know about you, but I too would not like to continue this discussion further. I have made my decision, and that stands final. However, if varunone does not copy and paste in the future, his warns will gradually decrease.
19. No approval! It doesn't matter if it's ugly...what matters is that you link to Xisto because it will get us more visitors and a higher pagerank, and those are the important things. Quality is not priority.
20. Too bad I have dialup. :lol:If anyone out there who is willing to download that and send it to me (snail mail), PM me. 500 MB+ to download would take weeks. How do I know? I did it when I was bored last summer, and I'm never going there again.
21. http://forums.xisto.com/topic/125-user-contributions/ You can use the buttons there or you can make your own. It doesn't matter how you link to us as long as you link to us.
22. I think the website pays you to search online, not the other way around.
23. The existance of your old site may still be in your cache. Clear it to see if it makes a difference.
