Ok, I have searched and searched and searched, but cannot find a computer that suits my need, minimum specs are<AU$14001.66GHz 2 Core processor (supports 64-bit OSs)2GB RAM100GB HDD (5,400 PRM)Preferably graphics card, but integrated is fine (but preferably not shared with RAM)1280x700 32-bit colourCD-R/W DVD+-RW (preferably with DL)Any type (laptop or desktop) is fine but a laptop is preferred. I'm upgrading since my computer can barely handle its OS and these new game are just too much for my current computer.I have found systems with similar specs but just one thing ruins it, like everything else processor, HDD etc are all fine but then the computer only has 512MB of RAM.Even if you can't find any specific computers, feedback is very much appreciatedOk, I've picked out all of the components I need and here are the final specs:Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz Kentsfield (which I am dying to OC it to 2.66 or even 3.2)ASUS P5N32-E SLI PLUS LGA 775 nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel MotherboardA-DATA 2GB (2x1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 (PC6400) Dual Channel Desktop Memory (wanting to get another pair after I get more money)Gigabyte GV-NX88S640H-RG GeForce 8800GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Expressx16 HDCP ready SLI supported Card (might get another one sometime soon)Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570 GZ-FA1CA-*bottom* 1.0mm Aluminum body Full ATX TowerThermaltake toughpower W0104RU 650W PSU Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive LG Electronics Black 18X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 10X DVD+R DL 18X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 18X DVD?R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM Write Acer AL2016WBbd Black 20" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 800:1 Microsoft Optical Desktop with Fingerprint Reader BZ5-00002 Black 105 Normal Keys 22 Function keys Function Keys USB for mouse only Standard Creative SBS380 12 Watts 2.1 Speaker Total Cost Approx. AU$1800 way over my budget I know but with extra elbow grease I should be able to get it in no time

this sounds famaliar to the worm that was going around couple 'la months ago, it terminates system services when windows boot effectively making your OS superflous. I would suggest reformatting, or under the 60 seconds try to copy as much ESSENTIAL FILES as you can to a usb flash drive and when you've reinstalled your OS DO NOT INSERT THE FLASH DISK!!!!! Get as much unclonflicting AV software as you can (all fully updated) then insert the flash disk, any viruses should be detected, if there is a virus quickly move that file to quarantine, format the flash drive then submit (or delete) the file in quarantine

I Love My Neighbor, I Get Free Internet From Them

one of my friends would drive around town with his other friend's laptop on and when they hit an unencrypted wireless network they stop and use it -
act casual, no hyperventilating, and act yourself, don't just say something you can't do, and take it easy. I recommend watching this to help you get on your feet, funny I know but it does help. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ oh and ahh good luck!

but still insignificant to the amount of storage rapidshare has, but how big is it? the size of a house? the size of a mouse? this may seem large now, soon we'll begin to see 2.5" disks at a capacity of mmm lets see, x decabytes?

No, if the big bang theory is correct then that void the the point of origin, because when the big bang 'Banged' everything would of flown outwards, leaving nothing behind, and this is also seen during a nuclear explosion. When the bomb explodes around 100m in the air the blast waves leave the area just under neath intact, heat is the only problem, so if we can take this into account, the middle of that big empty void can be the original point of the big bang. All theose theories created in the 1980s about the big bang made me wander. Didn't they say the the universe is expanding really fast? If that is true then this void may have a really thin fabric of time and space because the universe is slowly pulling this void apart, and when the fabric rips, then a giant 'hole' will form sucking everything in which is what the ending of the universe'The Universe will expand until no more matter can be made then the universe will collapse on it self'If this is true then we may have found the centre of the universe

I don't use ccleaner on my registry, just my internet files, since my hard drive is pretty small (80gb, thinking of upgrading sometime soon) and i'm running vista ultimate 64bit whenever I go surfing (on the net) my browser downloads alot of crap and so I use ccleaner. It can delete up to 3gbs sometimes and I think its really useful, I recommend it but don't use it on the registry, the registry is like the computer's heart DON'T TAMPER WITH IT!i don't think it slows your computer, but it does take awhile to 'bring' back all the saved urls

I don't care i mean its not even 0.1 of a second, it's just unfair on google, they put all that effort into their beloved search engine and whamo yahoo comes and steals their place as the fastest search engine, but google after being online for all that time with their fancy spiders and bots they win when it comes to quantity and quality, but yahoo has speed. So back to the old saying 'Do you want to do it fast, or do you want it done right?'In my opinion google is the better search engine and it'll always be like that

oh! so cute! I used to have a cat and because I have no scanner I can't show you his picture.Well he was a ginger coloured simese cat whose name was kathmandu (mandu) for short. He would run up to me when I clap my hands, and hates cat food, so every week we have to buy some mince for him to eat. When I went to another country to visit relatives, mandu was left with the neighbours but became very sick. three days after I came back my beloved cat's body was found buried under hedge trimmings. I plan to get a new cat but not really convenient right now (school etc)

Getting Used In Love. People using others on the name of Love
csp4.0 replied to odomike's topic in Dating And Relationships
sorry about what happened. But if you think your partner isn't the best person, break up early so it wouldn't be so hard a couple of months later, and when you do break up that person will always be in your heart (unless of course you have a grudge on that person or something like that).Take it one step at a time and you should get through fine. -
I recommend the BenQ FP71G 19" monitor, good quality, I don't use it now (I use laptop) but before that I used it for 3 years and turned out with no dead pixels

yes, if you want advanced login/out functions you'll need php cgi/perl etc. a simple htaccess is fine for the average user but for some reason you're really paranoid try using php/perl/cgi scripts.

Peer-to-peer An article I wrote for my college mag
csp4.0 replied to angad619's topic in General Discussion
P2P is important for the upcoming gaming industry, like Supreme Commander for example uses p2p for online play, p2p will always have its downsides yes, but if you don't go around downloading illegal programs then it isn't that bad, a little searching around for some faqs, some game servers etc. p2p cannot be destroyed someday people will learn the message bill gates has been trying to spread and everybody would start to use p2p for legitimate stuff -
who knows? we have enough knowledge to know that we can't put 100% trust in computers so we'll always have someway of destroying them (destroy the power source etc) but if this does happen and all the 32-bit devices shut down all of a sudden can be quite catastrophic if the orld still hasn't moved to 64-bit.Lucky for me I'm already 64-bit

Boy Survives Six Hours At Night Lost In Dead Sea
csp4.0 replied to Soviet's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, when you are in a state of xenophobia, you normally react really violently or try to do what you assume is the best option, but somehow the boy managed not to turn into a state of xenophobia and reacted calmly, doing this is better if you are religous, but if you aren't it'll take alot more will and courage. He was really lucky to survive, because if you get that stuff on your eyes goodbye sight -
nobody knows how the great pyramids were built unless you travel back in time. They could be built by aliens, could be built by humans dictated by aliens, who knows? its only a debate that can go so far, but if you think about it, unless the egyptians has some access to the knowledge of those precise angles, and those materials the aliens built/helped build the pyramids

I remember when simcity 3000 unlimited just came out, man was I drooling, I've played every simcity game, and there are more coming I can tell you that, simcity 4 was great until simcity 4 rush hour came along, man was I playing the game for hours on end. Simcity is a great franchise, any EA personel that wants to cancel development of simcity games is a traitor of MAXIS, is a traitor worth zero simoleons.

This is old news, and some people have fast internet connections already (8mbps+), and some of us (like me) are running windows vista, still great to see people posting the tips, it keeps the tips alive

I never played the final fantasy series, but my favourite game was a game where you drive these vehicles (rubbish trucks, muscle cars etc) and you have guns mounted on the cars and you shoot the other cars, the game is kinda like Upshift StrikeRacer, but I forgot the name of the game, That game will always be my favourite PS2 game, though the crash bandacoot ones are ok, they aren't as good as the game I'm talking about
