  1. Did you try clearing your cache?Firefox: Tools -> Options... -> Privacy -> Clear AllIE: Tools -> Internet Options... -> Delete Files...
  2. All Xisto pages or just the reply pages? The page right now (before I click "Add Reply") says Replying in Words At Top of Site Pages)....Perhaps it's your browser settings?
  3. All right, jerry's question on Xisto banners has been answered, so I'm closing this thread. If you have anymore questions, make another thread.
  4. What's wrong with the oxygen you're breathing now?? If it's bad, then go to the country and try it there.Besides, I heard that oxygen bars are bad for you anyway. I don't remember why, but I saw it on a television show....
  5. For a bigger database, go to urbandictionary: http://www.urbandictionary.com/
  6. I have just the tutorial for you: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/20516-email-scriptform-with-php-how-to-make-a-simple-email-script-using-php/ Read the ENTIRE thread to completely take advantage of it. Good luck! By the way, I use it for my site, so you can be sure that it works.
  7. Hmm....Working hard is not easy ("Easiest Way"), my friend. Besides, this is common sense, so I'm closing this thread.
  8. Hmm...good idea, but may be hard to implement. The reason is that hosting credits are already recorded into the database once the post has been posted, so it could be difficult to recall it. It may work though, so suggest it to OpaQue.
  9. oooh! I'm a rap music kinda person, and I love the offsprings.Back me up on this. Is a part of the lyrics of one of their songs "I got a tattoo" or something...?
  10. Nope. I always append new htaccess lines if I need to, and they seem to work everytime for me.
  11. Yeah, PM OpaQue for the go ahead on whether you can purchase hosting credits or not.Problem/suggestion solved -> thread closed
  12. One can use any banner/button to link back the Xisto. The important thing is the linking back part. The buttons there, I guess, are for people who cannot use picture editing programs very well.
  13. http://forums.xisto.com/topic/125-user-contributions/
  14. When people want to go to your site, they type in jerrylili.trap17.com. Don't worry about the public_html. That's only for uploading files. The href part is an attribute of the <a> tag in HTML. You can learn more about HTML here: http://www.w3schools.com/
  15. Well, if you have a yahoo account, then I say open the attachment. Why? Yahoo will scan it for you to tell you if it has any viruses on it. If yes, then you know it's spam, so you shouldn't download the attachment. If the attachment is clean, download it and open it. Simple.
  16. There is no file size limit. However, you cannot upload files greater than 20 megabytes if you have package one, and you cannot upload files greater than 150 megabytes if you have package 2, so essentially, the file size limits are 20 MB and 150 MB for packages 1 and 2, respectively. There are also no restrictions on file types as long as what you're uploading abides to Xisto's Terms of Service. That means that you cannot upload porn or warez. However, if you get paid webhosting by Xisto, then you can upload porn. Warez are illegal on both paid and free hosting. Hope that answered your questions! Edit: Fixed typo
  17. Hey, welcome to Xisto.I've been to a lot of webhosts also. They include Geocities, Angelfire, Thirdage, 000k, freewebs, and a whole bunch of others. The reason why I left was simple: not enough resources were offered. All of them gave out 10 MB of space to 120 MB of space, and on top of that, the majority of my previous hosts had ads. Intrusive ads. Very annoying.Xisto, on the other hand, will not put intrusive ads on your pages. We will also give you plenty of space and bandwidth, as you see on the front page (http://forums.xisto.com/) The only difference between Xisto and the other hosts is that we ask for your participation in the forums and nothing more.
  18. I need these, too. The reason is that they are very popular. I see my friends play with them all the time, so the money-making potential in interactive ads are very high in my opinion.
  19. Hey. Welcome to Xisto! You can easily get 1 hosting credit per 1 post. Easily. The number of hosting credits you earn depend on the length of your post, not the length and the location. The longer your post, the more hosting credit you will receive. Spamming (copying articles from other sites) will get you banned, so don't try it. You can, however, use the quote tags if you wanna copy: [quote]post goes here[/quote]. You can check your hosting credits here: http://forums.xisto.com/ (the front page). Your hosting credits are displayed in green. It should look something like: HOSTING CREDITS : 476.57 DAYS.. "Days" should be diffferent for you because I'm a hosted member, and you're not, but it should be in green. By the way, that's how many hosting credits I have. As you can see, I joined earlier this year, and it's been really easy for me to rack up the credits. As for the rejection question, yes you can get rejected, but that's only if you spam by copying other people's post, copying internet articles and pasting them here, or you use one-liners. One liners are posts that are less than 10 words (or posts that take up one line). But even if you're rejected, the nice admins here will give you another chance to clean yourself up, so you can a second chance to post and prove yourself. Once again, welcome to Xisto.
  20. http://www.w3schools.com/ That site has tutorials for everything about web development from HTML, CGI, PHP, ASP, Flash, Javascript, and LOADS more. The tutorial may be somewhat basic, but it should be a good start for beginners like yourself.
  21. Hmm, Raptrex, apparently, you're not hosted anymore, so no one can view your new template....
  22. The original one in the movies is dead....
  23. Same here, but I'm not going to bookmark. Instead, I'm using Xisto as my portal to loads of sites. The reputation system will come back as soon as a more stable version is released.
  24. This thread has been reported to the admins so one of them can examine your situation further.
  25. (I'm using statcounter: http://statcounter.com/) Which games do you like and which games do you not like? I'll delete the ones you don't like if it's reasonable. Thanks for your honest opinion. I really appreciate it. After looking at my site for a while, it does get hard to read everything, so I made a new template: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. The new template will go into effect as soon as I edit all the pages in my website, which will take quite a while because of all those games.
