Pearl Harbor, Could Have It Been Prevented?
csp4.0 replied to GrandG's topic in Science and Technology
there are conspiracies regarding 9/11, espiecially when high-ranking police officials and navy seals warned of their friends and family to stay away from the world trade centre on 9/11.Also some countries use this tactic so that they would gain support for war and/or to increase overall morale. So it could of been true, but do you think a president like Roosevelt would do such a thing? maybe nixon or bush but its kind of hard to think of it happening under Roosevelt's control.Like Kane (CNC) always said... South Koreans Clone Cats That Glow In The Dark
csp4.0 replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Science and Technology
wow, messing with genomes is really dangerous, and the process is not perfect meaning that everytime we clone something its genome is slightly different. This is the start of something dreadful, and we will regret it in the future. If you seen the Asgard (stargate sg-1) then you'd know what i'd be talking about. But outside the context of fiction no copying process is perfect, meaning that a copied file might have an off-placed 0 or 1 or one could of been destroyed during the copying process. -
did you know thepiratebay is sueing a copyright company for attempting to hack their servers?anyway welcome to Xisto *in a soviet RA2 accent* well, nobody likes the CRIA, and guess what! I used to be a demonoid user too! I live in Mel, AUS. And I will not reveal my age or *real* nationality (not the one shown on my passport) meaning that i could be a 96-year-old equitorial-guinean super-geek. hehehe, but who would believe that anyways?

well, alienware has been taken up, toshiba is nowhere near as good as dell, you don't like dell. I personally am never a fan of acers. ASUS is a bit uncomfortable. So why not Falcon-Northwest, https://www.falcon-nw.com/ Their notebooks/laptops are all very good and high quality. As you said price is not important. The best has 600GB of HDD, and 4GB of RAM etc...

well, first of all. All of us know that John howard is getting too old for this. Second, labor is going to put AUS in great dept by giving every year 9-12 student laptops (and I doubt thy are good, celeron 1.6GHz at best) and also I don't think suddenly upgrading all of AUS's broadband is going to be good. Well, I'm neutral they both have their goods and bads and family first isn't even worth thinking of as an alternative, so the greens?

Why does 0!=1 (zero factorial equals one). I've been confused by this for a long time. So why does it happen? If you were looking for an answer then you'd be at the wrong place, actually I'm asking for an answer. What is factorial?Well factorial is when a number is multiplied by all the numbers below it (except for zero) so 3! (three factorial '!' being the symbol for factorial) equals 6 because 3x2x1=6, 4!=24 because 4x3x2x1=24. The question is simple why does 0!=1?

i remember when on this episode of mythbusters they created a microwave freezer. They strapped 3 ( i think) magnetrons together and turned it on, the 3 were pointed at a glass of water (in glass). Instead of creating s "Super-Microwave" they made the water's temperature drop by around 2-3 degrees. But for your idea why not something like a bucket, you out whatever you want into it, and it drops into liquid nitrogen or something. But your idea is very good, an inverted microwave.

Mathematical Proof ...that there is no largest prime number
csp4.0 replied to RedAlert's topic in Science and Technology
you're forgetting the one thing. Infinite. It is a unknown number, I know that infinite is both odd, even, prime, non-prime and all the others you can think of. Because Infinity+1=Infinity, and so does infinity!, and so on...So that proves it, infinity is a prime and so there is no end to the number of primes there are... -

Theoretical Question - Memories Question 3
csp4.0 replied to galexcd's topic in Science and Technology
I watched somewhere that he mind can store infinite amounts of data, just to give you a comparison. If every atom in the universe was turned into data, it would fit into a person's mind. Why we forget? We forget because the mind considers some data to be 'old' and just stores it and doesn't catalogue or index it, thats why we get the 'I was going to say something but now I forgot'. And why hypnosis can bring back old memories.People say that, if I can store infinite data into my brain, why can't I remember a book when I read it the first time? That is because it isn't how much data we can store, its how we store it!Storing data isn't just a matter of 'Compute, COMPUTE! COM-PUTE!!!!!' our minds can only process limited amounts of data at one time, and so thats why reading slower helps you to remember more than reading maybe 1500WPM? -
I still think the 1vs1 battles are very slow, but the 4vs4, or 8vs8 battles are very fast. The lack of units make this game sort of empty, espiecially to those who play Supreme Commander. The graphics like you said are very good, though putting up the graphics level does do alot, 1 can run low graphics at around 30FPS, but on Med. graphics I run around 8FPS. But I haven't played to retail, I've only played Demo, and Beta versions.

i had nothing on my site, it just had a 404 error on it, but I got approved. I wonder is google even checks the sites or just makes sure that they delay the approving by 1 week? to seem like they are checking it... hehehe... typical google...

I Finally Got My Site Done! Yay
csp4.0 replied to KansukeKojima's topic in Websites and Web Designing
remember a site is never completely finished, those that are 100% complete are dead. Remember to update it often. I agree with the people above, the text isn't light enough, I would recommend using a lighter shade as it is a bit hard to read at the moment. Also validate it in W3 it'll improve the code and make itt more compatible with other browsers. Also consider putting in a DOCTYPE tag, it doesn't do much but in my opinion it really shows what language you are writing in (HTML is split into Strict and Transitional and has many different versions). You might want to consider making a decent navigation bar, the one at the moment might be missed by a few people...I liked the site overall althrough the design seems to be a little familiar (not saying you used a template or anything) but the design just looks familiar. -

Internet Could Max Out In 2 Years, Study Says
csp4.0 replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Computer Networks
lets see... The internet isn't some sort of central server. It is spread out amongst millions possibly even billions of different computers and servers. If all that space is used up then bye bye internet 1.1, hello web 2.0... -
What Is The Best Processor For Gaming? Is it Intel or AMD?
csp4.0 replied to 2091's topic in Hardware Workshop
wow, bringing back a 3 year old article.anyway the Intel Core 2 Extreme (C2E) series seem to be on top of things, but the AMD FX-xx series might also be good, but the AMD only has 2 cores, and NO! Quad CORE IS NOT OVERKILL!So I'd personally go with Intel but AMD would be a very good alternative -
yes, buffaloHELP is correct. It must be the jumpers (nothing else could be causing the problem). Take the jumper out of the CD-ROM's IDE slot (Or SATA) and then plug it in, if it still doesn't work take it out and then see if it works. Also make sure that your BIOS is up to date and that your plugging t in the correct plug (Not floppy or something like that)also check to make sure their aren't too much dust that could of short-circuited some circuits...

I hate these Internet service providers how they just charge you to call for technical help or something. And they probably even purposely put you on hold just to get money off you. Its even worse when they randomly accuse you of not paying your bill, even when you did. *grrrrrrrh*People these days like money just a little bit too much. Take Telstra in AUS for example, they are building GSM phone towers anywhere they want without opposition, and guess what they want to do now? they want to build one on top of a church, the church disagrees and they try to bribe them! this has gone too far. There are a lot of other things why Internet Service Providers are slowly taking over (just like Safeway, AUS) and are charging us way too much for so little. I recommend changing Internet Service Providers even if you're on a contract, it'll show them. And also the smaller Internet Service Providers always have better service and better plans than those huge telecom giants.

Road Accident Prevention Ideas life is precious
csp4.0 replied to serverph's topic in Science and Technology
actually honda and many other car companies are already making cars that incorporate this 'breath test' technology. But i'm sure they could do better. There should be other things like ultraviolet headlights, infrared headlights, GPS, and cars that can float...But the main way of preventing these 'deaths' are to have responsible drivers on the road and those who aren't so responsible 'Locked Up'. -
ok...why not get both?i mean getting both will mean that there would be no argument.Anyway if you only have the budget to buy one then i suggest the XBOX 360, it has a lot more features, can act as a media centre and is cheaper (atleast cheaper in AUS anyway) That's why I support XBOX, but if you are a fan of sony (which a lot of people are) then go for the PS3, the graphics processing power is almost the same but the PS3's GPU will have lower temperatures due to a lower clock speed, the XBOX 360 is prone to overheating if you play like 5 hours on end. I support the XBOX because it is cheaper, has more games, similar processing/GFX power to PS3 and can act as a media centre

ahh... finally someone who thinks like me!I just hate it when my friends go talking about runescape. I don't know why but I just hate it, just like I hate Age of Empires.I don't know why people like it, because I remember being in the 'Runescape Hype' where everyone played runescape (even me).But then after like 3 days I got really tired of it and started to hate it, I even hacked on it once.

WHAT! WHAT! Smoking is illegal yet marujiana is? WHAT!and if you're caught drink-driving you cannot come within 10 miles of any alcohol store? WHAT! that doesn't make any sense.I agree with you on the other laws however. But what is your opinion on capital-punishment?tax? etc etc... -
I can't get the game... my hard drive is only 80GB! I will definitely get it when I get my computer (next year) and will also be installing Flight Simulator X: Acceleration and all those other flight simulators. Lucky this game is free (not including S+H) or else who could afford a 80GB game?
